Just another reason the club and my personal life outside the club are kept completely separate.

On another note, who names their kid Elmore?! Or better yet, Elmore Jr.?!

The question kind of answers itself. Elmore named his kid Elmore. While passing on his name, daddy should have added some wisdom, particularly about the dangers of thinking with his dick.

Kind of a man-bites-dog story, in that OTC custy on stripper violence is probably much more common.

I am not as surprised as I should be.

Every now and then a story circulates about a guy getting shaken down by the girl and an accomplice (boyfriend, hubby) in a supposed OTC situation, usually a married professional with lots of reasons to keep his mouth shut. Looks like this one got out of hand.

"Hello officer, I just got robbed by a girl who was supposed to be meeting me for paid sex." Ah, I think not.

I am sensitive to this issue and take certain precautions, and I think a lot of others do as well. Are they foolproof? I'm sure not, but IMO if one wants to avoid any risk one should live in a bubble.

^^^ Yes, but normally when one sees this happen its:

A.) Not a dancer from a club

B.) Some person with no credentials/referrals that came from someplace like Craigslist or Backpage.

Well, that is definitely a sad situation. No one deserves violence of any kind, let alone to be killed for $$.

I imagine she will roll on her "partner" eventually. I have only been to one club in Austin a couple of years ago. Anyone know where she worked?

I can think of one or two clubs I've been in over the years where I would never attempt OTC for just this reason. Sadly, there is a level of woman "dancing" in some clubs nowadays that is no better than a Craig's List cyber street-walker.

I agree. I (and I'm sure others) come across clubs in some places that are nothing more than brothels with dancing stages. In fact, there is at least one of these places in almost every state I visit.

In the Northeast the "dirty" clubs at least try to keep the pretense of actually being strip clubs, but at some of the lower tier clubs I've come across in other locales a girl will give you the "menu" almost as soon as she sits down (if she even bothers to sit before grabbing your package). Hell, in some of these places nobody even bothers to dance on the stage.

I hate these places. The girls are usually disgusting and these joints are not places where one would want to hang out before finishing the night.

I'll take a good mid-tier club with attractive girls anyday over these hell holes. May not have 100% success rate at better clubs, but I'd rather walk out empty handed than get action in some of the lower-end shitholes.

I doubt that I would ever be in a club where that woman works. Ugh. Add in the fact that I don't do OTC...........

3 clubs in South Austin; Palazio, Expose, and this dive called Hot Bodies. She didn't look so great in her photo, but I think, if cleaned up and dressed well, she could have worked at any of them. So...really no way of knowing except through gossip. I could ask my friend who works at one of those places if she knows but I don't care enough to bother.

I was also mildly curious about what club. I think for me the most shocking part of that was that this was only the 10th murder this yr in austin. yet another reminder of how ridiculously safe this city is.

I love Austin.

Yes, definitely be wary of strippers. They will break your heart or give you teh herp.

No clue... although I did get filled in on which club another "news worthy" post happened in. I love having sources of information!

Youre supposed to roll your customers at the atm inside the club not outside it. LOL

This is just sad. I'm assuming that she was likely one of those drug addicted dancers we all pretend don't exist but do. This is a tragic lesson than no one should really meet someone OTC in most cases.
