It must make some of you men feel very powerful to be able to reject beautiful women whom in real life you would have absolutely no chance of seeing naked. Sorry I didn't read most of the replies so I might be repeating some stuff.
Anyways I'm gonna flip out if I hear "maybe later" again when I get back to dancing next month. It's the most annoying thing to hear ever and makes me feel semi violent. Just say no, you don't even have to say no thanks. I don't know you and you don't know me so my feelings are not going to be hurt or anything. And don't waste half an hour of my time listening to you chatter off and then say maybe later.

If you are talking to me, it doesn't make me feel powerful at all, it's usually an uncomfortable feeling to reject someone no matter what they look like. But so many of the dancers in the clubs these days aren't anything near being beautiful, either.
I have seen some ugly fucking guys trying to play the picky stud in the clubs, though, it's always funny in a sort of pathetic way.
I haven't read the whole thread either, just the first and last few pages, maybe I missed something.
I shouldn't be here anyway maybe, I'm not really a customer and haven't been one for ten years. Though I do spend a lot of money in the other stripclubs in town on my nights off, it's not for dances which is the focus usually, and certainly of this thread.

Sometimes maybe later means just that.... MAYBE LATER!!! Id rather say that than "sure I'll get one later" and then change my mind or say "no I dont want one".. and then change my mind.. I just say maybe later.. Now when I go to the club its to see 2 girls and the others I just kinda go with the flow. If I have time (or money) I might get a dance with them or I might not..

Likely there are some guys who are enjoying the reverse rejection.
I'd agree many of us feel bad to some degree having to say no as it is all too easy to take it personally given the context, it is not just no to an inanimate product or neutral service, but...
SCs are expensive. At $20 every 3 minutes plus tips and cover, etc., a person who can blow through several days worth of work and savings in an hour. At rates that exceed what most lawyers make per hour they get to be somewhat picky about who they spend it on, as long as they are spending, taking some time to decide is reasonable.
You can't be everything to everyone. Sometimes you can change a guys mind, but we all have fetishes, things we look for first. Changing our mind can happen but the cards are stacked against it.
I agree. Honestly most dancers I wouldn't complain about their looks if it worked out we connected outside the club, but inside when paying, many clubs are just filled with women who look more or less the same as average women we see walking around malls and in bikinis at beaches. It's fine, but many of us would be lying if we said we think all dancers are OMFG WOW. Some are for sure, but even then, try to get everyone to agree which ones. We all have our preferences.

To me, strippers are the most beautiful creation of nature. Everything about them is like a poetry written by the universe.

^^^even though you never go to strip clubs. How on Earth did you manage to get to know so many of us that you can say you love us as an entire group? More likely you just fetishize the idea of strippers. Do you have even one stripper friend/aquaintance/lover in your life that you've actually gotten to know and can say you actively love?

Don't know what to tell you. A lot of us love beautiful women. We enjoy occasionally going to a SC for some entertainment. We don't idolize all strippers though just because they are strippers. Good stuff, fun times, some on occasion do make me go WOW OMFG even. Maybe if you went to a SC now and then your idolized view of it would become more tempered by reality?

I think he thinks it's flattering. It's really more offensive though, when someone reduces you to your job, especially when they don't even bother to really know what a stripper is.

No. He doesn't go to SC's. Doesn't know any strippers IRL bc it would fuck up his social standing too much to even know us or be seen with us. On top of being married to a woman that doesn't give him any bc she's not into sex.
LoL. Anyone else having trouble following his story line? I think he's told so many lies at this point he doesn't even know what he's saying anymore. ::)

As has been said, if you say maybe later and mean it that's fine and it's not this issue that's being discussed in this thread.

I have used no thank you several times with certain dancers. Most of them do get the clue. but theres always one in the bunch that just doesn't get what that means. I recently had one dancer just kept bugging me constantly over an hour. I politely said no thank you. but still she just didn't understand what that meant. I grabbed one of my favorites that I know personally outside of the club. I knew her from when I worked at an adult store and went back to have a private with her. then I came out and there she was again asking me. I politely said no thank you again, and again and again. etc, etc. etc. It just got to the point were I looked at one of the dancers and she came over and told her that no thank you means don't bother him again and that I qoute 'DO you need to be drawn a flake chart?' He isn't interested and never will be. I felt bad but no means no.

