Many f you talk about "your next set". Why is this? Can you only go so big at a time? Or you decide to go bigger? Because "my next set" of anything is gonna be a set of $40 dishes! Not 3500.00 boobs! Crazy...
Also, how quick do you ladies heal? I want these more than ANYTHING. But Im not the one to be sittin around..Im CONSTANTLY doin somethin! Annoys my b/f, but theres NEVER a chance for my house to be messy lol
There's a few reasons why people say this....
a) They are not happy with the size and want bigger
b) They have a complication that is mild enough that they can continue with the current set until a later date when it warrants replacement
c) They are using their implants as in investment in their dancing career so they may have a bigger size now than the size they want in later life
d) Implants don't last forever. If there is no reason to replace them you don't have to but if you get them at a younger age you will experience sagging with gravity or breastfeeding or you might experience a leak. They say the standard life of a set is 10 years. I'll be 28 when I get mine so I am planning that I could potentially go through 3 sets. Maybe even more... I can tell you I am not going to be one of those women that gives up on her look at 45-50.
The other ladies can tell you about downtime but I've just finished my 3rd consult and they said anywhere between 3-6 weeks. I'm planning on having 8 weeks off though. I want to be totally healed. We'll see if I've saved enough.

Being an escort, I cant exactly be up under somebody with stitches hangin all out, lol... But I do plan to go back to work soon as those babies are out! Hopefully less than 2 weeks.
(I dont dance anymore, so Im not worried too much about missing work...)

^The stitches dissolve... but its not just the stitches you need to think about. Obviously in sex your chest bounces around and guys are going to be grabbing your boobs so they need to be fully healed before you have vigorous sex (and you cant really say to a client please go really slow lol). Don't forget that most of the healing is taking part inside...where you can't see. The incision is the smallest part of the healing. Just ask the doc at your consult when you can have fully active sex again. :)

It's going to take way longer than two weeks for them to heal or even look and feel normal to the touch. Not to mention, you can't even stress out your body or get your heart rate up until you're father along in the healing process (4-6 weeks at least). I wouldn't be seeing clients until you're fully recovered. I'd also be wary of guys making comments about your being fresh out of a BA, if you're ever on review boards and such. Men tend to be less sympathetic of the aesthetics of a woman's body fresh out of plastic surgery. You could receive harsh criticism in that department.

Update: Just got a card approval for 4,000 towards breast augmentation. I also have 2,400 in cash so that's 6,400. I plan on getting my surgery in November just after thanksgiving and taking Decemeber off being as it has always been the worst of months for me dancing ( holidays people are buying toys not sticking those dollars in my g string) also can't think of a better time to reveal my new additions than right as conventions start.
Just need to determine a size. I am currently a 36 C and 5 foot 11 150 pounds. I am thinking a 36DD/36 F. Also for girls who traveled to the consult/surgery how did you do it? I am thinking consult Monday, Surgery Tuesday Recover Wednesday/Thursday fly back Thursday night to Vegas from Oklahoma City.

The most I would most likely be able to travel out of town would be 5-7 days ( hubby would most likely be back to work by this time)
I plan on doing the surgery right after Thanksgiving. The holiday season is VERY slow here in Vegas and December sounds like a good time to treat myself anyway

Correction they approved me for 4,500 so the boobie fund is at 6500 now.
Also hubby is getting a job soon he is number 10 on the books ( he's a union electrician)
I am almost to my goal of saving 10 grand.
Question to all you ladies: Did you take in photos of anyone or boobs you liked or did you just say what you were looking for?
I really like Jordan's boobs but I wonder if they would be too big (36F)
Zinaida

They won't be too big! Some doctors recommend you bring photos, some don't. Wouldn't hurt to bring them either way. :)

I think I am going to bring in Jordan Katie Price, Sophie Howard, and Tess Taylor photos. I am thinking an F(ddd) is as big as I want to go.

If you're dancing in vegas, the question isn't what size to choose, but what is the maximum size that your plastic surgeon thinks he can cram in !!!

