Since we are applying labels, I thought about suggesting consort instead of escort. I liked the sound of it. But then realized that consort implies a much deeper deal than escort. I am running out of labels ;)

lol true enough but the girl your looking at is easy on the eyes and fairly therapeutic is she not? :P

Personally I prefer the term adult day care attendant for myself haha

Damn. Honest to God guys, I try to stay above the fray in my lofty Moderator perch. You know, pass judgment here and there but try to be cool overall and not be mean. Yet MissShyGirl is being flirtatious. I'm not sure what to make of that. I'm sitting here with substantial wood from her posts...not soft pine mind you but hickory. Considering my age, this is an enormous event. What am I to do?;) :P

I'm curious, do you worry about getting a ticket with the private strip tease you do then? How do you get around that? I mean, you could call that "modeling lingerie" or whatever. I look at mine from more of a networking perspective. I like to cultivate relationships with wealthy/successful people so that I can add them to my rolodex and later put together a business deal with them, when the opportunity arises. I don't always get paid either, this one just offered it to me, so I didn't say no.

The laws in Colorado vary from city to city. I don't perform private striptease in areas where it is included in the definition for escorting within the city (which includes places such as Co. Springs, Westminster, Federal Heights). In Denver there is a separate license for "Stripper for hire". If you only work in a club you don't need the license, but if you work privately aka "for hire" you do. I have my license to perform privately, which requires fingerprinting, FBI background check, and an interview with the head detective for the Denver Police Department.

In Colorado if you give your phone number to a customer in the club it constitutes and offer of solicitation for prostitution. If you see a customer with a certain number of hours after accepting money from them at the club it is considered escorting without a license (unless you have an escort license). If they catch you in private with said customer without clothes on you can expect a ticket for prostitution... even if you were just dancing - they pretty much skip the ticket for "performing private striptease without a license" and got right to assuming prostitution either took place or that it was the intention.

^^ Woah those are some crazy intense laws.

I swear most of the girls I worked with(including myself) would be in jail or broke from being ticketed so much lol.

Half of the dancers here don't know the laws either, which amazes me. I mean really when there is no city wide licensing in place for in-club dancers and no one tells them the actual laws when they start... it pretty much sets them up to get in trouble with the law. I guess its just another way for the government to collect money and make the industry look bad.

I know licensing is a pain in the butt, however in some ways it can have it's advantages. The places where licensing is required I really think the government should be responsible for presenting the applicants with all the related laws, testing to make sure they understand them, doing whatever background checks they want and then issuing the license.

Oh, want to hear an even crazier thing? In topless only clubs here if the cops catch you with a pubic hair showing its a $500 fine to the dancer and $500 fine to the club ($1k total). Most of the clubs here strongly encourage their dancers to either shave fully or wear two g-strings to avoid any pubic hairs from showing. Again, most dancers don't know the fine though...

There's also a club in town where the managers tell the girls they can do pretty much anything, including sucking on nipples - which is TOTALLY against the law. I'm not sure if the club is paying off the cops, simply naive on the laws, or just encouraging unlawful activity. Either way though I wish more dancers would at least take responsibility for themselves and find out their local laws rather than trusting that they'll be told the truth by management.

Lol - sorry if I missed that. Not really germane to the point of the story, but I'll answer:

Once she blew town, some of the high end regulars (of which I was one at the time) amused themselves by performing an autopsy of the collective damage. We also had a lot of help from a very friendly bartender, who was able to add to the damage pool as she was front and center for conversations with a few other guys that we did not know about.

To get ahead of the next question: Why did the bartender help? Well, because girls rotated in and out of this particular club but the regulars were her meal ticket. As an additional aside, she was a lot of help over time in steering her good clients to "friendly" girls, keeping us from getting tangled up in time wasters, etc. And she got a lot from us for her efforts ;)

But I digress...

Again, can I say that every nugget of data was 100% accurate? Of course not. But if I had to wager on the over/under I would guess that we are short rather than overshooting.

Yes, and when I went to pay for my license the interview process was backed up. Colorado just passed that bill making medical marijuana dispensaries legal and the head Detective had 250 marijuana dispensary applicants he had to interview before interviewing me. Some lady in front of me at the licensing department was a medical marijuana chef opening up a restaurant dispensary... sort of crazy! It will be the second one here I believe. Here's info on the first LINK (http://www.marijuana.com/drug-war-headline-news/135731-co-first-marijuana-restaurant-opens-denver.html)

It is amusing clubs don't seem to fill girls in on laws. I was licensed to dance in 8 different cities at one point and out of those 8 cities. ONE handed me a form with a list of local laws when I picked up my license. Out of those 8 cities, only two of them had clubs that would have you sign a contract with the laws before you started working.

Then they wonder why girls get so upset and confused when they get fined lol.

I always had myself educated on local laws before dancing anywhere. I had to many close calls from stupid stuff. I actually got a $500 fine because my hair touched a waitresses arm when I leaned off stage to ask her for a glass of water(My hair was waist length... its not like I was that close to her). Thankfully the club picked up the fine for me and I think they challenged it.

I also got a $200 fine for handing a customer a poster once. It was considered 3erd party contact ::)

^^^ I've danced in states that had the hair law. I HATE that! If you flip your head upside down and it happened to touch the customer you would get fined. It's total stupidity. However, it's better to know that and follow the law than have to pay the fine.

MissShyGirl
04-25-2010, 05:54 PM
Yea the hair one is stupid. Its not like your doing it on purpose.

The worse was the city that had one way contact. First off on stage you had to keep your gstring on and tiny tiny little stickers on your nipples(like they didn't cover areola, just nipple) and you had to be 3 feet away from customers. But for private dances you didn't need stickers and customers could touch you and grope you and lick you all they wanted but you couldn't touch the customer. I actually got in shit for pushing a customer off me that was manhandling me. I was pissed. I was like 'so he can molest me but I can't push him off me to stop him?' the response was 'no you call for help if he gets to be to much' :O So great... the guy can rape me but I can't defend myself ::)

Hell, per the Los Angeles description alone, every single PERSON I know would be considered an escort.

Nah, if I was going to spin a fantasy I would have made it much more lurid, with tawdry sex, love triangles and other plot twists designed to beguile and mesmerize. ;)

This was simply a recounting, as best I could with the facts that I had, of a girl at a club who some thought was unusually amazing.

Some posters on here thought that what she did was unremarkable. That's fine - opinions will vary - but I believed that she was unusual enough to warrant a discussion post.

I started reading this thread and thought it was funny, until I saw the large number of ladies (mostly pinks) in the thread. I have no problem with the girls posting the basement. however, me does wonder if this many guys (blues) posted in the penthouse how much screaming would happen........................Me thinks I shall return to my meager corner and small rations..........

That's probably because the blue side doesn't have "customers only" section. A lot of the blues probably come here from SCL or TUSCL where there are primarily customers, and they venture here for a bit more dancer interaction.

Harmless flirtations, sir and all public so not to implant the thought that moderators can get more mileage than you plebeians. But I have to admit should I desire to somehow step outside the boundaries (not saying I would and understanding it would get me fired from my unpaid position if I did) well...MSG would be a person of interest }:D

There are private sites for males only though. The require some form of screening like the female only sites (not SW, anyone can lie and say they are a lady). A lot of them have come up from some of the public sites. But there are certainly forums for mongers only...they tend to be prostitution oriented.

Kylea2

^^^ I know exactly what you are referring to. I think the issue with that is since these guys aren't looking for full time call girls, they don't want to be on those sites because the club guys have more in common with them.
