I hate foreign customer service operators. I will not deal with them and like to hurl rather nasty comments to them. As far as I'm concerned they are taking American jobs when Americans need them so I have every right to call them names.

Since my whole city is probably looking on CL for jobs, along with other job-seeking sites, I'm just applying to random places without job ads. This usually works better than CL, I've noticed.

I am in a play that opens this weekend. My friend wrote it (she's also a dancer), and I think it's awesome, demented, and funny. We're rehearsing every day, and I think we'll be ready for opening night (Thursday).

I'm worried no one will come, or that they will but they won't "get it".
I think this is just pre-show jitters, and that it's a pretty natural fear for a new play that no one has seen yet, so I'm trying not to pay too much atttention to these little nagging fears.

No, let's not call them fears, even. How 'bout "anxieties".

Because they aren't creative enough to come up with their own 'verse' to place things in.
It's much easier to be at Hogwarts and never run into any of the major characters than to come up with your own setting where people can randomly do magic. ;D

Their laziness bothers me on a deep level. If they can't come up with their own setting, they should resign themselves to reading instead of writing. Or else I'll keep leaving them terribley mean flames....

OMG yes! Such a disappointment, especially when the writing's actually good, but then...none of the good stuff. Boo.

Haha I'm such a nerd. I'm currently obsessed with Roswell ff. Back in the day I used to write Draco/Hermione ff. I miss being young.

SWEET! Lol! I seriously didn't think anyone would know what I was talking about. I loved reading well-written DxH and D/G fics back in the day. I miss being young too. Back then reading/writing ff's was cute...now we're all just kinda lame.

HA, my nerd status is maintained, cause I actually understood this entire thing! That's actually kind of sad, but oh well...

LOL, you should read some of my NC-17 ff's...I'm a damn good dirty writer, if I do say so myself. And I get wicked pissed when I read through other people's shit and it's either completely moronic or so grammatically mangled (not to mention spelling) that it's unreadable. I also really, really hate the AU ones. Seriously, just write an original at that point. Cause all you're keeping is the character's names, if that.

Mmmm....lemony goodness. You should PM me the links too!!! And yeah, AU is so pointless. The AU/AH ones in the Buffy/Twilight/Harry Potter realm particulaly drive me batty. AH = All Human. I figure if you're going to take the "wizarding" out of Harry Potter, then why on earth would you still call it Harry Potter?

I think that's why they write rape-fics so often. They don't really know how sex works outside of the non-sinful "making-baby-sex", so they figure if it's rape then they don't have to explain anything in detail. Sorry if anyone found that to be harsh.

Kelly ........ I reckon you need to Vent your anger at the companies , service providers involved . If you just vent at the operator , it wont achieve anything .

Lets the companies know what you think ..and give it to them right between the eyes . I can well understand your frustration , we have same same . The difference in cost for these organisations is Huge , thats why you got to get into them .

Otherwise ...Its going to be more more more of India and the Phillipines .

The liquor laws suck here, its called the bible belt...organized religion.

I sell new homes, so I sell the land & house, then we build. This was a 3ooosqft basement at $245K. Americans always want new & land is cheap now so a smart builder can compete in high inventory areas.

^ I hate that, lol.

Sadly I've noticed most people don't know how it works. It amazes me.

So sadly true. :( Totally meaning to use this opportunity to brag (in a constructive manner) - we've had a cutie over for a couple weeks now. She's in an open relationship, and likes me & MM. After a few days here, she decided to take the plunge (we all knew it was coming, but it took her a couple days to go for it). Boy is she gonna take home a few things to her man, LOL! We've been completely blowing her mind every time we get it on. The really sad part is; she's far from inexperienced! 8 or 9 partners, sexually active for almost 5 years. She knows what she's doing, she's had partners that didn't SUCK - but she'd never had REALLY GOOD sex with all it entails. I hope we didn't ruin her, lol - but now she'll know how to ask for what she now knows she wants!! How are so many people still so hung up about sex?! So. Sad.

