The answer to your question is completely individual. I remember a customer telling me, "You'll want to stop dancing at 30 so you can retire at the top of your game."
I'm in my thirties now, and I won't lie. I have invested a lot in myself and am a health nut, but I look more beautiful today than I ever did. It shocks people who knew me years ago. Maybe it's a curse because it means I can't NOT dance right now. haha. There's still a lot of money to be made.
No matter what though, get another career going so you never feel stuck. I think this profession is crushing if it's one you feel trapped in.
