I'm extremely tired! It's 10 til 6am and I've been up since 4:45 having to drop my husband off at PT (military) after going to bed at 2:30am. He waited forever and a day to get our car tags and now I have to personally get our brand new vehicle towed which thankfully our insurance covers one way! They have to do a state inspection at the shop, and change our our oil, rotate tires, yada yada and this fool is just now getting around to it.

Then, we have to pay out the ass at the shop, and then pay the state again to get new tags on the car since they are expired He's gone 6 months without proper tags and even with the temp tags he piddled around. I'm on no sleep as I now have a new job/schedule. I got 2 hours of sleep last night, and I have to accompany the tow guy and pay for everything at the shop. I also had to clean the car out because this fool kept all his military personal crap and paperwork and junk in there scattered around in the fronts and back seats. When I asked him why he's so unorganized (aka not cleaning up after his grown as self, and messing up after I clean) he blamed it on his busy schedule. Oh, okay, so if someone breaks into the car, there's your identity! You're a grown ass man, CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF!

Oh, might I add that I have to walk back home five miles from the friggin shop? On a military instillation might I add? Fuck calling a cab, it's all up the road but damn! I can't even go back to sleep, I have to go pick his big headed ass up from pt and then wait for the tow guy to get here while he piddles his ass onto work. And when I do get sleep, I have to wake up and clean the house. This fucking sucks, I haven't even been married a year, no kids and my life is crazy. I also am trying to start a business, keep my adult one running, and work these two new scheduled jobs I have lined up. I'm going crazy! And they talk shit about stay at home wives/moms. 'm still hustling my ass off! Rant done :)

ugh might have to have tomorrow off and have a crappy week, then push it next week for all the bank holidays THEN have a rest week! I just hate flaking out midweek knowing i'll have crappy money at the end. Wish i'd had the foresight to take this week off!

Also some people on my fb have just found out that some people will buy worn underpants/socks and their minds are blown. Furthermore they're sooo unsure whether they should try it. Supposedly one of them got a message from some guy offering money for socks worn for a day and they're freeeaking out!::)

^ Since you quit, they may be concerned that e-mail leaves tracks that bosses can see, and management may not look favorably on their saying "yes" to your request.

You may also want to make sure the company has no policy against giving referrals.

Reference requests in your circumstance are most safely done by phone. Leave a VM on their cell with your request, or ask to meet for a drink, or find some other way to potentially reward them for going out of their way for you. Confidentially.

Last night was supposed to be fun and it ended bad, I feel like it's my fault. Saw an old friend while out at the bar with my sister, he's still the same immature asshat he always has been. If you're trying so hard to get on my good side... it's probably not the best idea to make dickish comments to my little sister.. right in front of me! I mean you already had no chance but jesus, what the hell?

I'm a nice girl, until you fuck with my sister. Then I turn into a complete psycho.

Went out with my partner and his little brother who's in town last night, and bumped into another acquaintance while we were out. Had fun but just some tough weirdness that I feel like rambling about. 4 of us, out in Vegas...

Me - broke as hell, trying to save my house, cannot find work to save my ass much less my finances. Played a total of $40 just to not be a 3rd wheel, lost my ass immediately, didn't even get to play much.

My partner - lost his millions, not as broke as me, but needs to make something work soon or he will be. Up and down all night, wouldn't stop when he got back to even a half dozen times, left down $300.

His little brother - net worth ~$4 million, and employed full time. Needs $1,000 like he needs a cheeseburger - makes no difference to him. Hit a $200 jackpot on his first $20. Parlayed that into another $1200 at craps. Won another $300 at Blackjack, hit another $300 on slots on the way out. "Man, I wasn't even going to gamble tonight, that;s why I stuck with the low limit shit". Love ya man, but fuck off, lol.

Other guy - friend of mine from racing. Older, retired, made his pile years ago, has homes here and in 2 other states, net worth ~$10 million. Compulsive gambler but smart enough to only play money he can lose, has a dedicated "gambling slush fund". Not that it matters - he never fucking loses. Luckiest asshole I've ever met, seriously. Last night was no exception, left around 2 a.m. saying he needed some sleep and complaining that he was only up $1,800.

Sometimes I want to look at these people and say "I get it that we all have our situations and none of us is nobody else's problem - but please don't joke or complain right in front of me about money that could save my ass right now that you literally don't give half a fuck about either way. Kthnxbye." Never would, but sometimes I really want to.

If these guys are otherwise good dudes, cut them some slack. Especially if they have been having a few, and you all are out just having fun. They see you as equal, they arent thinking about your financial situation.....just shooting the shit with you. However, if they like to wear their wealth like a sport coat(for every one to see at all times), then different story.

