Biden did fantastic.I agree, he seemed much more Presidential and seemed to give a lot more substance in his answers. Palin did better than I thought that she would (of course my expectations were very low), still she seemed to avoid specifics and tended to avoid questions she didn't want to answer. Palin saying that she wanted increased powers for the Vice Presidency also scared me a bit (can you say Cheney II?).

Biden sold me.
I like Biden....bloopers and all...at least you know where he stands. :3dglasses
Sarah Palin....
- wanting to change the rules of the debate...LOL!!!!!!
- wanting the VP to have more powers- LOL!!!!!!!!!!
- I never want to hear the word "maverick" again
-giving a shout out to personal people during a VP debate in times like this...not cool
-if she does not know an answer, she changes the question and starts talking about energy.
I'm still waiting for John McCain and Sarah Plain to explain in DETAIL how they are going to be different than Bush and the last 8 years.

When I listened to Obama's acceptance speech, I found myself asking, "Will he really be able to do those things?"
When I listened to McCain's, my question was, "Will he really do these things?" (Referring to reform and cutting pork barrel spending.) I have yet to see anything to convince me.
Tonight, Biden convinced me that Obama will be able to accomplish much of his agenda when Biden talked about his success in getting bipartisan support for legislation.
Eight years ago, I liked McCain. Earlier in the campaign, I thought Obama lacked experience. I find today that I will vote for an inexperienced Obama rather than a McCain who sold out his "maverick" positions to the far right in order to get nominated.
But I somehow think we have not heard the last of Sarah Palin. I think she will move to the Senate, get some foreign policy committee experience, and in eight or twelve years she will be back at the top of the Republican ticket. (As a maverick and fighter of earmarks, greed, and corruption, of course.)
One last thing--if McCain/Palin really think there is corruption on Wall Street, why aren't they pushing for indictments? Deregulation is not going to stop corruption or greed. And greed, of course, is not illegal.

I watched for about an hour before I turned on the X box. Too bad they didn't want to actually answer the questions. I thought Obama did a better job though.

so when are they actually going to explain how they're going to achieve their objectives? All I hear is "we need to fix this" and "we need to fix that" both neither is offering up a solution IMO.
