and how many wild hairs up her ass?

I think this piece of information is critical and I would not blame a man for wanting to know this.

I wonder when the last time was that the cashier at burger king tried to sell anyone a sexual fantasy.

Besides this being the wrong question, what does it have to do with anything? The question is would you ask the girl at burger king her age? Answer? No. You wouldn't. So why ask a dancer?

Because the stripper is selling a sexual fantasy and the age is important part of any fantasy.

^^^ All the more reason to not ask, lest you not like the answer you get. If she looks like the age you're interested in, just assume she is and leave it at that.

Assuming takes the fun out of fantasy.

::) Hardly. Key word genius is fantasy. Age is irrelevant. Except for the age you want her to be. Aha!!! Eureka!!! That means a dancer is going to tell you whatever age fulfills your fantasy.

What a concept!!!

Assuming takes the fun out of fantasy.

You do know what the word fantasy means epic novelist, don't you?? No?? Didn't think so. Well here is the definition directly from merriam webster:

Exactly. If she does know what you want to hear, then she'll just tell you whatever that is, regardless of the truth. And if she doesn't know, you might not like the answer you get, and then your fantasy is compromised. Plus, in not keeping with etiquette, you might look like a douche, and no one wants to look like a douche.

Assuming takes the fun out of fantasy.

So since assuming takes the fun out of a stranger's fantasy that is more important than a dancer's right to privacy? That is like a blast from the past when women had no rights.

The guy starts out with the fantasy of having a young chick. Goes to strip club where the women are selling all sorts of fantasy. He sees a young one. All of a sudden he thinks his fantasy can become a reality. So, it is reasonable for him to ask the age.

I do not think it is an issue of strippers' rights. I think we are discussing whether it is reasonable for a guy to ask a stripper's age. I think it is.

No, the thing would be to NOT ask bc it will blow your fantasy. You're not taking the girl home. Her age is irrelevant.

And since we're the ones working, and the ones who are effected we'll make the call. Since you don't go to SCs you shouldn't even be speaking here.

The problem is, the guy thinks his fantasy can become the reality. May be it is a good acting on the part of stripper but the point is he thinks it is viable now. So, at this juncture, he asks the age.

Disclaimer: I am not a big fan of young girls. They annoy me and I feel embarrassed when I get hit on by young girls. So, I have no dog in this fight.

Didn't you know? Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off.

I always lie about my age....so the dancer can keep the fantasy going. I mean for her to know she actually has a chance of taking a hot older man home......well i just dont want to spoil it for her.....::)

Because the dancer is pretending to sell more than a fantasy to the PL; a PL that thinks it is personal will empty his wallet. This is not news.

Point of order; a man in a SC is a douche in the eyes of the dancer. Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose.

Not true. I actually find the majority of men who come into my club very decent. While I'm used to this question and it doesn't bother me as much as it might other dancers, I certainly respect the ones that seem to have a sense of etiquette much more. Of course, many dancers here have told you similar and you seem intent on ignoring it.

And then they guy asks and she says "I'm 27!" Now he's bummed. His fantasy is compromised, and he's ruined what would have been a hot fun time for himself. He could have easily assumed she was 20 and had a great time thinking "wow! I've got this hot naked 20 year old dancing for me, awesome!" lose-lose.

I have never lied about my age. I'll be 34 in one week and I get told over and over that I either "don't look 34" or I'm "the hottest 34 year old they've seen". No need to lie. A lot of guys have a thing for older women.

^^^Totally!

Isn't part of the SC fantasy creating your own ideals about the woman you're dancing with? Forming in your mind all of the small unspoken qualities that you'd like to assume about her, whether true or not? Kinda defeats all of that when you ask the girl about her stats.

But maybe it's just us people who actually GO to stripclubs that understand this concept.

a lot of customers tell me i look underage. I dont look underage, they are just so used to 35 year olds telling them that they're "22" that their idea of what a 22 year old looks like is super skewed. Its actually pretty humiliating for a grown man to tell you you look like a minor in a place where you make your money off of being sexy.

Customers lie to me ALL THE TIME in the SC, about their age, marital status, what they do, etc. I'm not stupid, if a guy acts 80 and looks 80 then he can't say he's in his 60s thinking I'll really believe that. Also apparently every man who walks into the SC is magically "single". So if you guys lie why can't I?? And who really cares? I don't. And neither should you.