I am SO far behind right now. Taking odd writing and 3D modeling jobs from people who know me, who come to me for marketing & patent stuff. All the crap that's gone down the last 2 weeks with Dr's, lawyers, car problems, the girls at work - plus being distracted by having this little sex addict in the house, I am so far behind on 3 different projects it's stupid. I HAVE to have them ALL done TODAY. Which won't happen. And it doesn't help that for some reason both parties contracting me for this stuff have been vague as hell about details. I'm doing most of their work for them instead of editing and producing what they already have. And after numerous phone convos about it, they still just don't get it. Grrr.

Oh yeah - and I have a "hearing" with the HOA board tomorrow about 2 issues that aren't even issues, which UI've sent numerous emails and left numerous phone messages trying to address that they've ignored - but are trying to fine me for. It is going to take in inhuman amount of restraint to not just chew into them brutally and fuck the consequences...

I feel like SW has gotten so cliquey, and there are a few people who seem to delight in slamming people. There have a been a few threads recently concerning social issues, and heaven forbid you have a different opinion or you’re going to get blasted for being a bigot/racist/woman-hater/man-hater/baby-hater/idiot/horrible person who should die in a fire. And yet they won’t actually put anyone on ignore because they delight so much in the fight.

It’s like no one can have a civil debate anymore. They feel like their opinions are fact, and if you disagree, well, you’re a closed-minded idiot. Then they all thank each other. And I think a lot of people don’t bother getting involved in these threads anymore because it’s just not worth it. So it ends up being really one-sided with a bunch of people high-fiving each other on their “open-mindedness.”

I’m not trying to stir up anything with this post…I’m just venting my frustration. I know it’s the internet and this happens everywhere, but it’s still bothersome.

32s are just hard to find in general. I wear a 32b and it's impossible to find so I end up just getting a 34b and hope I'll grow into it (never happens) or get a 34a. And I'm not THAT small, I feel like a lot of girls should wear a 32, is it just that girls don't know how bras are supposed to fit?

Also, it's ridiculous how much sizes are inflating. I wear a 32c at VS and an XS in panties... When at most stores I'm a medium. WTF!

Yeah! I think it's harder for 32's as well. I don't understand why it's difficult here to find them. And you're absolutely right on the size differences. I try everything on now.

I don't mind fights, I don't mind insults... but the fact that everyone's crying "racist/sexist/bigot/whatever" is getting REALLY obnoxious really quick.
Fighting is one thing, this is the internet, I expect that... but all this pseudo oversensitivity for the sake of not having to prove your side of an argument via changing the subject to discrimination or attacking someone for being narrow-minded or whatever is just ridiculous.

This is the problem with discussing topics like politics or religion and that is someone will be offended and resort to name calling. It happens on both sides.

Someone pointed this out to me in pm and that is how the more liberal dancers are younger than the conservative dancers. Not saying this is right or wrong but as people age they tend to become more conservative. In my early 20's I was an ultraliberal and now am more of a conservative/libertarian viewpoint (though not a conservative Republican). People often change their viewpoint because of personal experience (liberal or conservative).

Done with class!! Well, the first one, anyway. How incredibly useless. Okay, not useless - I DID learn some things faster than I would have on my own. I also taught myself more than the instructor taught me and with MM's help, found resources WAAAY beyond what they provided. Already got my first couple of paying jobs modeling for provisionary patent applications. :)

Threw in the towel with the insurance company and signed for my (not nearly enough) settlement. It was going tot ake 5-6 months of appeals to get me back into treatment anyway, and under NV law we can file to reopen the case in a year anyway. In the meantime, finances were getting far too bad, especially since MM (who's not hurt 1/2 as bad as I am but is still getting treatment?!?!) is only working here & there. Oh well...

SOme of you recall that my favorite car got totaled back in late March. We've been driving around our beater since then. Well, the beater is on it's last legs, getting to where continuing to fix it just isn't worth it. So I went car shopping. Turns out they don't consider my insurance payments to be income. I can't get a loan. The settlement is big enough to buy a decent car - if we do nothing else with it. And the car is way below a few other things on the priority list. I am so mad right now...
