lash blast is the best drugstore mascara I've ever used.... Like EVER. Only buy the orange tube; the others are junk. The only problem with it, is that it needs to be replaced after 3 weeks because it starts clumping then. But a fresh tube works great. I'm trying to decide whether its worth it to keep spending 10bux every 3 weeks, or if I should start using lancome definacils again.

Replacing it every three weeks is actually a good thing. At least their product kind of makes you do it. It is reccomended to replace mascara after 3-4 weeks. For bacteria reasons. Don't want that in your eyes!! ^_^

yeah, you're right. Its just a pain in the ass. Maybe I'll start buying two at a time then.

The entire Loreal EverPure sulfate free hair care line - don't waste a cent of your hard earned money on this crap!

why don't you like this product? I bought it, thought it made my hair look good. Well, my color did fade the same as using any other product, I guess. :-\

Citre'Shine, shampoo and conditioner. My hair looked REALLY greasy by the end of the day, and the next day looked even worse!

Do not use any of oil of olay skin products, they will break your face all out. Pantene products are not good to use, pretty much anything that's not natural is not good to use. I've used everything and I can tell u as far as my hair all natural products is what I use and I can see a huge difference. As far as my face, I use all oil free products because I can get extremely oily. I use a very light face wash to prevent blemishes and I buy it from Sephora. I use a Bobby Brown scrub and that's about it.

Don't use any of MAC face products. Trust me they are horrible. Someone will tell you it works miracles for them but that's not the case especially for people with sensitive skin.:)

the "texture" of the shampoos was weird. I already use sulfate free shampoo/conditioner, but this stuff was nasty. IMO.

Really? I've tried their moisturizer a few times (my ex used to have it) and it made my skin (which is super sensitive) look wonderful.

Oh yes, I've tried all of MAC's facial products and makeups for a long time and nothing works for me. Even their blushes make little rashes on my cheeks. I tried their scrubs and facial washes and the result was not good. I immediately broke out in hives! all over my face. It's always better to buy your facial products from a company that specializes mainly in that one type of product, such as a cleanser. I can only use a certain kind that's made specifically for oily sensitive skin. I've tried so much stuff on my face til it's ridiculous, I used to go to 2 different estiticians. So I know what will and won't work on my face.

Not me, I wear Sue Devitt. It's an all natural oil free powder and it's really good. It actually covers any blemishes without putting on foundation because that's something I don't wear is foundation.:)

Same here... Though, I haven't used any of their cleansers, MAC is one of the few companies whose make-up doesn't effect my skin negatively.

Spyder, I totally agree. Although, I have not had an eye infection from The L'Oreal telescopic mascara, I think it is a huge waste of money. It looks terrible on and gives me that spiderlash, Tammy Faye Bakker look. Yuck!

John Frieda Luminous Color Glaze Clear Shine Color Glosser and Shine Booster.... I bought it because my hair color was looking a little dull. It dried the shit out of my hair and I could barely comb through it when I got out of the shower, even after using conditioner! My hair looked no different afterwards. I will just stick with my shine serums... a lot easier!

Covergirl makeup in general, it just feels dirty and clogs my pores..when i go drugstore makeup its neutrogena minerals all the way. Mac face and body but i dont use it on my face only body. Deja Vu made an under make up serum for oily skin that worked well but cost a pretty penny. It gave me a nice even matte finish for at least 8 hrs and my face is like an exxon valdez spill every day :-[ Neutogena makes a facial moisturizer in a white bottle for combination skin that works for me...more successful on the oily part than the dried out part of my face. u can always solve that by using a more heavy duty moisturizer while you sleep.

Mac Mineralize SkinFinish makes me break out a little. Clean and Clear blackhead clearing scrub used to work so well, now it does nothing. I do use their moisturizer tho. Victoria's Secret body lotions suck! They smell good but are not moisturizing at all. Some are kinda watery.

anything from garnier, whether it be for your hair or your face. That stuff is absolute garbage, especially if you have chemically treated hair. Same goes for herbal essences, and pantene.

Hmmm I've been wearing MAC for years. Since senior year of high school actually. I think who ever created that line is a genius. I don't break out. I've never really had a problem with my skin nor have I had a problem with their products breaking me out. Their foundations, powders, lipgloss, lipsticks, mosturizers are perfect for my skin.

Covergirl foundations are crap! I used it once and my face was soo greasy! :(

Believe it or not La Mer. The cleanser and toner dried my skin out and then the moisturizer made me somehow have greasy yet dry skin.

I also was not impressed with the La Mer lotion, despite all the raves about it. It was too greasy for my skin, and I do not have oily skin.

I thought Lash Stilletto also did not live up to it's hype.

You probably don't have sensitive skin. My skin is very prone to rashes and breakouts if I use products with the wrong things in them. Well, I don't know about covergirl because I don't wear their makeup and I don't wear foundation at all. The powder I use is all natural from Sue Devitt and I buy it at Sephora or Ulta. IT works perfect for my skin. The only thing I still buy from Mac is their shadows and liners but no powders nor facial products.

You're right about that, VS lotions don't work at all. I can't do Mac at all. You need to try MURAD face cleanser products from Sephora. Girl they work really well. I use their whole lline to keep my face ultra clean and I tell you I don't have any breakouts from being really oily and if I use something that breaks me out, It clears it up right away.

Thanx Anacol, I'm going to try the MURAD. My face is breaking out so bad for some reason! And I'm usually very oily, so hopefully this helps! Although right now, I guess because of the weather, I have a lot of dry patches all over. My skin just looks so dull.

