Excellent as that is what PLs have.

Mmmmm... I'm always willing to try something new. I am very open-minded, professional, well spoken and laid back....too bad most of the time I don't get that kind of treatment in return, especially from the big "mega clubs".... like "Dream Girls" sounds to be if it were real.
Don't even get me started on my experience trying to find a place to work in Vegas, cause of tattoos!!!! That's all they cared about. Never mind the fact that I work out 5 days a week, killer abs/ass/legs and don't have a stitch of cellulite, a scar, a flaw on my body. Never mind the fact I rock the "tattooed" look well and have exceptional makeup skills and can rock a wig to where no one can tell it's fake......Never mind all of that. I could put a gown and rhinestone choker on and make it work. All they could see was "tattooed girl" I would get "shooed" away and treated like a 2nd class citizen by management.....told things like "I hope you aren't here for a job!! (laugh laugh)"
If the place was in my town right now, and you were willing to hire me, then definitely yes. I am out of options for clubs in my town, and even though I am now "regularly" employed, I am only making $7.50 an hour and would like to have somewhere to dance on the side.
I am completely confounded by the fact that there is a lack of desire on the part of both PLs and strippers to look for better customer service and place of employment respectively.
It seems like there are very few strippers who understand that club owners under current business model are exploiting them. They seem to be enjoying spiritual satisfaction by exercising hostile overtures towards PLs. But the problem is this is a material business and they should be thinking in terms of material loss and gain.
I am glad to see this degree of clarity in thinking by you.

When there is a REAL club with REAL management that actually has a REAL clue on how to properly run a club, than I think attitudes would REALLY change. ;)

So, if we all participate in this thread, Dream Girls will become reality! Sing it everybody:
"Think of Christmas, think of snow Think of sleighbells here we go! Like reindeer in the sky! We can fly! We can fly! We can fly!
Oh shit - there's never any fucking pixie dust around when you need it...
Cyril, there're a couple of major flaws in your even playing with this "I'm trying to better the situation for everybody, why won't you play along" attitude.
Namely, the fact that your business model, were it to somehow come to be, is HOPELESSLY FLAWED.
Secondly, the fact that even if it weren't, IT'S BEYOND HYPOTHETICAL - it's an ego trip for a guy on a vb board who doesn't have the first clue about A. - business in general, and B. - the strip club industry in specific.
In other words - even it it were to happen, it wouldn't happen as you have outlined it, and it wouldn't be you outlining it.
And all that somehow translates into people who don't play along being unwilling to better their respective situation?
Drugs, therapy, SOMETHING - SOMEBODY get this guys head straight; PLEASE...

Dude. Get a grip. I am serious. This is a bulletin board.
None of your claims seem credible because there is serious disconnect between your tall claims and the quality of your posts. I do not like to engage in this kind of exchange. So, either contribute or stay out of this thread. You are simply engaging in baiting.

I honestly don't think it's baiting.
Cyril, when you have a large number of people who all disagree with you about something, then that's a good sign that 1) you're being defensive and 2) you've likely missed something (or you're wrong).
It seems like everyone who has participated in this thread feels that you lack any kind of perspective that would be helpful in both the strip club world and the business world...and it doesn't help that you're only accepting positive feedback (negative feedback is the most helpful, after all).
I'm not trying to insult you; my point is merely that AlmostJaded isn't a minority opinion at this point.

If that really made any sense then I have a news announcement:
Seems Dream Girls has been more or less put of business just barely after opening. The word is that while Dream Girls was the biggest new mega-club in the world, attracting high roller customers from everywhere, only days after opening an even bigger and better imaginary club was opened called Dreamier Girls, essentially drawing off all of Dream Girls high roller customers.
The story is that as cool as the helicopter rides were, customers found the copters to be noisy as compared with Dreamier Girls full outfitted plus private jets, and private beverage service poured by topless stewardesses.
In addition, the novelty of sharks with lasers attracted a whole new previously untapped market of customers.
But no fretting. You might be able to re-lease the building to a home supply chain. Next time what I recommend is a bigger imaginary budget. This is where Dream Girls failed, and Dreamier Girls succeeded. As long as one is printing imaginary money in one's head, apparently the trick is to print endless amounts of it vs trying to sort-of-kind-of pretend that make believe funds are real.