^^^ well, this circles back to two issues -
A. breast implants do not last forever. Regardless of being an exotic dancer, or a business professional, or a housewife, at some point ( ~10 years ) down the road a second surgery to have old implants replaced is going to become an issue. At the time of that second surgery, choosing a different sized implant doesn't cost extra.
B. in most strip clubs, there is a real world relationship between an exotic dancer's ability to earn money and the exotic dancer's ability to attract customer attention. One of the attributes involved is breast / implant size. Therefore for most exotic dancers, to put it bluntly 'bigger tits means bigger tips'. This is particularly true in cities like Vegas where most clubs run with a large number of dancers.
Thus exotic dancers have very little to lose and much to gain by choosing bigger implants. And if the size of those implants is a bit larger than is 'comfortable' in a middle age / normal life situation, once the girl retires from dancing it is a simple matter to downsize. Since a second surgery is going to be required at some point in the future in any case due to the finite lifespan of breast implants, this doesn't even involve additional risk or expense !

I have a slightly different take on this. IF you get large implants, work with them for a couple of years and then retire and decide you want smaller implants, you are very likely going to need a lift = more money on that surgery.. plus a lift just doesn't look nice, I know first hand, I had 2 and am soon going to need a third one.

I found a doctor in Las Vegas. His name is Dr. Lane Smith. Has anyone been to him.
5300 for silicone gel under the muscle through the armpit ( this is prefered as I scar very easily)
That saves me about 2000 in airfare and hotel so now if I save up another 2000 I'll be set.
:)
Also did anyone get post surgical depression?
4everresolutions

^ I was very depressed after my surgery, actually, I've had post surgical depression after every operation I've ever had.
Just in case you think you're likely to experience it, I recommend writing down (now, before the operation); how excited you are about getting them done, how you think your life will change after you've had them done (all positive things), and a little statement acknowledging that while recovery may be tough, you will get your life back to normal eventually, and that this operation is totally worth it. It helps to read that after the BA when you're feeling like a freak and like you'll never feel normal again.
Also, my doc prescribed me a very mild anti-depressant before I even had my BA, just to have on hand, just in case.

I tried to get boobs through that site but it was taking so long for the money to add up so I decided to strip (fast money) to be able to pay for the boobs, and now I strip for a living as a result (and loving it!). It took me 2 months to be able to afford the boobs!
That website where you can get free boobs - well I felt like I had to be best friends with the guys on there and I didn't want to be on that site every minute of my day, so I was like ff that.
O by the way I just got my second boob job 2 weeks ago. I went 75 cc bigger (at 300 cc) than orig. and chose mod profile over high profile.

Update: work is beyond slow right now (110 plus degree weather).
I need another 2500 saved up ( time off work) and then I can do the surgery.
I found a doctor in Las Vegas Dr. Lane Smith. Has anyone gone to him?
I was thinking and I really don't want to be on a plane, in a strange city, on strong strong painkillers and going throug an airport shortly after having massive surgery so I am thinking my own bed to recover in sounds better not to mention I will save ALOT on airfare and I really can't afford to travel anyway.
Thanks girls I do appreciate the honest advice
Also how many of you had people telling you not to do it? Did this affect your choices?

Just work like a lunatic and don't treat yourself to anything. No pretty new clothes, shoes, don't eat out, don't go to the movies, don't even go to the mall. Just work and after you've paid your bills/rent/utilities/cheap groceries put everything else away.
That is what would kill me. I need to do that, but it is so hard *whines*. Going to the mall- everything starts calling out to me.::) I have been cutting back lately, and doing better by not shopping as much, but it's not enough. I wish I had took my ex boyfriend up on the offer to pay for them for me!

^^^Don't do it! Also, the more you work the less time you have to go out and spend money. Pretend your rent is double what it actually is, you HAVE to make that money, or else you get evicted. Put the extra aside.

Had mine 4 days ago. Most people were supportive but I didnt tell everyone. My mom still doesn't know cause I know shed just freak out. People who weren't supportive I just said, "look I value your opinion but I made up my mind a long time ago. Nothing will change it now. Decision has been made".

I am considering breast surgery and have only saved up 2K for it thus far. The following is what I need to save
Surgery = 4500
Travel=1,000
Bills for Month off work= 2300
So my question is is this all really worth it or should I be putting money away towards something else ? How long did it take you other girls to save?
well my boobs are nice but honestly i wish i didn't get them they are nothin but a pain in the ass and maintanence (dr recommends me massage 1 hour a day because i am prone to capsular contracture) and now they are too big for my body as well, i am 90 lbs and the boobs are just too big i feel top heavy and get too much attention which i dont like unless at work (stripping). wish i kept htem the way they were they were just cute lil perky B cups.

