^ Ummmm if I lived in L.A. I would pull up in a rape van and give you a ride anywhere you want to go ;D
Crossing my fingers I won't be alone on Christmas... Bf is trying to drive back from Texas and they keep closing the highway due to icy roads. He has a golden retriever puppy and I reeeeeeally just want to hold it NOW

I spent too much money last night (on booze and strippers, what else?), had awesome sex last night and this morning, I'm craving lamb, and I'm currently listening to "Going Back to Cali" by Biggie and it's making me sooo excited to move back there in a couple weeks!

I always name my cars. The one that got totaled (my all time fav) was Sally. I haven't been able to think up a name for the new car. Nothing fits. Today, I had a thought.
She's pretty, despite being heavier than I'd like. She's unique, but in a dime-a-dozen sorta way - the hotter version of a car everyone has. She's fast and likes to be driven hard, but she's finicky and requires skill to really find her limits.
And most tellingly - she got hit a few times early in the relationship, but she's still with me.
I'm thinking I might call her Rihanna. :P

Well, I'll be spending Christmas taking a 6 hour bus ride and spending the night alone in a hotel room so I can start work on time on boxing day. Even though I don't really celebrate Christmas the idea of this makes me kinda sad.

My boyfriend is going home for christmas, leaving at 2pm. he got up and went out this morning, so I got up and made myself some breakfast. He came back and went straight back to bed. Gah! Why did I bother getting up?!

The most empowering moment is when u realize exactly how big of an influence u r & that u still got it even 20yrs later.... i can still get on that stage & put on an awesome show, & their is always that girl that says "can u teach me that move? " as she's tipping a 20. U r strong & beautiful & u might not notice till u retire but u made memories & changed lifes. All because u took that first step on stage .....

Cyril has come back to visit us at last, in disguise.
The Jackal = Cyril.
I can't believe it took me over a month to see it in his writing. His English has improved in certain ways, but he's got a perfect overlap in idiom and article usage.

No....not horrible for feelling that way. With a little planning, something could be put aside each paycheck so he could spoil you a little during the holidays. I now how you feel though. I said if my son got me another calendar and candle for gifts I would scream. I got a Nook Color...;D so he did well. Enjoy the time with your family as it is a wonderful gift in itself.

No, not horrible at all! It's only natural to want to be spoiled a little by the guy you love. He just needs to plan little better (I know, guys are notoriously bad at that!). I'm not in construction but my industry slows way down between Thanksgiving and mid January every year. When I'm busting my hump working like crazy in my busy season I'm always putting aside money for the winter. It's not that hard, he just as to make it a habit.
Merry Christmas kaia!

I just put the presents from Santa out for my girls. Since having children I have come to enjoy Christmas all over again.
For me Christmas is all about kids. I bought a small tree this year for the first time since my ex and I split. I was actually sitting in a club talking with one of my favs about Christmas earlier in the week and, as we compared our favorite holiday memories, I realized that decorating the tree with my little girl was the best part of every Christmas for me. My fav told me that I really should have a tree for my daughter to enjoy when she came on Christmas eve and, by the end of the conversation, I knew she was right. My daughter is 24 years old now but when she sat in my living room with me last night for a couple of hours as we exchanged gifts it was like she was six all over again.
Honestly, the last eight or ten Christmases of my marriage were miserable and the first couple of years after we split I just couldn't be bothered thinking about Christmas. This year I talked myself into it and I'm so glad I did. Sitting in my living room with my amazing little girl who grew up to be an amazing young woman (and probably the only person in the world who really understands me) was the best Christmas memory I've had in many years...

I got really good at calling him out for a while there; figured out 3 of his alter egos real fast. I was gone for a bit and I suspected he snuck back in (probably even had some I missed before, too), but wow - I completely missed that one. Maybe I haven't seen enough of his posts or haven't read his threads, lol.
Merry whatever holiday works for you everyone...
Too broke to go see my kid and the family, spent last night with some of the other Vegas area "xmas orphans" that didn't have family in town and couldn't travel, had a good time.
Miss my kid though. :(

...This made my cry. My father went out and bought a little tree and all the bobbles for it for me this year, becasue he knew how much it would mean to me. It was such a nice gesture and I think he got as much happiness out of it as I did. I'm 22 but it made me feel like a kid again. :)

I came to see my family for Christmas and was surprised to see four of my parent's neighbors over. By the time they all left after lunch/dinner, I got maybe 1 hour max with just my family to finally unwrap presents. Don't mean to sound impolite. It's cool they have friends who come over who don't have family but I thought Christmas was truly "family time". Meh.

I was upset to hear my parents werent going to do anything for Christmas as they were too busy and did not want to bother. So I went to my boyfriends Christmas dinners (3+!) His family reminds me of mine, they are lovable and comfronting to be around... Im glad they invited me and welcomed me in. They only knew me for 3 months but It seems like it was much longer. :)
My boyfriend and I also agreed not to give each other presents as we wasted too much on our new place recently ... but he suprised me with a white and black diamond heart necklace... and its been 3 months!

Husband called and we did the stupid dance were I have to repeat myself over and over again because he's traveling back from AR on a shitty network and I'm talking through the computer on an equally shitty network (att). Doesn't help that he calls "just because" most of the time. "What are you doing?" "The same thing I do everyday, Pinky..."
