^Because there is no magic club to run to to make money... girls working in the best clubs in the best cities are still not making money..
Well, what I meant really is they have options...as opposed to myself who doesn't. I am can't work at any other club in town because of tattoos (stupid if you ask me)....these girls are not tattooed heavily like me....and cute enough to go elsewhere but they choose to stay at the 2nd shittiest club in town. There are other places to work where the dance prices are higher (they are only $5 there), better managed, and are just as busy.....and have a potential to make at least more then they are making at that hell hole.....an put up with alot less BS.

I went back to a "regular job" and have been doing so for 7 months, I work as a pharmacy technician. Unfortunately it barely pays my bills and leaves little to nothing left for school, meaning loans, which I don't want to go there again or grants. Also, it gets old, don't get me wrong I am happy as heck to have the job, but sometimes I miss dancing. That's why I'm going to put on my 7 in. heels again for 2 days in Myrtle Beach before my vacation ;D!
It helps to know someone that has similar interests as the job you want, or if your in school ask about intern oppurtunities related to your major. You may not get paid, but you'll be more satisfied and dread your job a bit less.
At my "regular" job though they've done away with breaks completely except for the 30 min lunch break. Other than that it's 8 straight hours of people trying to get their drugs and insurance companies trying to not cover them! It's more exhausting than you'd think. It's Florida, it's the fourth most populous state and there are a lot of old people. There is always at least two things to do when you only have time for one!
Wait a sec, I thought OSHA regulations state that on an 8hr shift you are entitled to one half hour without pay, and two fifteens with pay for break.

^it depends on the state. There's no federal law saying breaks are required, according to the FLSA.
For instance, I believe in Florida 30 minutes is required per 8 hour work period, but the other two 15 minute breaks are only required for employees under the age of 18. At least that's how it was 8 years ago when I used to manage a coffee shop.

Damn. In MN it's unpaid 30 and two paid 15s for an 8 hour shift. I thought it was a federal thing:O

The last time I worked I actually regained some hope. Hope in myself, that is. I had made shit all day and there was only 30 minutes left to my shift. I was seriously considering hiding for the last 30 because I was mentally DONE- but I spotted an old fart in a really nice suit, so I figured I'd give it one more try.
I sat down and gave this guy my best. In 20 minutes I made 300 off of him from just chatting topless and I was considering staying longer with him but he was really bugging me to see him OTC and so I just left after my shift ended... But damnit that's the way it should be! Looking back on it I would have stayed a lilttle longer just because I have no clue when an actual GUY WITH MONEY!!! will come into my club again lol ::)
I'm hoping that was a good omen of things to come but I'm not counting on it lol.