Update. Alot of the money I did save had to go to bills. There is NO work for my husband in LV right now and he will most likely be going out of town to find it when he offically journey's out next month. ( I will stay here at first) he is a union electrican and has been out of work along with the rest of our local guys for about 9 months now!!
So I am NOT getting them done until he has steady work, if that means it takes me longer so be it. It's pointless to go get a luxury item/surgery and be out of work when I am the one with a steady income.
Please NO negative comments, my husband trys super hard and is in school and goes out daily looking for work the economy just sucks. He is putting in all the effort he can.
So basically I have my loan ( issued in April) and need to save up the rest (about 3 K)

It's pointless to go get a luxury item/surgery and be out of work when I am the one with a steady income.
From a purely pragmatic standpoint, this is absolutely true in the short term. I also commend your 'fiscal responsibility'.
However, as the economy appears to be approaching a 'double dip', you probably should start thinking about longer term questions ...
- as a relatively inexperienced but 'expensive' union electrician, and with the gov't stimulus fading, there is some question as to whether your hubby's employment situation is going change for the better in ANY city that also offers good dancer earnings potential
- in some cities, and particularly in LV where you are already settled, getting your boobs done is going to increase your own income potential. Thus every week that you continue dancing as you are represents a potential $200-$400- who knows how much of 'lost' dancer earnings potential.
- thus it's worth doing the calculations as to what your overall financial condition might be 12 months down the road even if your hubby remains unemployed. Yes it means investing another $3000 from 'somewhere'. Yes it means sacrificing perhaps $4000 in lost earnings potential while you recover from the surgery. But it might also mean $200 * 48 weeks = $9600 or $400 * 48 weeks = $19,200 in additional dancing income over the remainder of that year that would more than offset the 'lost' $ 3000 + $4000 = $ 7000.

Thanks Mel. Yes I had to take 2 weeks off due to personal/family related issues recently. I go back to work Friday night at a new and bigger place so I should be able to start saving something soon even if its only 100 bucks a week it adds up!

Glad to hear you still have your goal in mind and will work away at it, bit by bit.
I'm sure you will look even more stunning once you're able to achieve the "upgrades".;)

Hubby went back to work a few weeks ago. I am consulting with docs now in Vegas. First doc was a total asshole to me and was an hour late!! Who is late to his own appointment?? That was a really bad sign. He insisted that my "very droppy and misshapen breasts" needed a lift as well as "aug" (yes he kept using aug instead of augmentation) he also kept insisting I get a 2nd or 3rd opinon ( not confident in yourself are we??)
I have another consultation with Dr. Parker next week. He does amazing work the only downside is it's more as I was planning to spend ( 7,000) out of state doc charges 5,000 ( just don't know if hubby can travel now that he is on a good job site :D )
I also have a consult with Dr. Zambodi next month as well and belive he charges 5,000 maybe 6,00 not so sure. I know you get what you pay for and that hubby can helpt me now but I only got a loan for 4,500 and have about 1,000 saved in cash on top of it right now. If I want to go to a doc who charges 7,000 that's another 3,000 I need to save just for the surgery.
What are anyone's experiene with traveling for surgey? With docs mentioned above?
Thanks love ya all

So the first consultation was horrible. Guy was an HOUR late and then comes in and doesn't even introduce himself and tells me how he encourages all his patients to get second and third opinions. He then goes on to tell me all the things wrong with me " Your breasts drop alot and you WILL need a lift with your implants, the scars won't be pretty and you have at least a cup size difference in your breasts so we could take some fat from your other areas and inject it into your breast to fill it up." He drew on me like crazy and totally knocked my pride down. Then gives me a list of things he can fix on me with prices needless to say I won't be back
Second consult went very well, Dr. was early and went into detail about the procedure. Also recomended a lift with augmentation as well (10K!!) I only have 1,000 saved right now unless you count for the loan which they approved me 4,000 for but may be able to get me 6,500 still not sure I want to do it though, the scars for a lift are not pretty.
So, have any of you had a lift? Is it better just to stay natural? I am feeling like my tits suck now. I know it is the job of the surgeon to make you feel like you NEED something so they can get paid but god, I feel like they sag to my knees or something to have 3 docs (did a virtual consult as well) say they MUST lift and augment.
Sigh!

Ur boobies r beautiful girl don't let them docs get u down. The only reason they say lift too is to make sure u don't come out with the dreaded double bubble boobies . Yikes! I've seen a few of those in the club. My good friend had a lift with hers and she was pretty young..22 I think. And they look fab! Only prob is a larger scar and harder recovery.

Yeah, you don't want to go through the surgery only to be left with non-satisfactory results. A girl I work with just got implants and a lift, and they are completely amazing even just a month post op.
