Ugh, I have mixed feelings about the legal nevada brothels... I worked a sherris ranch for 2 weeks a few years ago. I found it VERY strict with fines for every thing you could think of, and I've never worked so hard in my life. You basically have to hustle guys at the bar/lounge like you were at the club, then once you get them in your room you have to negotiate (Im particularly bad a this part) then proceed. There is some big money to be made (as there also is in dancing) but it's not that easy. We were on 24 hour shifts for the whole 2 weeks, looked like a wreck by the end of it and was convinced I was going to get rickets from lack of going outside lol.
The only time I made it out of the building was walking a client to and from one of the bungalows. That being said it was kind of a fun experience in a weird way, met lots of great girls and had a laugh. But I wouldn't do it again unless I absolutely had to, and came out with only about $7000 (before tax) for the 2 weeks after cuts and fees.
I guess if you really didn't want to be independent, and are a good negotiator/hustler it could be worth your while but there is tons of bs to go along with it.
Oh and I worked with a few girls from the moonlight bunny ranch and they said it was pretty much the same, but rates were typically a bit lower, and girls were less friendly (although I can't say for sure as I've never worked there)
Anyways I hope that made sense, its pretty late...

^^^ That's exactly what I was thinking. There are tons of girls on here that aren't part of the industry right now. A lot of girls "retire" & then come back too.

If you're thinking about working here, don't.
Where do I start?
First of all, they set you up to believe that they are this huge, successful business and their girls make a ton of money. I worked here and if I had known what goes on here I would not have wasted my time and spent half my savings on going here. Ladies, they are a successful business because THEY TAKE MOST OF YOUR MONEY. The first red flag was when they told me "if you make $800 or more Sunday-Thursday your room and board are free" (instead of paying $29/night to stay there). "If you make $1000 or more on a friday-saturday your room and board are free." Wouldn't it be easy to make that much money? No. Think again.
The house is dead. It is so slow most days/nights. I made $850 on a Friday night with 2 customers (a total of 17 minutes) in the 14 hours straight that I was required to work. The house takes 50% of what you make, including your tips. Plus if the customer gets there by cab or driver, you are required to tip the driver 20% of the total amount the customer pays. So if you have a client that gets there by driver or cab, you are only making 30% of what you charged. In the 5 days that I was there that means I actually made $425 (I didn't have any clients that got there by driver). Not bad for 17 minutes of work. Ok well now you have to count the room and board they will take out of what you made. So I was there a total of 5 days. So that means they will take out $145, if they decide to forgive the nights I was held to (a total of 2 weeks). So if I'm lucky, I would have made a total of $280 for the 5 days I was there. Plus you are required to pay $198 for the doctor to make sure you are clean, and $78 to get your working sheriff's card before you can work. Don't forget you are required to buy all of your own supplies to make your room look good and anything else you might need for this work. I maybe spent more than I should have, being under the impression that I was gonna make thousands of dollars like they say you're going to. With all of those numbers added up, not including everything I bought to get there, I made a total of $4.00! I would have made more scrubbing toilets! No wonder why the girls are in the hole. I drove 10 hours to get there, and 10 hours back. This was not worth my time at all.
Let me explain something. It doesn't matter what you look like here. I am a model at home so I thought I would do fairly well here. I got chosen by clients a lot, but the clients are not willing to pay much. Most come here to pay $100 for full service. That means you would only get $50 to have sex with them. I'm sry but I feel I deserve way more than that, and so does everyone else, no matter what you look like.
If you are a smoker, this is the environment for you. They did not tell me people smoked in the house. I didn't even have a clue before I got there. If you can't handle heavy smoke in the air like me, don't come here. I was physically sick and told them I needed to leave early. They tried to talk me down and act like my problems didn't matter. I told them I needed to leave because I can't breathe without my lungs hurting and didn't listen to them. I packed my stuff and left. I don't even know if they will pay me the full amount I was owed.
Madam Adrianne is very nice, and most of the cashiers are too. Treva needs an attitude fix.
When I sat down with Madam Adrianne and told her my concerns, she explained to me that you need to have a clientele to make money here. Well great. I don't have a clientele, so I wish I would have known that before I drove 10 hours to get there and spent half my savings on supplies. She said that the girls who make the most money are the ones who stay for months at a time, and/or post to the message board on their website and are actively talking to the clients in the chat room and on twitter. I was always doing that. So I asked some of the girls if they had been busy and made money here. Guess what the answer was? No. A lot of the girls that live there are in the hole for what they charge room and board. They do not make enough money to cover it. So for a total of 7 nights, that's $203 and they can't cover that?? Nope. You would make more working at a strip club or doing small photoshoots as a beginner and getting paid $50/day. You don't make that there. So I left.
On my way back I realized that I had left a few things there. I asked Treva if she could ship them out to me and told her she could take the cost out of my check (as if they didn't take enough). Her response was that they don't do postal service and they won't take it out of my check for paper work reasons. I kept bugging her about it and she said that they could bring my things to the post office, but I would be charged (from my credit card) an extra $10 to give to the driver. Fine. Just give me my stuff back. It was a total of $22 to send a couple things out to me.
It is false advertising to get you here. Don't waste your time.

I got to spend time with an old timer who managed a ranch many years ago. The golden age of Nevada brothels was decades ago, not now....& According to him, Dennis Hof is not considered a good thing for that world. He is too loud and flashy.
If you want to trade security for a giant chunk of your pay, go ahead. Doing well at the brothels requires a lot of networking via Internet...which a lot of women don't want to do for privacy reasons.
It's easier to go Independent, but you have to be very responsible to stay out of trouble and maximize your income.
