I did level 2 again today but i quit like 5 minutes early.... still eating ok, other than the pizza party my sis's research team put together.. and the mini cheesecake...

Shred update: The DVD got too tedious for me. Even switching around between levels to break up the monotony, I just got sooo bored of the same exercises and hearing the same lines: "I'd like abs like that! And I'd do just about anything to get 'em!"

SO. what I am doing now is alternating 30 day shred with some of Jillian's other workouts. She uses similar moves in all of them, so i feel like it's still just as good of a workout. A lot of them are on netflix streaming, too--today I did one that had the sweat dripping from my forehead.

So, that's one way to break up the monotony without completely falling off the wagon.

I've had issues too with the workouts getting boring, so I've been alternating the Shred dvd with other workouts that use similar muscles and also make me sweat like crazy. But I come back to 30 day shred once or twice a week.
Combine that with dieting, running 2 miles a day, and doing cardio 4 times a week...and I'm starting to see results. I'm taking progress pics next week so I'll post up my before and after. and the journey goes on. I don't attribute my weight loss to the 30 day shred only, but I feel amazing now that I've dedicated myself to living healthy. Ok thread jack over.
