In my experience you are wrong.

You need to get some real world experience. Your post reminds me of that old cough medicine commercial where this guy says "I am not a doctor but I play one on TV". I suggest you visit a few brothels and get a clue.

Well, at the risk of going too blue side on this, the club I go to has a lot of "Perfect 10" type 20 y/o with very high mileage. I don't think even you can show me, with what sounds like a lot of experience, any brothel that would come close in looks & price. Just don't believe they exist.

i'd hate to disagree with this, but i have to. while this might be true in your area of the country (as it is in mine as well) in some areas (florida, coughcough) its relatively simple to find that sort of things in the club, since a high percentage of girls do exactly that.

Another excellent book sold on Amazon.com is: The Business Side of Escorting by JD Roberts. It is about 350 pages of useful information for someone considering escorting.

Well from the reviews I have read they say to jump in and get book 2 since book 2 repeats a lot of book one and its mainly geared to the usa and not so much for canadian workers.

that is why I like Amanda's books they are very universal for anyone in the usa or canada.

I did order Good Company from amazon.com i hope to see how this book is good or not.

I know from my experience to avoid www.becomeanescort.com like a plague.

This might sound harsh but I don't mean for it to sound that way, it's just how I come off sometimes. I just don't want to see you get ripped off bambi.

If you are in the U.S., then you really need to be making at least $300 per hour for escorting. Even if you work for an agency, your cut should be at least $300. I say that because that's pretty average all over the country for an escort. Now, most escorts are not really all that attractive. Many of them are overweight and I hate to be mean, but if you're a stripper than you're probably better looking than the average escort. To put it in perspective, if a 250 lb woman with warts on her face can get $200 in your area for sex, then you really need to be getting at least $300. Don't sell yourself short.

Think of what you need to pay your bills in a month and then figure how many appointments you need. So, if you need $3000 a month and you charge $300 then you only need 10 appointments a month, even less if some of them are longer than 1 hour. That's very doable, especially if you are young and attractive.

If you charge $200 or less an hour you will be very busy, but that means you might burn out quicker. If you burn out, the clients will notice it, your service will lack, and you will miss out on generous regulars because they won't book you again. When that happens you end up with all cheap asshole clients which will just screw up your outlook even more and (this is my opinion based on my experiences) this is what causes some escorts to become very bitter and angry.

On the other hand you might want to offer long, "cheap" dates so you'll only have to work a couple days out of the month. I once wanted to make some quick money for a gift and I put on ad up on TER offering an 8 hour date for $1500. I was booked within 15 minutes of placing the ad. Now, that's only 187.50 an hour but I would never accept that for a one hour appointment. Putting it out there as a block though is different because it's all with one client, I don't have to drive anywhere, and it sold very fast with almost no effort.

There's a lot involved in deciding if you want to go into this and how to go about doing it. But unless you are selling long dates that involve dinner or a show or movie or something, try to get at least $300 an hour for the one hour dates. You can get that, easy, so don't sell yourself short.

Oh, and by the way, Minnie thank you for that link. I'm seriously considering buying the ebook because I love this woman's blog. Very interesting.

I also hope you don't take offense to anything I've said. I know you work in Canada and it's different there. I'm just talking about the U.S. because that's all I have experience with.

Time for my annual debunking of common escort myths posting.

1. Escorting = PROSTITUTION. At least 90 % ( usually MORE ) of the time it involves having SEX with your "date" ; "client"; customer etc. Usually it involves a bj AND intercourse. Rumors and fantasies to the contrary, escort work involving being fancy, high priced "arm candy" is VERY rare and the market for it these days is WAY down. And in most of those cases the escort has sex with the client; AFTER going to dinner at a 5-Star restaurant; and/or the charity fund-raiser etc.
The biggest difference is that she charges more.

2. Prices vary. Agency cuts are usually around 40 %. To pocket $300 an hour as an agency escort means you have to billed at $500 WITH the agency picking up for the hotel room. Most agencies will only split it with you. $500 is a rough dividing line between average and VIP- Escorts. It USUALLY denotes a GFE = dfk, daty, BBBJ with only the intercourse covered.

In the NYC area and L.A. $500 is the going rate for a gal who is at least a "9" and is at least mostly GFE. In South Florida and N.J. it's $350 to $400.

3. NEVER advertise on Craig's List. You are asking to get busted. Eros-guide is the best place.

Advertise mainly online eros, the redzone,

Girlfriend Experience is the bare minimum you can offer your clients, you will also find some clients who just want to cuddle and have pillow talk.

Don't think you have to be in shape to be an Escort, go through the ads on the Eros guide and red zone and see who fits in your niche. and you would be surprise if you market yourself well you will have clients dying to see you.

an agency might be picky in who they are hiring so you might have to consider being independent. plus the agency also come with some baggage of its own.

I don't know. From surveying my escort friends and acquaintances, some have "Steady Reggies" ( regulars ) who do little more than talk and others almost always do the nasty with their clients. It depends.

There are some BBW and "Plain Janes" who escort but look at their rates ! Most are fairly inexpensive AND have broad menus.

Btw, I think GFE is the maximum offered by most escorts. Hygiene freaks who don't kiss and do everything covered are NOT popular compared to real GFE providers. A LOT of Vegas escorts find they get lousy reviews if they are not GFE.

Be careful with agencies. A few have excellent reputations for fairness and actual screening. Some are notoriously exploitative.

If you're going to do it (and keep in mind the only LEGAL place you can do it in the USA is Carson City, NV) I'd suggest you just buy an ad on Eros.com and stay independent. Don't put a phone number, just an email and try your best to screen the client as much as possible. Request their ID upon meeting.

That is not the only place in Nevada where it's legal, it's just the only place you've seen on television. ::)

$2000 a week? Working only five days a week, you'd be averaging $400 a day. For 8 hours of work, you'd be charging $50 an hour. That's a cheap trick to turn if you ask me. I'd aim much higher ($10K a week minimum/ four $500 1-2 hr. sessions a day) if you really want to make this worth your while. What you're quoting is barely decent dancer money.
I'd like to know where in So Cal you work that 50 bucks an hour/2k a week is barely decent dancer money. I can understand you saying this if you lived in a good money town, but So Cal is awful for stripping. I usually make 30-70 bucks an hour - about 1k a week, and I work at probably the busiest club in Los Angeles. We arent exactly having 1k nights over here...

And also on your website you listed niteflirt as a cam site they are not a cam site, they are phone site.

a webcam site would be rude, naked.com, cams, imlive, livejasmin, webcams, streamate, camz,
