My Lash Blast just started drying out, and I was getting bored with it. I'm gonna give this one a try! I love drugstore mascara, it's one of those things that doesn't really last long enough to justify spending $20+ per tube.
Mascara should be changed every 3 months whether you use it or not.
It's fact that the eyelashes carry by far the largest number of bacteria anywhere on the Human body - and it transfers into the bottle on the brush......hence the mascara going thick and tacky.
It's not harmful bacteria though......just thought you'd better know that part!;)
I tried to like Lash Blast, but it seemed too waxy, like it wouldn't completely dry. Maybe I bought a bad tube. I love love love the Telescopic mascara though! I also cannot justify spending more than 20 bucks on mascara, especially when I wear fake lashes.

Surely it's even more important with fake lashes as the synthetic materials used for them don't 'take' cheaper mascara's as well as real lashes? I wear fake lashes a lot - and use Lancome which is hardly an 'economy' Brand!

Don't use any of MAC face products. Trust me they are horrible. Someone will tell you it works miracles for them but that's not the case especially for people with sensitive skin.:)
Studio Fix is ok in moderation. Its the studio tech that sucked for me!

The Smashbox cream liner (NOT their waterproof). It gets old really really quickly and won't stay put.
Murad's Acne Spot Treatment. Doesn't do diddly squat.

Almay's blending foundation/concealer. It doesn't match my skin tone at all and leave huge clumps/flakes.
Ulta's generic brand. Got their box set for Xmas once... it's basically like play makeup with no tint whatsoever.
Theirry Mugler smells like Lysol. One of his fragrances anyway.
The last pair of eyelashes I bought. Couldn't tell I was wearing them.
Cover Girl powder, eye shadow, whatever. Anything they make.
Some of the mineral eyeshadows I've bought over the years. Most of them make a huge mess because they are loose, and the ones I've bought flake off and leave dark circles under my eyes.
I actually love most of everything that MAC puts out, but their foundation goes bad quickly.
Clean and Clear morning facial scrub. Does nothing for my skin.

Those 4 color eye shadows by maybelline are awful. They are new and I was roped in my a magazine display ( current mags show big ads with BIG blue / purple eye makeup ) . The product doesn't stay well and the packaging is worse. It's clumsy to open and mine is broken up after two uses. They are like $9, so it's a cheap product and I should have known. They suck.
On the Mac foundation ..... I swear sometimes I think it causes skin problems, but I can't prove it does ( may just be dancing again + smoke since we aren't smokeless yet ) .
I'm buying the Loreal Telescopic after all the good reviews.

I pretty much hate everything Rimmel makes. Even the Sexy Curves mascara which I REALLY wanted to love.
for the most part i agree. but. their bronzer is awesome. it's hard to find a bronzer that is relatively inexpensive, has a good color, and isn't shimmery. of the drugstore brands, i think their bronzer is the very best. in a club, you can't tell the difference between this and the pricey stuff anyways.
i don't like using foundation. a little concealer, plus bronzer to even out my complexion and i'm all set.

The NYC nail polish. It's so watery i had to use like 5 coats just to see the color. I use the milani nail polish instead. About the same price and wayyy better

It's weird, I don't like Lash Blast in general. The only one that works for me is the non-waterproof Black version. I think that's the one I like... Each one seems to have a slightly different consistency. Bizarre. But the one I do like, I love.

No joke, Proactive. Didn't do anything for me. I still have pretty much full bottles of it packed away somewhere.
That stuff was so shitty.
Tarte mascaras all SUCK!!!

Waxing strips: Parissa (voted best in Allure) & Sally's. Parissa was a little better, but still didn't get all the hair, & mine isn't all that coarse.
Anastasia (high end brow products) lift mascara, got a free sample, so glad I didn't fork over 22.00 for this flakey crap.
Bodyography waterproof mascara (never heard of it either, got a free sample) supposed to have a 'cult' following, bleh.

MakeUp Forever Mist Fix makeup spay. Supposedly keeps your makeup sealed on your face ALL day, through sweat and rain, etc. I don't notice my makeup staying put any better with this stuff, and I think it was $30 for a bottle at Sephora's. Boo!

Is that the one that adds two cup sizes? It only seemed to add one on me, making my large b a large c instead of a d.

Garnier's new line of hairsprays. I got the one for Sleek & Shine max hold, and it definitely doesn't hold.

^ Second this. Also, kinda made my hair look greasy (instead of sleek).

Ulta eye shadow primer compact > makes your color crease worse because it builds up with it
Maybelline XXL waterproof mascara > It does give mad length but it clumps and you get dark circles that are imposable to wipe away because they are waterproof :(
Sally Hanson Lip Plumping Glass > Amazing shine but it clumps in the corners so bad after like 30 minutes
Might just be me but Nair doesn't do crap for me. It burns like crap and i still have tons of hair left on my legs. >:(

Ok, ladies who use and love that Sally Hansen Airbrush leg stuff.......
(instead of making a new thread i figure i'd ask here)
It says "water-proof" and all...... Just how water proof is it???? Think it would stay on taking a dip in a pool or lightly walking along the ocean??? Or will it come off in a sea of tan swirl?
I just got it for vacation this Saturday, gave it a run through today & i love it. My legs look great (even a nice hint of tan) and believe me they are my biggest insecurities (red bumps, big pores, etc.). I just hope when i wear it to the beach it'll stay put with the spritz of ocean and ankle deep trudging (i dont go in, im afraid). My legs hate ocean water and get super inflamed so this would be nice if it held on. Whatta think??
(sorry if this is considered a thread jack....)

I think it would be ok. Some of it may come off, but most of it should stay. You have to scrub a little for it to come off.

I sold a brand new kit for 50.00 on ebay! Never tried brow stuff, but their lash lift mascara sucks!;)
