I agree with most here. A man is a man.

Ouch. Alright, I am done with this thread. It's just not healthy for me to read crap from people who obviously know nothing about what intersexed or transsexual issues actually are. It seems people are more concerned with perpetuating their own ignorance. I was trying to educate people (with what current scientific research and evidence states) but time and time again, it proves to be worthless.

Living with a brain that is literally structurally female inside of a male body isn't something I can help, but it doesn't make me any less of a woman, and it certainly doesn't make me a man which denotes much more than chromosomes. It's an insult, frankly. Be glad you were born correctly and nothing went wrong developmentally in the womb, because the alternative is not pleasant.

Also when did this thread ever become about deceiving other people you are dating? I never stated I did and I don't know a single trans person that does. Considering the number of transpeople I know, I don't get why people think this media driven misconception is fact.

THe only thing correct about the above statement is that a man is a man and a woman is a woman, but one's idea of what a man or woman is isn't always correct. With this sort of attitude is it any wonder why a transsexual might not inform someone of their medical history? It's like saying "Hey, be honest to everyone around you so they can demean and belittle you." I mean hell, why don't all of the girls on here be totally honest about their profession to everyone no matter what is a stake? It would be foolish. Can you not see the parallels? I see threads on here all the time about telling people or not, when to tell them and so on, and that doesn't make these girls deceptive, it makes then cautious.

I'm closing this thread. I think it has run its course, and it will only receive further negative comments if I leave it open.

Thank you to everyone for contributing.
