I just get bored with who I'm with for a year or less so I wanna fuck new guys I find attractive. I stop fucking who I'm with and desperatley want something new.

I always thought asexuals had no sex drive at all, not even for masturbation. I'm not familiar with the term. I was so wrong

Right! Low sex drive, celibacy, and asexuality can certainly all coexist, just as they can coexist with hetero and homosexuality, but those are three very distinct concepts. High sex drive, serial monogamy, and asexuality can also all coexist! And every other variation you could possibly imagine. :D

I didnot know that, too, I even wanted to post my concerns here in this thread lol.
I thought asexual literally meant 0 interest in sex. No sexual interest to others and yourself and some kind of platonic/romantic/subliminal feelings only.
Human nature is so complicated, that I think there are not enough words to describe the slightest moves of mind.

Right, it's complicated.

There certainly are asexuals out there who have no interest in romantic relationships or masturbation.

But sexual orientation is about how you relate sexually to other people, not about how you relate sexually with yourself.

I'm glad to see this thread!
I've identified as on the ace spectrum for several years now... didn't start out that way, and when younger was on the opposite side, more of hyper sexual... but then experienced some trauma that more or less took away my sex drive... then ended up marrying a partner with a very low sex drive as well, and now I'm older and my hormones have way chilled out so.. yeah! The rest is history haha. I actually seem to function a lot better without a libido. I'm much more productive and focused. I feel arousal now as more of a mental satisfaction. Rubbing my parts doesn't seem to do it for me much these days (though once in awhile I have orgasms from sexy dreams, which is the only time I seem to experience full-body arousal) I am a hopeless romantic though, and very affectionate and even sometimes flirty with anyone I appreciate.

It's definitely a little weird working in the adult industry and being ace.. I feel a little alienated but also sometimes amused when everyone around me is controlled by their sex drive. I just don't understand it anymore and I'm glad I'm not a slave to my libido, personally :)

^ thank you for sharing!! Love your post / story (except for the trauma part ugh, I'm so sorry... but it seems that you've embraced how your life has changed since then!). ♡♡♡

I thought about this topic recently.

I think in the e future my ideal partner would be a gay sugar daddy. I wouldn’t mind being a beard for an established man

I remember vividly the last time I broached this topic here I got eaten alive! Charlie knows I meant well though.

It depends on your definition of control, my conscious mind is always in control, I can tell anyone and everyone NO if I choose to, but it still feels great to feel. It is so much better to put myself out there, and while superficially it might outwardly look like my libido is controlling me, in reality I am 100% controlling my libido.
