i've been teasing Miss D for a while about letting hers grow. Not a full bush necessarily but some. I don't know...I've just been in the mood for that lately. Curious if you guys have an opinion one way or the other. Dancers can comment on the pros and cons if they want.

I prefer the full shave-age. But if it's small, short, and neatly trimmed...s'ok.

^^^ Good to know. I fit into the teeny weeny thin landing strip category above the lady parts. I don't like to be totally bare & feel like a child... but I despise having hairs that:

- cause me to itch... especially when trying to get to sleep
- poke out of clothes or panties
- make me worry about showing while in a bikini
- have me worrying about $500 fines in places like CO where they ticket dancers for stray hairs outside the g-string/thong.

I like it all - from hard wood floors to anything short of a chia pet.

Oh who am I kidding.......I'll take the chia pet look too.

I'm thinking the trend to shave it all off came from a desire to look exotic. Well, it doesn't have that effect anymore. :D

I think a few pinks who are looking to shake things up, should let it grow for a while and report back with their results. You would get my attention where you otherwise might not, just because it's so rare these days.

I think we need incentive... something really hard... cold...cash. }:D

I'll take hair for $200, Alex.

The bald thing just looks prepubescent and unappealing. I understand there can be practical reasons for fully shaving, but it's rather aesthetically lacking.

I tend to prefer the landing strip but I'm flexible. A lot depends on the lady in question. Most of my favorite dancers have a Brazilian racing stripe, one is fully shaved. She is past 30 so the whole pre-pubescent thing isn't an issue for me.

Same goes for escorts. I have two regs right now, one with a small triangle and one who is completely shaved. It's actually a little easier to hit the right spot on the girl with the triangle when I go down on her as it serves as a frame of reference...}:D

First, I enjoy a landing strip, triangle, diamond, heart, or whatever on the lady. But I would prefer a complete shave over the full bush 70s style. That said, if she is good, she is good.

I read somewhere that pubic hair is is a very elemental thing, retaining the scent for mating purposes. Who knows. We are much more visual now.

I prefer to stay completely shaven. I never liked it on me and that idea certainly hasn't changed. It is so uncomfortable and to be honest, it scares me when I see it. i don't mind if it's a little...but on someone else not me.

I like my husbands face to have a clean shave and he too likes my kitty to be cleanly shaved. It is much more appealing for the both of us. But you know what, I don't like bush on men either. ;) I lucked out with one that is okay with that. We both groom ourselves very well for each other.

As for this apparently, according to my husband, I don't need anything to help keep any kind of appealing scent in. He notices it immediately even when I don't. To be honest it must just be pheromones because I never smell it but he does and he gets incredibly excited. ;D

I have this sexual fantasy where I have a full bush. Weird huh? Growing up, it used to be sexy and a bit taboo to have the strip or bald, then it became de riguer. Now, in my sick little mind, its just naughty and nasty to think of having a full bush again. But I'm so used to keeping it trimmed, sometimes shaved, sometimes waxed.

With my previous boyfriend, I let it grow out a few times, for a few weeks or so. But we were together for a while and I just didn't care, nor did he. Seeing a new guy now and making the effort. But its such a PIA.

Yeah, its sexy! However, I am not a very hairy girl, so even when mine grows out, it never looks too bad, doesn't go to high or low...

FBR
09-03-2010, 07:55 PM
^ I guess that was what I was getting at. Smooth has become the norm in clubs or in porn etc. A bush makes an alternative sexual statement which I think can be alluring to some of us depending upon the girl.

Yes, $500 fee for the club & $500 fee for the dancer in topless clubs that serve alcohol.

Awfully odd rules and laws. I often wonder who thinks up this crap. Do they really sit in a legislative committee room and discuss whether pubic hairs peeking out a bikini bottom are sexually provocative? They ought to spend their time thinking about more important stuff.

