I believe that there are customers who pay dancers for conversation who would not admit to it because they are afraid of being laughed at and ridiculed.

Nope, decent guys, who come into a SC and know how it works tip for time. There's nothing embarrassing about it.

It is paying for time, not conversation. If I meet a charming dancer and she is fun...and I drag her stage side to help distribute "cheer"... then I am sure as hell going to pay for her time.

But...some of us see SC's as pure entertainment and not a vehicle to splooge in our pants.

I'd say that sums up the back and forth here rather well

That could be but more likely due to to the state of the economy his strippers are demanding that he provide the cocktail napkins which was previously a stripper provided perk. I would be pissed too and not want to hang out on a stripper site after that insult. Fuck them bitches.

mr punk, I don't know what you mean by the "mother of all drama fests." If you would be so kind, could you please enlighten me, and how this relates to my comment that most of the gals on SW are not the kind of stripper that abcd enjoys. enlighten you? there isn't that much bandwidth in the world. still, it certainly explains your foolish belief that your SW peers are the nobel prize winners of stripping.

Oh, pay no mind to Mr. Schadenfreude's orgasm over past conflicts. He arouses himself easily.yep...hell, i'm still basking in the afterglow of mod exodus. anyway, one down (jenny), one to go (that's you, evan).

Where did I ever say the gals on this site are the Nobel winners of stripping? I merely stated that the ladies here make an effort to learn more about their industry, which means they are more business oriented and not like some of the strippers out there who come to work to get drunk and suck some dick and are okay with bringing home less than their potential cash each night.

Where did I ever say the gals on this site are the Nobel winners of stripping?true. actually, you stated,"I am more than confident that the ladies on SW are not your average bear". IOW, above average.

I merely stated that the ladies here make an effort to learn more about their industry, which means they are more business oriented and not like some of the strippers out there who come to work to get drunk and suck some dick and are okay with bringing home less than their potential cash each night.LOL..like i said, above average. nonetheless, SW isn't an "average, flaky stripper with daddy issues" free zone. it's not even close. you just don't know it yet.

I think all dancers are business orientated - it after all is their income. Some are more skillful than others at parting customers from their $$$'s, and some resort to extras cos they are less skillful.

(I haven't yet met a dancer who danced for the pure fun of it. With all of them it's the money. After the money, some dancers do get a bit of fun out of that they do - and some grow to hate it).

I think it's the customers who have most trouble getting their heads around the 'money' concept - most of the cries of pain here and up in pink from the male of the species are of the general type "what do she mean, it's all about the money - I thought she liked me".

I'd say the value that SW (or any stripper forum) provides most of the girls upstairs comes from having an outlet to express their frustrations with the goings on at work, or goings on with their civilian friends and relatives regarding their work.

As far as the girls wanting to "learn more about their industry", ehh....I'd say a great deal of girls upstairs tend to be somewhat selective in what they want to learn.

Perhaps I shouldn't have projected onto other members, okay. But I certainly think that if someone takes the time to research their craft (i.e. become part of an industry based forum that has an area specifically designated for hustling, in particular) that they have a little more drive than someone who just wings it. I'm not disrespecting ladies who don't do this, I just think it shows some ambition when someone takes the time to go onto the internet, find the forum and actively post. I know I came to SW purely for the Hustle Hut... now I only stay to harass abcd. :-P

So whatev, I digress. The point is moot, anyway.

You mean its like when criminals go to prison and learn how to be better criminals. Like that sort of professional learning?

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.

Some of what I read in the Hustle Hut is just sound business savvy. Some of it is right out of the grifters handbook on how to take a mark.

So I guess it sort of depends.

BTW, its not like I don't acknowledge that can cut both ways. There is plenty that goes on around this site and others among the men that sounds a similar note about getting over on another human being.

I've never read hustle hut. I honestly could care less. I don't bother to read the threads that I can't participate in very often. I don't necessarily disagree with your assessment GR, It's just really not why I come here.
