Maybe this is why I get bitched at by the girls who spend a lot of $$$ on their look, because I spend virtually none, and they always say "omg you need to do your hair/makeup" etc, I try to tell them some guys like it natural, and they are like *cakes on makeup* 'well you need to look better" lol :P
Dude! I get this, too! I put pretty minimal makeup on (for our profession, anyway) and always do the same thing with my hair (which is wash it, haha - no dyes, no extensions, no cool styling), and there are some girls who are like, "You really need to put more makeup on" "Jeez, do you ever do anything ELSE with your hair? Couldn't you even straighten it??" I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets bitched at about it. I also say that I like to keep it real, but they don't seem to agree at all.
I have also found that a LOT of guys seem to like the more natural and will pay handsomely for it (and that I don't know how to multi quote)

I love Sephora too! I could buy the entire store, it'S sick... especially since I think you can get good make up just as well at wal mart or some other cheap place. I keep going back though..
Oh, resisting the pull of Sephora is really tough. REALLY tough. But I just think about a particular savings goal I'm working on at the moment, and then promise myself that when I reach it I'll allow myself to buy something small from there (and by the time I reach that goal, Sephora is out of my mind and I'm moving on to the next goal).

It'sactually a small investment if you are going to work in a good club, Also half that shit you could have done cheaper. Lotion instaead of a spray tan. Just doing your own nails until you make a little at work. Sally's for lashes, used the old makeup for one night....ect.

I got the micro link for $150. Craigslist, this lady did it, hair included. It came out to $200- application, hair, and tip. The extensions match my real hair exactly. Since I have the dark underneath she was able to match that as well. The only expensive part is the roots maintenance. I don't get my nails done as much as I'd like, and I'd rarely buy outfits. I happen to find alot of outfits in my own drawer/closet that work fine for me. Shoes..just bought my 2nd pair, had a custy of mine buy em for me.
I restock my makeup every month or so. CVS and sometimes Sephora for specific items (primer/mascara)