THIS THREAD IS BAITING - your presence on these forums in baiting - your every ignorant post is baiting.
And yet you constantly accuse me of baiting, and of ignorance.
What tall claims do you wish to attack? I've no need to live a fantasy life (oops - soft spot, I know) on a Vb board. I've claimed nothing that isn't true. So let's play it like that, shall we? I'll spell out in detail that which I'm comfortable, and you can measure my claims against it. Then you do likewise, eh? Maybe that'll set this straight. Instead of "baiting" and both sides backing out, I'll go ahead right now. When you refuse to respond in kind, that fact will haunt every thread you participate in henceforth, because every time you attempt to disprove someones claims or call them ignorant, I'll repost this little exchange. M'kay?
I'm the oldest child of a large family. My father comes from fairly humble background but went on to obtain both a law degree (he's also a sometime law professor at a prominent university), working for the government for many years. My mother is the daughter of a VERY prominent public figure about whom I will divulge very little as it would be VERY easy to identify him from very little. Suffice it to say he was a household name for two generations, and was known internationally in a pretty big way. My mother has a masters degree and is a published author of several lessor known works, and a very well established editor in certain academic circles. My family is VERY political, and not very interested in their money; my grandfather was wealthy but saw no point in wealth for its own sake and didn't go to the lengths that Jacks clients do to protect it. When my grandmother dies, the pie is a lot smaller than it could be and won't go very far as it's a large family. However all the social advantages were and are certainly there, and I've met many an established business (empire) owner, celebrity, congress person, and Presidents - and their international equivalents - over the years, and many of these people are close family friends. Does that clear up any claims in Commanders "class" thread?
During the early years we lived in the greater DC area, up until my early teens.
My family moved to a rocky mountain state where I lived until I moved out, where later my father pursued a sciences degree that I'll not divulge as it's very specialized (only 7 or 8 people in the world have his combination of degrees), and my mother continued her work and raising a large family. We've been middle class or upper middle class most of my life, I went to public schools with a brief stint in a private one. Both of my parents are very academically minded, and were deeply upset that I never pursued any of the opportunities they laid out before me - including the fast track physics doctorate mentioned in another thread. Between her editing, his teaching, and the family friends, there are a LOT of connections to a LOT of things.
Other family members in the aunt and uncle department are law firm partners, successful entrepreneurs, realtors, teachers, and more.
I personally hated school. I have certain disabilities that make traditional school very difficult - despite off the charts test scores and a very high IQ, my GPA was always dismal. I still managed to land a full scholarship to a very good school - based of all things on the strength of my GED scores, lol. I registered and cut out before the cutoff date several times, as I still struggled in a classroom environment. I went into sales and dabbled in other fields for years. During those years of sometimes great money and sometimes broke, I was quite the playboy, developed a taste for strip clubs, and partied a lot. Over the years I've got to know a lot of people in th ebiz, dated several dancers and girls in other positions in the industry, etc. So you know where THOSE claims come from. I also am a VERY good social engineer, and make a point to maintain contacts made over the years. Being a car guy, working in high end car audio and home theater for years, I met a lot of successful people, befriended a number of them, and have stayed in touch. And I pay attention when I'm around them in business settings, something I've done since I was 11. You can learn a LOT that way.
My now business partner was a friend of mine met at one of those jobs. We used to sit and talk about businesses we wanted to start, researched many of them, wrote business plans, and looked for funding. Our credit scores were both horrid; his from a divorce, mine from identity theft, and this challenge made the others that everyone faces that much bigger. Then HIS grandfather, who was far wealthier though lesser known than my own, passed away. My friend had no idea that he had any inheritance coming; his grandfather had a spat with his dad when he was young and he'd been cut off from the family for the most part for years. One day almost a year after the funeral, he got a call asking if he had a brokerage account to transfer "these assets to", and found out he'd been left just over $1 million that he had no idea was coming. Had he got it 60 days earlier it would have been closer to $3m, but this was just after the crash and them's the breaks.
So he calls me and says "quit [x job], you work for me now, we're going to open those businesses that we always talked about". I got a good chunk of the company because he was kind and gave it to me in acknowledgment that many of the ideas we're implementing were mine. We're now about a year into it and doing quite well thank you. So ther's where THOSE claims come from.
So there you have it - a very brief synopsis of where I'm coming from. Some of the details that would shed light on one particular subject or another are left out for time and space and because if I wanted to paint a bright green arrow to my identity I'd just post by my full name. But I think that's quite enough for now.
Your turn.
