I am in downtown Chicago. Hard finding a place I feel like I fit in so far. Moved up here from DFW. Any suggestions from the regulars would be greatly appreciated on some SC's to try.

My own plans near term: Ring in the New Year in New Orleans (somewhat familiar grounds), head to Miami for Orange Bowl. Have never clubbed Miami, it should be interesting to see how it compares to the hype, but I'll have not that much time spare so I may not hit many venues.

I'll be Atlanta August 2-4. Planning on the Pony on Buford Hwy one night. Probably make it to Oasis or other club on the north side of the city. Let me know if I should be interested in any place or anyone else.

PS. I think it's ok to revive this thread. :)

You might want to try Follies too.

IMHO each club hound should go to Cheetah in Atlanta at least once. You'll see beautiful, fully nude flesh everywhere, with lighting arrangements designed to ensure that nothing is hidden. And even under revealing lights, each one of the girls looks anywhere from great to fantastic. The place is pure sensory overload and there are so many of them, of all different ethnicities and body types (but all very fit), naked at any point in time on multiple stages as well as on table tops all over the club, that if you do not fall in lust at least a couple of times then you are probably not a red blooded heterosexual male.

Now the place can also be a little gimmicky and there is plenty of "wanna dance" in evidence, but it is really worth seeing despite that stuff. I would never make a night of it there, but the next time I am in Atlanta I'll probably drop back in there for a couple of hours.

hahaha, no disrespect. Thanks for the suggestion, but I lived in Atlanta for 10 years and worked one block from the Cheetah for almost 4 years. My boss and I had a few "tuna melts" at the cheetah at lunch. They knew him by name. The Cheetah is a little bit overdone and touristy in my book. I need a little more sleaze in general. The PP is the same way as the Cheetah, they are clones of each other except that the PP is owned by Girardi family which means the mob is most likely involved with it. I personally wouldn't go there except for:

I drove into town one night, Houston's restaurant in Buckhead was too busy on a Tuesday night, so I since I hadn't been to the PP in 10+ years it entered my mind. As I remembered it, it was clean and had some food. Why not go.It was during that one journey there that I met a dancer that wasn't completely full of s*it.
This girl that works there wasn't looking to empty my bank account. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't show up at the PP. She's the only dancer that has ever given me her home address, invited me to dinner at her place, and said I could stay at her place in her spare bedroom. I think it was BS, but no one else ever made a BS offer like that before.

Someone else suggested Follies. Wow, does anyone remember when Follies was downtown between Spring and West Peachtree, or am I showing my age? My last experience at Follies on Buford a few years ago involved a really hot girl attempting to give me a BBBJ and literally wanting to give me BBFS in the VIP. Amazingly, that was part of her normal routine and she wasn't asking for more money upfront As drunk as I was, thankfully, I had just a few of my wits about me and was able to fend that all. Who knew that you can wrestle with a girl to NOT have sex the VIP. Sex in a cramped club on a couch with no doors and an open VIP area, that's not idea of a great experience. I read in other forums that Follies is the place for sex, bjs, and other assorted things and attracts a rather low end element. I think I'll pass that place by, I'm nervous about getting stabbed or hepititus. I used to like Follies because it was a little sleazy, but it reads like it has gotten a little too sleazy for me ( I didn't know this was possible).

Any girls at Oasis or other northside clubs that read this?

Follies is not quite as sleazy as you read on the other forums. There is a mix of girls and some are more shall we say friendly than others. The guys on those forums tend to focus on the cheapest girls too.

Oasis is a good choice though. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

It has been a while since I've been to Cheetah- ATL. I don't remember it as a wanna dance place at all. If anything, dancers were discouraged from walking around club asking for dances. Maybe things have changed...............................

So, Joe wants a club with some sleaze, but not too much sleaze. Sorry, not a mind reader, no help from me. But since Joe is going there, I have a suggestion for spicing up his visit a little, plus providing a favor for some business travelers. Namely, dash from Terminal C (or whatever one you're arriving at) to airport Marta station :trip: then to stop nearest Cheetah, walk a few blocks to club, take in some shows, and a 30 min. VIP with fave, then catch Marta back to airport. Bottom line question- What would be the minimum layover time between connecting flights one should allow to accomplish all this while still making connecting flight. Inquiring minds want to know................

As I remember, the girls aren't allowed to ask for dances at the cheetah. Guys are supposed to go to them. If that is still the case, it's rather dumb, but they never asked for my opinion.