Nonetheless, I prefer some hair. Completely shaved looks either prepubescent as others have mentioned or quite aged. Neither is particularly sexy.

Legislators planning to get re-elected think up this crap. I've never been in the committee room, but most newer state reps are dweebs who just want to get their name on a bill that will please the "family values" crowd, and help them keep their sweet gig. Nobody ever lost more votes than they gained (maybe in SF ??) by getting tough on the sex industry.

I have become used to the fact that almost all strippers now shave it all off, but it doesn't really excite me anymore because it's commonplace. I'd like to see a little variety.

Supposed to have an RR lotion fun this coming Saturday if my expected play money arrives. Miss D has been letting it grow a little bit and I asked her to continue until then (other than a trim to keep things neat outside her thong). She has a fairly substantial potential bush (I've seen the "stubble") so I am curious about the results of her shaving abstention.

I have been in a committee room watching a mark-up. It's ugly even when it's on a piece of legislation with real significance. Which is why I wonder how they deal with this when it's time to draft or amend proposed legislation. I have not been privy to that particular legislative mark-up. I can only imagine the conversation, though. You are correct that nobody ever lost many votes getting tough on sex. Makes me wanna puke.

I clicked on this because my cat is always jumping onto the kitchen counter and trying to get in on my breakfast. Puss hair everywhere all the time. There should be some kind of legislation to deal with this epidemic. And as an aside, what's up with Japan pixelating pubic hair? Back to you in the studio, Jim.

I was standing in line at the grocery store, and noticed the current cover of Cosmo. After soaking in the fine cover photo of Jessica Alba, I saw one of the article headlines titled: Untamed Va-jay-jays. So I guess the ladies are having the same conversation!

I don't understand Japan at all. Don't shave your cat, though. I foresee some PETA hostility on whether there was informed consent.

^ Alas, dancers here are in the upper 1 percentile in terms of education etc so I doubt a reminder from us would affect their business models one way or the other. Sucks to be us that our wisdom is ignored ;) On the other hand if they saw a potentially profitable trend of getting bushy especially if promoted by Hollywood they would be all over it. An itch vs dollars. Oh my, what shall they do? }:D

;) indeed ! But I keep thinking that things aren't working like they used to in this economy and I can see from other forums that dancers are coming on here looking for tips for coping with the recession. If we can drop a hint, some painless change she could try for a short time that might lead to more attention, maybe a few will give it a try. Maybe even 1 or 2 will show up at a club I frequent, and be rewarded. Who knows where it might lead ?

Agreed, the process would go faster if Cosmo would now decree that letting it grow out is the next new thing :D.

I'm not a trend follower lol sry. I would still get rid of it. ;) Just personal preference. I figured if it made me uncomfortable by not shaving and it creeped me out...that would hurt my hustle, big time. so I just did was made me feel most comfortable.

Well I presume she is still regularly stripping and must shave the bush to keep it from coming out of her bikini line at work? That's a rule in many places. Whatever else happened...I have the curious, but of course its not my business (unless you want to PM an old friend. ;) )

As I am a rather oral sort I like it, if present, to be neatly trimmed and shaved away from the labia and clitoris so as to make pleasing an effortless event that doesn't require picking hair out of my teeth later.

On the same order, I think there is nothing wrong with a guy doing the same for his Lady. You don't want to make yourself look pre-pubescent but shaving the balls and keeping the rest trimmed I find is usually appreciated.

I get the feeling that your "expectations" in this case are a bit beyond grooming issues. Sorry to hear FBR...

Something well trimmed above the kitty is nice: landing strip, etc. I probably enjoy the total shave more if she has some fuller lips. I prefer that ladies with little or no protruding labia would have some hair just north of the pretty lady.

I've always hated shaving bare, but I assumed men hated hair! Seeing this discussion got me thinking, so I asked a few customers. They don't seem to mind a little hair. Yay! I'm proud to announce I'm now the owner of a very cute landing strip!;)
