I think that was meant as a compliment.

I personally like pretty petite girls--but I like them to be thick in the right places. By thick I mean with tone on thier body, cavles, ass, tits, arms not just up and down rail thin.

There is a difference in how you carry your weight and me @ 120 I'm thick for my frame--but in a good way becuz I have a banging bod and @110 I don't have the legs+ass I have now.

Weight size and thickness are seperate things.

I could have a massively large object that weights near nothing or I could have a small rock that weights a ton--when people comment on thier thickness they are ussually reffering to you having a firm body and a muscular body mass verses saying you are fat which actaully weights less once for once then muscle.

Certin cultures love meaty women--like where I live with all the hispanics thick = healthy+beautiful to them so why take it as a bad thing.

I think thicker girls are beautiful beyond belief. Delilah youre drop dead gorgeous. I just wish naturally thin girls could get respect too.

"It IS a compliment, because I would never want to look the way they do. "

^Stuff like that is hurtful. I appreciate that you love your body and I'm sure it's beautiful, but a lot of times I see discussions supporting thicker girls are at the same time INSULTING thin girls, calling them anorexic looking or sickly, etc. It's something I see a lot and as a naturally thin girl who eats her ass off, I find it really offensive.

I'm 5'8'' and 110 pounds. I have meat on me, but my bone structure is naturally TINY. I will never get over 120 in my life, it's impossible, I am built like a petite little fairy, seriousy my bones are like toothpicks.

I pretty much think all bodies are beautiful as long as they are in shape and tone all over.

Delilah is fuckin' hot!

Short girls can get those firm muscular curvy legs that stand out so much...well...cuz they're not tall.

If that makes sense.

It makes them look like little dolls and I like that.

You go ahead and come to my club and tell me that these particular girls aren't anorexic or seriously drug-addled. No one who is healthy looks the way they do. We aren't talking about people who are naturally thin, we are talking about girls who literally have zero meat on them. Their bodies are all angles because there isn't one ounce of fat, muscle or anything else. They are almost entirely skin and bones. Every time one of them is on stage, guys comment about how nasty they look. They are difficult to watch because they look like they are starving to death.

I have no problem with healthy women of all sizes, but it isn't sexy to be sickly thin. I'd never come on here and say that it's sexy to be obese, and it's not sexy to be skin and bones. If you aren't that way, then you aren't the type I'm talking about.

^ I hear ya. I'm sorry to be overly sensitive. One of those days. Blah, hehe.

I guess I tend to be a bit touchy over it because for a lot of my life I was really thin, it actually came from having undiagnosed celiac disease, I wasn't even absorbing my food! Now I'm a bit meatier but still tiny and I still occasionally get "eat!" type comments. It's just always bugged me how guys tend to think it's okay to talk to thin girls like that but they would feel bad calling a girl fat.

I'm actually surprised girls like that would get a job in clubs. I've never seen a super thin (in a sickly way) girl at clubs around here, if anything most of them are meatier. There are petite girls my size but we still have meat on us. Are they doing drugs maybe? The only time in my life I was really, really sickly thin like that was the year I spent addicted to crack cocaine (long ago). :( Do they make any money? I'm just curious because I always worry about if I'd make money and I hear of these nasty girls and wonder how they do.

By the way, Obama ftw! You rock! :)

I've been at both ends of this issue. Before my babies I was naturally very thin. Not skin and bones, but I got a lot of comments. People always wanted to 'feed me burgers.'

Now I'm 5'9 and approximately 160 pounds. I HATE how big I am but I just have to keep in mind that baby weight can be difficult to get rid of. I'm also battling a fast food addiction. I get called thick ALL the time. At least once a day. I know that they mean it as a compliment, but being the stereotypical brainwashed white girl I associate anything about being bigger with insult, guilt, shame, and well it definitely is a trigger for eating disorder.

I feel HUGE compared to the other girls. There is only a couple girls at my club bigger than me but their boobs are also huge. My boobs are now pancakes after breast feeding so I don't even feel proportionate. ARGLEBARGLE! I need a better attitude/personality/brain/something!

Some customers do like the deathly thin girls. Just part of the fantasy I suppose. The questionabley skinny girls I've worked with do make money. A lot of customers and other girls talk shit about them being so skinny, but hey, they also talk shit about me being fat.

I'm not getting where looking healthy is not the best compliment interms of beauty.

I mean every1 wants a healthy smile, skin, hair, why would any1 want an unhealthy looking body?

I can also tell you the difference between some1 that is unhealthy thin and healthy thin just by looking at them and clearly healthy is much more attractive--maybe not hidng under the stage lights or on magazine where they airbrush everything, but trust me you want to look and be healthy.

"so i agree i am meaty or thick buy only from my wiest to my knees"

Bwahahahahha I'm the same way. I'm tiny, but my ass is where all the fat is. My ass and thighs. I swear, I am like a toothpick all over, but if I gain any weight it instantly just becomes cellulite on my ass and thighs. Or a gut as well, if I gain enough. I would KILL to be able to put sexy, toned meat on all over and have a bod like Delilah. :(

Damn genetics. Damn them to hell.

I am forever getting referred to as 'thick'...
The other day I was walking through the dressing room and a girl was saying "I want to be like... thick on the bottom with a flat stomach... LIKE HER!" and then points at me. T_T

This must be a white girl hang up. I was "thick " and described myself as such and I looked DAMN GOOD. I have no idea how someone complimenting you all on having curves makes you sad. Why do white girls just want to be stick thin? I was skinny as a pole for most of my life and it sucked. Why would you not want to have a shape? I guess different cultures want different things but being "thick" isn't a bad thing in my mind.

*I'm not downing naturally thin girls. I was one for a long time and I know how hurtful people saying stuff like, "Do you eat?" and such can be. That's why I don't understand why girls would be so upset about being called thick if it's meant as a compliment.

^^ I think it is mostly a white girl thing. I didn't even hear the term thick until I started dancing, and I almost always hear it from black guys. So, I *knew* that it was a compliment, but being from a white background my brain automatically associated the word thick with fat. It just *sounded* bad.

i am too big for most white guys, and too small for most black dudes...

That's how I feel. Black dudes and Hispanic dudes seem to like me the most, but unfortunately we a)don't get a lot of black or Hispanic customers, and b)it's almost always the white dudes who have all the money. White guys are straight up rude to me sometimes, I'll say hello and introduce myself all nice and shit and they just give me a weird look and say "No thanks." Wtf? So yeah, I'm also trying to lose a little weight, not because I don't feel sexy being "thick," but just to see if it helps me appeal to the white man.

Oh the things we do...

Hahaha. For me... I don't like the word because most of the people I've met who describe themselves as 'thick' aren't thick... they're fat. So in my head "you're thick = you're fat".

tru dat ^^^

yeah I find the curvy/thick/voluptuous thing a double edged sword too - I get told things along the line of 'you're a real woman, not like some of these skinny things' or 'you have a nice juicy ass, i love girls with curves' and instead of making me feel sexy i ended up feeling like a whale. The only time it doesn't affect me like this is if it's a black/islander/maori guy saying it.. then I just feel sexy :P

Actually, once a guy I'm sleeping with said I had a 'nice fat ass' and for some reason it didn't upset me like 'curvy' does... weird..
