Sorry Britt. I was in a bad mood from being frustrated at school. I'll delete it.

I don't think I could leave this place, even though I rarely post. Lurk and decompress addiction. Five year habit is hard to break, and even though I rarely dance anymore, I get to keep in touch with the naughty side on here. I miss the way things used to be, though.

I'm keeping my mouth shut on the topic. If anyone wants to know my feelings, feel free to PM.
WOW! I am SUPERBUSY right now, but I will answer all PMs as soon as I get the chance. Like I said, I'm still hangin' around the site when I can!

However, I am disgusted to think that this site has been empowering the wrong parties and that by posting here I am contributing in any way to this phenomenon.
It's a tough call right now.
Yeah. Agreed. I'm reading, because I like many of the people here, but I'm disgusted by the attitudes and things that may not be posted about. So I'm really not here. I'll prob be gone eventually.

What I like about this forum is the members. More and more of them are dropping out. Some of them were very active when I started and I LOVED getting info and advise from them. Without those key members...*shrugs*
I'll side with a couple others, lay low for a bit and see how this plays out. Hopefully justice will prevail and things will change for the good.
Just in case you leave before I get the chance to tell you:

LazyDaisy, I know your heart is in the right place, but making a list of specific names might not be the best thing to do. That's why I was vague with what I said about some people being the only reason I stay. Don't want hurt feelings or drama. ;) :)

I've wondered that, myself. Maybe her family life got too much? I loved krchab99's posts too; full of random observations and always very supportive and nice. Her spelling's pretty crazy but I thought it was a funny little idiosyncrasy. :)

I'm here, but I edited this post to delete most of it, b/c no matter what position you take, SOMEONE is going to have a problem with it. Don't be nice, don't be mean, just listen and learn. As soon as you open your mouth about anything around here, you catch shit for it. It's not nearly as supportive or encouraging as it used to be. That being said, I'm here, but barely.

I am personally semi-oblivious to being in cliques because I tend to think being "in" could be a sign of weakness, sort of like people who only feel cool if they are in a gang, what is the draw to being an inside member to a cult? a gang? a clique? a hate group? a religious group? like why care?
While I do understand why we people are drawn to be territorial, in reality the site doesn't belong to any persons here but to the people that actually own it, pay for it, and could just pull the plug if they get fed up with it.
Side story...
There is a software development process called SCRUM http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrum_(development) ... In the SCRUM process there are two groups, one group is the PIGS, and the other the CHICKENS.
Here is the joke:
A pig and a chicken are walking down a road. The chicken looks at the pig and says, "Hey, why don't we open a restaurant?" The pig looks back at the chicken and says, "Good idea, what do you want to call it?" The chicken thinks about it and says, "Why don't we call it 'Ham and Eggs'?" "I don't think so," says the pig, "I'd be committed but you'd only be involved."
Once that sinks in...
It is an interesting way to look at the world and responsibility. When it comes to something we want done, to ask ourselves, are we a Pig? or a Chicken? One reason for SCRUM is that those who are only involved have a way of being excessively demanding because they can be. They have no reasons not to be. But it is also not helpful that they are.
While Chickens get some say during the SCRUM planning process, after that the process requires that they STFU and let the Pigs do their work, or not. Because it is the Pigs who actually make things happen (or not). And the Chickens are really not responsible for anything. They benefit and are involved, but if they really want to step up their game and move past being involved, then they need to become pigs... become committed.
Translated...
Pryce and his co-owners are the pigs of this site (no offense), they are the ones that committed. The rest of us are chickens, involved but that is all. We come and go with no real committment. But Pryce and crew have been putting in something since day one. The site is still here because of that commitment.
Us chickens can either step up and become committed by starting our own sites, or we can go on being chickens, involved but that is all.
p.s. Moderators are a bit of both, Pigs in that they are committed to logging in daily, reading all posts, cleaning up. But they too leave sometimes, yet the site remains. I guess we can call them Piggens? Or Chigs?

I would like to request that y'all refrain from telling each other to fuck off, shut the fuck up, or to go fuck yourselves.
Thank you.