You have trouble following anything which runs over a line. Your inability to follow a story line does not make it a lie. It just simply means your brain needs more exercise. Just an FYI. Pomegranate juice is very good for the brain.

if a customer says he doesn't want a dance before i even talk to him, i'm slightly irritated because i wasn't coming to ask him for a dance anyway! sometimes i just wanna chat and have a drink and see where things go.
I hate that! I always say, "Uh, I was just going to say, 'hello'. Rude much?" ::)

The only line that really bugs me is "I'm good"! My response is usually something like "me too, how funny!"

I wish customers who don't want dances from ANY of the girls and aren't tipping either would go to a regular bar and stop being cheap asses watching the 'free' stage show.
HELL TO THE YES!~! At the last club I worked in, the d.j. was awesome and would say, "These girls don't work for free. If you guys are too cheap to take care of these lovely ladies who are working hard for you, we'll close down early tonight. Oh and another thing....YOU ARE GAY." :D

You must not drink very much then bc you can't understand anything beyond what's intended for a 3rd grader (and that's probably giving you waaay too much credit). Keep going though. Your stupidity amuses me.

It's just as flattering as those guys who want to date "a stripper." Yep, yanno, just any one of us, doesn't matter which really...cause we're all interchangeable with identical personalities and stuff...We just have different hair and eye colors to cater to different customer preferences.
I can tell too; if she pulls my penis out and oils it up and pumps away I won't stop her.:cloud9:
Everytime you post I want to stab you with a stiletto. Why the hell do you want to present the most negative possible image of yourself on this forum? You can't possibly be this disgusting irl.

Just shut up. You have passed my limit for politeness in the face of annoying behavior. I tried to be nice for a while and just ignore you, because I thought you were just naive, but even after being ask to modify your behavior, you just keep being a prick. It's almost worse than EtP, because at least he's so out there with his crap it's obvious he's just doing it for attention.

I actually find a lot of cyrils posts to be completely hilarious. Have you ever listened to any of Ricky Gervais' podcasts? They have this dude on the show that is totally weird and detached from reality. He's always talking about the time he saw a bumblebee have a heart attack or how old people shouldn't use the internet because "they should be spending their time adjusting to life as an old person." or how museums have too many dinosaurs and they should just pick the best one. It's hilarious, and cyril reminds me of him.

I have an etiquette questions/clarification.
The other night I visited the Hawaii Theater in City of Industry. I haven't been to a club in 10 years. I went there with the intent of getting a lap dance. I wasn't planning to stay long. After a few minutes of sitting on the rail (I was tipping), one of the girls sat down next to me and the waitress asked if I'd like to buy her a drink. I did and ended up getting a lap dance. I had no complaints.
I may go back again one day. I'll only want to spend about 30 minutes there. But I'd like to get a better look at what girls are there before I choose one for a lap dance or possible VIP room.
When the girl and waitress come to me next time, I should just say "no thank you" if I'm not interested in her?

^^ yes i wish more guys could learn how to say "no thank you" or "i just walked in the door, could you come back when i've had a chance to breathe" and not just take the first girl that comes up to them.
sorry, getting irritated with the vultures at my club.

What makes them vultures? Leading you on that they might want something later when in fact they don't?
I think she meant the girls that rudely jump right on a guy the moment he walks in the door, not giving the other girls a chance.

yes and it hurts the club too as guys will be less likely to come back if they can't even have a drink before a girl is on their lap pressuring him to take her to the VIP. and if he's not a little choosy, he'll be less likely to come back because he didn't have as great of a time as he could have had. so yes, because of this i think a guy saying "maybe later" to some of the girls that first approach him is a good idea.

I NEVER do this. When I see a guy walk in, even if I instantly see dollar signs I give him a few min to settle in. He will undoubtedly say no to that first girl that jumps on him like that.

Me too. Or if I didn't see them come in, and they're on their first drink, I will usually say "Oh, beer number one huh? Cool. I'll come hassle you in a little bit, ok?;D"
or sometimes, if they're lagging: "I'm just as cute when you're sober you know!" with a big grin.
I hated that at SR girls waited in droves by the door. It's like fuck man, let the dude window shop for a minute.
I HATE the girls that jump on guys!