You may need to try moisturizing your face at night and once a day. You can also try a moisturizing face mask with a steamy towel over it to give you some moisture. But make sure you use all oil free products if you have oily skin and yes, try the MURAD products, they are very good with breakouts and they actually keep them from coming back. Just use it about 2 times a day. It's really good, you'll notice a huge difference in a week. Let me know what happens, good luck.:)

I have no idea how Zoom Lash works, because it isn't a fancy brush or anything, but you put it on and BAM your eye lashes are 3x longer. It's crazy. But I've been using this mascara for 6 years and I don't know why I waste my money trying other crap out.

Lamer has never been the same since estee lauder bought it. I had samples years ago and I liked it so I bought a jar last year, I ended up returning it. I dont even use the free sample bag I recieved with the purchase and there are a ton of products in it.

Just like they ruined MAC! What was once a great professional quality line is now cheap mass consuption quality garbage.

I couldn't agree with you more. Mac is not a good product to use and I've had bad outcomes with their makeup and facial products such as that volcanic blk scrub that's suppose to work and clear up black heads, close pores, etc. That crap gave me hives all over my face, I immediately took it back. I'll never use their products, not even blushes because I noticed if I use them, I get a little rash right on my cheeks where I put it. I wouldn't recommend any one with sensitive skin to use MAC! And it's not oil free, they'll tell you it is, but it really isn't.

Yes, that stuff was bad! I they think they have too much in their makeup also. I only use a pressed powder by Sue Devitt and Murad facial products for cleansing my skin and those work perfect. Sue Devitt makeup is oil free and fragrance free. It's very good I love it and it doesn't get oily and doesn't break my face out. I'll prob stick with those products for the rest of my life! lol.

I remember you posting about Sue Devitt a long time ago, I actually went and tried it at Barney's here in Dallas. It seems like it would be ideal for sensitive skin, since it's all natural with the seaweed and things. I could seriously smear Crisco all over my face and still not break out, I am one of the lucky ones. I do hate the MAC liquid foundations though, I just feel like I'm putting toxic waste on my face, they're so greasy, perfumed, and and I'm sure chock full of parabens and what not.

I remember we had a conversation with products before! You're prob right, MAC has a lot of things in their makeup. Eventually the things that are used on peoples skin now will show up in the long run, that's why it's always good to know what you're putting on your skin and inside your body. If it's all good, then it'll come out good in the long run, if not then you'll have a big problem in the future. I try to do less as possible to my skin. I don't wear anything if I'm not going anywhere extremely important. I know a lot of people that use Sue Devitt products and they all love them. :)

Neutrogena Lip Boost - intense moisture therapy

I picked it up because I was out of my normal mint gloss and needed something... and the packaging claimed it was minty and helped make your lips appear fuller.
I've tried a few things like this before with pleasing results... so I gave it a go.

A. There is nothing mint about it.
B. It made my lips dry and chapped
C. It made my lips look crappy and thin (like I should go make out with Glenn Close*) instead of full.

The entire Too Faced line is average product wrapped up in cutesy packaging sold at above-average prices.

A lot of the cosmetics lines sold at Sephora are like that.. I just don't really see the quality that i'm supposedly paying for. I'm talking about lines like Benefit, Tarte, Hard Candy, Cargo etc. On the other hand I love Nars, Bare Escentuals, Dior, Anastasia Beverly Hills and the other higher end lines they sell.

There's a lot of talk about how horrible M.A.C. makeup is for your skin, and I agree that people with sensitive skin might have problems, but I believe they have re-formulated a lot of their foundations. M.A.C. used to be more of stage makeup company used in runway shows and photo shoots, not meant to be worn all day. Formulas like the Studio Fix Fluid have been drastically improved and modified for everyday wear.

I started using M.A.C. foundation because they have such a GREAT color selection for ethnic skin. You really can't beat the range of shades and undertones they have. And surprisingly, ever since I started using the Studio Fix Fluid my skin stopped breaking out! Strange, since it's supposed to be bad for your skin. I might start using it only for work though and switch to something more natural for day.

Dove 'Essential Nutrients Moisturising Lotion for sensitive skin....it brought me out in red blotches!

Oh...and MAC cosmetics - you need a plasterer's trowel to put them on - and Maybelline mascara - like concrete........and L'Oreal's Collagen fillers.....and their Revitalift Pro-retinol A anti-ageing creams....what a scam!!

There's been more over the years...I'll think of them I'm sure..

I am a Sephora whore, and I agree about Too Faced, they do have one good product though, it's an eyelid primer for shadows, I actually like it. Everything else though.... not so much. Also, I don't know if ya'll knew this, but I heard they now sell Hard Candy brand makeup at Walmart of all places! Can you believe that???

There's been so many -

- Everything by Neutrogena.....dries out my skin, irritates my eyes and smells gross.
- Napolean Perdis foundation.....it's basically a greasy tinted moisturiser, that they call "foundation" and then over-charge you for it.
- Clinique lip-gloss.......it's gooey, tacky stuff.
- Napolean Perdis primer......does nothing.
- Loreal eyeshadows/blushes/anything.....doesn't have decent colour pigment, so it looks faded

My Lash Blast just started drying out, and I was getting bored with it. I'm gonna give this one a try! I love drugstore mascara, it's one of those things that doesn't really last long enough to justify spending $20+ per tube.
