From Softcups.com
"How do I know if the Softcup® doesn't fit? (http://www.softcup.com/product/frequently-asked-questions.html#nogo)
Typically we find that if the Softcup® does not fit then most likely your vagina is too small. If this is the case, you will know right away because the Cup will not stay in place behind your pubic bone. If after insertion the Cup tends to slide out or you cannot get the rim behind the pubic bone then the Softcup® is probably too large."

I've never felt or read anywhere, including the instructions, that instead has suction. The reusable cups do because of the holes around the rim. They're shaped differently than instead and don't work sit the same. I've read many reviews over the years. Generally people that have problems with insteads leaking have no or not as much problems with reusable cups.

Your shit is probably popping the cup out of place.

Um, wtf? Shit isn't popping anything in my vaginal area out of place because there's no feces in the vagina./:O Most likely the muscles around the anus are so close to the vaginal muscles that it moves the cup enough to break suction. And if you didn't know Insteads rely on suction to stay in place, um, have you really ever truly worn an Instead correctly? All you have to do is read the instructions in the box to know that it tells you to check and make sure you have a good suction seal to ensure it's in properly. Maybe that's why Insteads didn't work for you...you probably didn't have it in correctly.

Insteads are held in place behind the bone and could slide out of place because the shit, which is only seperated by the vaginal wall, can nudge it. Hell you can feel it if you put your finger up there. Pushing down with your muscles makes the vag shorter and has something to do with it too.

I read the instructions, reusables mention suction but the insteads don't. I don't get what you're trying to argue about.

Insteads don't work for me because they don't fit.

I have the box in my hands right now and it says make sure there's a tight seal. Which would be caused by suction. There's no way having a piece of plastic sit behind a horizontal bone in the vaginal area is the only way an Instead stays in place. C'mon. Think about it. If it was just the bone holding it in, it wouldn't stay flat against the cervix when you moved, it would wiggle around and ALWAYS leak.

I'm not arguing either. I just don't agree with you and think some of the things you are saying are incorrect.

i still disagree with you. even if i agreed there was suction it is unlike most reusable cups, and just because the bell shaped cups works for one person doesn't mean insteads will. so i reccomend anyone who doesn't like insteads but likes the idea of cups should try a reusable brand.