I have caught myself doing this and had to backtrack. If I'm in vegas with buddies with less dough, I'm not going to gamble in a high limits room, i'm gambling with them. And I remember complaining about only being up a couple of hundred. I got a look and I will not make that mistake again...it was 10 years ago and I still remember it.

Say something to them that will remind them that XX amount of $$ is a lot to some people at this table....try to make it funny. If they are oblivious..then it falls on deaf ears, at least you had your say.

I must pass this on......its from an ER doc. He asks everyone he knows that if someone is going to get a bike, please ask them to make sure they are an organ donor, as he has seen countless young healthy organs go to complete waste.

^ I'm on the side of the fence that thinks car drivers should be aware and careful of bikers. Though there are reckless young bikers (i assume) there are reckless young car drivers too, and plenty of regular drivers who don't take notice of bikes on the road or think they own it. They are smaller so less visible, everyone needs to be aware they could be there.

I used to go on the back of my dad's bike when i was a kid, it was fun. I miss that adrenaline rush thinking now actually.

Absolutely...unfortunately, bikers have to share the road with distracted, old, dickhead, cunt....drivers...they are on every road. The best biker, cant account for an old lady, or someone texting.... switching lanes....in a car, its a fender bender...on a cycle, it could be death.

Maybe they're uncomfortably aware of the discrepancy, and so they were just trying to find something to complain about? It probably would've been equally annoying if they were super happy about it and jumping around n shit, right? Or maybe they really are that oblivious. If the former, I guess I'd expect that they'd throw some money your way...but maybe they think you're too proud? Maybe you would be too proud to take it? Shrugs.

Thanks for the comments Lemi & Charlie - without intending to, I posted something I didn't mean to and got some replies I didn't expect that actually made me think. So seriously - thank you.

See - I re-read my post and it kinda took me off guard. I had intended to post about how annoying it is that every time I go out with my wealthy friends, it seems that only the peeps who don't need the money win. And seriously - they always do. It's insane, and last night was just another example in a long list.

That's what I INTENDED to post.

Seems what I ACTUALLY posted is that I'm getting bitter toward my wealthier friends. I didn't even realize it. Didn't think about it like that at all until I saw your replies. I guess the stress of my situation is getting to me more than I realized. I've always had friends with money; things like this rarely or never got to me like this before.

This is exactly why you can just Never go out with Groups who are Broke , or doing it Tough , especially when it comes to Gambling ..Gambling is just that ..a HUGE farking gamble , Its slush money and it destroys many people ..If you dont have the money you shouldn't be there ..Pure and Simple .

Yet you have a few Buks , and have a win and you see the other individual either Pumping more in ..Or looking at you Drooling , they expect that you should just Give it to them Because you can afford to. Under these terms as the Wealthy ( so called ) individual ..You would simply NEVER attend , you dont need to ride the Guilt train because you won at some Casino . Unfortunately , Its often those with nothing out there trying to PUNT their way to Glory . Its NOT a way to make money , Its a form of entertainment , if you can afford it you should not be in the Place .

But dont drool and wish because others have had a nice night and made a few Bucks ..Otherwise they will simply aviod you , Its the whole concept of Free enterprise .

So true and Vitally important ..I love bikes , but understand the Danger , always accept that NOONE sees you . Always Always Always Wear you helmet ( No choice here ) ..Also make sure you have the BEST helmet possible , spend the extra money , simply dont get on your bike without it .

Dont Worry about OLD/D/HEAD ..CUNT ..etc etc etc etc drivers ..WORRY about EVERY driver , always understand and accept the danger and you are a better chance of staying alive .

Donor register = ABSOLUTELY , there is no excuse not to be on the donor register whether you ride a bike or not ..But Dont waste great Organs , keep the world turning ..Make Sure YOU are on the register . I believe all organ donation should be Opt - out ..Not Opt in ...We need you bits if you Keel , please sign up today .

I despise misogynist men big time. Now everyone knows I am religious and that I am somewhat conservative but trust me when I say the extreme Jesus freaks piss me off big time. I am doing online dating on a religious site which is proving to be a big waste of money with all these men who feel women really shouldn't have any power. Because I enjoy working I have been called every nasty name and told no man will want to marry me because I will not serve him. Honestly I would rather be single than with a man who thinks of me as a babymaker and a maid and that's exactly what they think. The final straw was these men saying women who dress sleazy "deserve" to be raped. Yep. And by sleazy they are talking things most of us would not consider sleazy, like tank tops and bikinis. They believe women should wear veils. If they only knew I had been a nude model and stripper and am NOT ashamed of it I would be called satanic like the one guy said.

Even the most conservative men here would be considered lefties to them and it's sad.
