My club is weird O_o more casual/ laid back for the workers.
$100 one time booking fee, which we don't pay out of pocket. The club takes a portion of our cut from LDs ($5-$50), until we pay that off. If we have a habit of showing up late or having an attitude problem (beyond reason anyway), then the club can raise said booking fee, or start you over if you paid it off already.
They get a cut (less than 50%, less % for longer dances) from LDs.
Official tip out is $50, but we rarely pay full. It all depends on how we do in LDs. My manager has actually refused my tip out on slow nights (he's da man!) But that's because he usually never hires a DJ when he's there, and only a bar maid on occasion. Apparently he's better at watching the door, music (though we do that ourselves too), dancers, customers, cameras, and drinks, by himself than two extra employees. O_o
