Everything she does in her videos says something. Read some of her interviews or watch them. They are out there on the net somewhere. She directs all her videos and makes all her own music. She doesn't do the outrageous things ffor fun, she does them for an extremely good reason. Bad Romance has an underlying sense of Human Trafficing, because its a sad thing and it swrong...Bad Romance... o.0. There is reason for these outrageous stunts she does. She is very creative. And She isn't making fun of or mocking anyone that is cripple, that too has a meaning. :)

She can say that's she's taking a stand against violence, but none of her videos show any CONSEQUENCES for violence. The perpetrators get away with it. Unless there's a consequence clearly shown, the only thing kids/teens are going to see is the violence, not the repercussions.

I used to be all about horror/gore type movies like Battle Royale and Cannibal Holocaust...the kind of movie where it was almost a badge of honor if you could sit through them...but after being a target of violence myself, and working in the industry I work in, I can't stand to look at it, and I refuse to be a part of it. It's just really sad that violence is used as a form of entertainment.

^ Exactly. People get away with violence in many of her videos. This says something about our culture, yes?

Seriously, this article is great:

Because she is going to the root of the problem and exposing it...pointing out that people are getting away with things like that makes it stand out to people. People have to pay more attention in their own lives when things like this are happening. It's not like she is glorifying it and saying that "Hey, its okay to throw someone off a wall, no one cares!"

She really puts thought into what she does.

I'm sorry you may have gone through some hard times in your life and that they cause you to feel as you do. But those types of feelings shouldn't lead one to think that she is a bad person. Unless one knows her personally.

I think Lady Gaga is just brilliant....and I'm well into my 40's!!;D

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (what a fabulous name!) is precociously talented and was already playing piano at the age of 4!! She has had Classical Music and Songwriting training at the prestigious New York University Tisch School of The Arts as well. I personally rate her as one of the most original and exciting performers to emerge in the last 20 years. She is also quite beautiful......

Lady Gaga walked off with a whole clutch of top Awards at 'The Brits' on Tuesday night - 'Best International Break-through Act', 'Best International Female Solo Artist' and 'Best International Album'.

Not bad for a girl who wasn't nominated for anything last year!:)

I Love Lady GaGa's style and show(wo)manship. I however find her vidoes to be esoteric, and some of the things she does in general, but as this forum is all about how much people love here, that's all I'll say.

There is something so delightfully queer about her, and the fetishism in her brilliant costuming. I love dancing to Bad Romance too.

I absolutely love Lady Gaga. I used to find her annoying because my young sister would listen to her music (on KISS FM) and I thought it was just meaningless generic pop music. Then I saw the Bad Romance music video when it first came out and fell in LOVE. I then looked up all of her other music videos and I was so impressed. Although I do find her 'day-to-day' outfits a little ughhhh. She's proven her artistic and creative abilities/skills, so does she seriously have to wear a horrendous kermit frog outfit for an interview to make a "statement"? Besides that, I adore her. Can't wait to see more of her.

ok joyount... who are you really? None of your posts make sense on here and I personally think you are making a complete mockery of this site...and I'm so offended by that....
are you just trying to sell your stupid ass Talking Dirty book? If you are then just say so and we'll all be cool with that, but if you're just some dude, AKA Duncan Roberts...trying to play off like you're some chick writing about posts that make no sense...c'mon get real.
Respond to me personally to let me know you're for real or I'll report you one of the admins on this site about you.
