You are entertaining to converse with. Mediocrity too. Although her chosen screen name bothers me...

It's a joke. All of my internet names are a variant of it. It's from a song.

Take me to Greece with you! I am dying to go to Santorini.

Also the mention of cognac is sort of making me want to go buy a bottle of wine. But it's midnight. And I have no friends awake to share.

I might do it anyway though.

Wanna go with me? It can be a girls only trip. ;)

Omg, I almost went to get a bottle earlier myself. I am craving a glass of pinot noir.

It's not from "Homeward Bound" by Simon and Garfunkel, is it?

Will the mods be mad that I basically created a post that we turned into a chat board?

Nah. I am a total oxymoron in real life. There's a song by Fischerspooner that the intro says "hyper mediocrity" and the chorus goes: "Feels good Looks good Sounds good Looks good Feels good too Feels good too(Uh-huh that’s right)"

My friends told me it was my theme song because I said that sometimes I feel like my life is hyper mediocrity, and they lovingly say the chorus describes me.;D

They can easily be removed if it's a problem. I've seen other threads go *poof* quite quickly....

Sorry, didn't mean to go old school on you. The line I was thinking of was "All my words come back to me in shades of mediocrity". First song that made me realize that lyrics could actually be poetry. And I am not as old as that makes me seem.

^And I'm not always as lame as that makes me sound.

Well, I probably couldn't defend that statement in court, but I like my delusions.

^Dylan and James Taylor were the first that made me realize that.

Never did Dylan. Ran into S&G before Taylor. I like them because I can sing them (other than that high-pitched bastard Garfunkel).

WTF. WIZARD SMILEY.

I love it.

Also who is your avatar? Because I keep thinking that must be you. Because that's sort of how I picture you.

I love them as well (Simon and Garfunkel I mean) but I was raised by a hippie so Dylan was a staple in my upbringing.

I am going to regret this tomorrow morning (I'm in CDT). And I have a personal training appointment at 11:00 that is going to be hell. But, you guys are being very cool, and I'll get my chatting out before I get too annoying on the board.

vmurphy252

Depends. Is it good or bad if that's me? Or indifferent, I suppose. Yeah, it's me.

What's really bad is I could have actually worked this evening and billed at $175/hr which I get 10% of above my salary (I make a bit more than $17/hr). But, you guys are too entertaining and I'm too lazy.

The pic itself is actually named the vampire remake (can't remember ther artist name) but I picked it bc she and I actually look eerily similar, except I have very very very light blue eyes. But everything including the hair color and facial structure is almost right on.

I wish I could rock dark hair, I can't. I get told I look like Kate Bosworth a lot. Which I think is sort of weird.

No, I just don't think I look anything like her. Maybe when she wasn't so emaciated looking, like Blue Crush era. But nowadays? Not so much. Plus I have bangs. Which are rocking by the way.

I was blonde for awhile but truthfully the dark hair suits me better and I have embraced the black hair and pale skin lol. Blonde takes too much maintenance bc it's so obvious when my roots grow in. Plus everyone expected me to have this bouncy bubbly personality and I was always like... umm... the hair color changed nothing else.

She has a very classic beauty I think, but I've only ever seen your hair so I can't judge. ;)

Well, after mediocrity's last post comparing her to Kate Bosworth in Blue Crush, the count is 3. And be quiet, you very happily married woman.

I'm actually blonde now, so it's grossly inaccurate. I miss being a redhead but the money is better as a blonde.

I remember right after I changed my hair, I saw Lady Gaga. It was at work and I saw her on the video screen. I turned to my hustle buddy and was like THAT BITCH STOLE MY NEW HAIRSTYLE.

Except you can actually see my face. I cant even tell if Gaga is pretty under that hair. But her lipstick makes her look like an asshole lately.

Sometime I can't express how grateful I am that I am a guy.

I actually don't think I've seen her face yet...

I didn't notice a real change in my money. I might've been a bit more approachable as a blonde though. Sometimes I tone the whole look down a little just so I don't make ppl nervous lol.

From my perspective, I don't think I've ever looked and said "Hey, it's a blond". It's just kinda how everything fits together.

But results may not be typical.