If you are on Marta from the airport, go north to the 10th street exit. That will put you off about 200 yds from the cheetah.

LOL. I see. I would suggest, then, that you would have been a bit better served in being a little more specific about your historical Atlanta experiences as well as what you are seeking. This would have saved both of us, as well as anyone else who was trying to be helpful, a bit of time.

I agree with your opinion that Cheetah's is a little touristy, which I think that I also mentioned (though I used the word gimmicky). However, for someone who has never seen it, I would maintain that it is worth a stop. And I cannot speak to what the official policy is on requesting lapdances, but I can tell you that I was hit up a few times (whether or not they were supposed to do so).

Now I do know of another Atlanta club that is probably more along the lines of what you are seeking, but given the juvenile way in which you decided to respond to information given to you in good faith, I think that I'll take my ball and go home now... ;)

Rick, I have never hidden that I lived in Atlanta at one time in my life. That's something that has been a part of multiple posts of mine. Admittedly, I'm not sure how much I talked about the 3 hour lunches at the cheetah, dinner, or the late nights I spent there while working 1 block from there.

As for your statement about my juvenile response, I'll make sure that I don't say "thanks" next time. I even added the part about disrespect because people in this forum take things more personally than any place I have ever seen.

LOL Joe. I think that you can universally expect a negative response when you ask for help/advice and, when someone tries to provide it, you begin your response to that advice with "hahaha." I don't exactly hang on your every post, which is why I did not know about your background in Atlanta, but if this is how you normally handle yourself then perhaps the issue is not with the other people who "take things more personally than any place [you] have ever seen." Just some food for thought.

But in the interest of being a good sport, and now that you've been a little more clear in what you are looking for, I'll say that Goldrush is probably more your speed. It is south of downtown and is actually where I spent most of my club time when I was last in Atlanta. It is not quite as off the hook as Follies, but it is a good bit gritier than a place like Cheetah. It also doesn't seem get as packed as Follies (I visited Follies on a weekday night and it was jammed, which I am told is common there at night).

In any event, good luck!

I have no problem with you reviving a thread like this one Joe but if you post an ISO it's common courtesy to post all pertinent info along with it so that other posters don't waste their time. I've been on this board for ten years but I couldn't tell you where the vast majority of other posters are from-especially the other men-who I couldn't care less about. Also, believe it or not, new members join every day and they don't go back and read the entire past posting history of the members here....unless of course they are stalkers...

We don't charge by the word here so if you are looking for a club in Atlanta there's no reason why you can't make the fact that you lived there in the past part of the post as well as any specifics about places you may have already been to or what type of club you are looking for.

The "hahaha" was geared towards the fact that this was a thread started by a dancer asking about people's locations. I assumed it was still that way. Last time I checked, you weren't a dancer. :D It wasn't meant as an offense in anyway.

It's been a long time since I was last at the Goldrush, probably 20 years. I dated a girl that worked there in the early 90s. She always called me while the feature was doing the show at 6:30 pm every evening and we would talk for almost the entire time. She drove from the Lake Lanier area to GR 4-5 times per week. She made something like 2.5x the money over being a school teacher and cheerleading coach in Gwinnett County. I met a ton of girls that were really cool to meet and hang out with. They didn't treat me like a customer, heck I was a student that had zero bucks, and I didn't treat them negatively either, they just had a job that made money. Ultimately, that relationship didn't work out, since it seemed like she was getting sucked into the dark side of dancing. I got drunk one night and shot my mouth off being a dick about something non-dancer related and that was the end of that. We ended up sitting down and talking afterwards and patching things up, but we were headed in different directions. Don't remember talking to her much after that, though I did run into some of her friends.

I don't think I've stepped foot in the Goldrush since the then owner was killed in a burglary at his home where the burglar took nothing but the guy's life. I think it was back in 1993.

Ultimately, the Goldrush is a little bit too far for me. It's a great suggestion and brings back a lot of really good memories from my times at Georgia Tech. https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=alpharetta,+ga&daddr=2608+Metropolitan+Pky+SW,+Atlanta,+Georgia++ +30315&hl=en

Joe, we aren't mind readers here and, I guess, some of us just don't share your sense of irony. In any event. I said I had no problem with you reopening the thread assuming that you wouldn't turn it into a trip down memory lane. Please stick to the original spirit of the thread. If you want to go down any other roads feel free to start a new thread.
