I would love to work in Guam, but I don't know what I'd do about my chihuahua. Having her stay with someone else for a few month is out of the question, and I'd feel awful if she was in quarantine. I suppose I'll never get to know since I think I maybe have 3-4 years left of dancing, and my puppy has at least 10 more years of life. :(

No. As of 2010 all strip clubs are 21+

^where did you work? That's illegal as fuck, actually. The club(s) could get in serious trouble for hiring underage dancers. That's like, foundation for getting shut the fuck down :/

Even if clubs are hiring underage girls, you have to understand that there is a high risk level associated with that kind of scenario because it is ILLEGAL, and therefore, I would never recommend that someone who is underage actually work in Guam.
Customers, employees and dancers have to be 21 or over to DRINK but customers, employees and dancers only need to be 18 and up to enter and work. The real issue is that most clubs don’t want to deal with dancers that are under 21 sneaking drinks so most clubs don’t hire under 21.

But the claim that its illegal is NOT TRUE

That's like, foundation for getting shut the fuck down :/
LOL ABC is a fucking JOKE they rarely enforce laws and when they do its only a slap on the wrist like shutting down the club/bar for 24 to 48 hours and a fine for serving underage people

For an extra fee and the proper vet paper work you can bypass the 2 week quarantine and do a 3 day quarantine

Thank you neverenough! I can def handle an extra fee, money really isn't an issue. Three days would be tough, but I think she could handle that. I think I may be planning a strip trip to guam after I turn 21! :D

Yes, clubs in Guam do hire underage dancers. Underage girls are just not allowed to drink at all.

Yes, we make money off selling "ladies drinks", but it doesn't have to be alcohol at all. The whole point of it is that customer basically pays for talking to the girl. So it's perfectly fine to be even over 21 and be drinking cranberry juice and shots of water all night :)

BINGO!

Something else that needs to be said in this topic is that the clubs will pay ANYONE that recruits a dancer to come work for their club in Guam.

Guam is not bad if you are seeking a paid vacation but don’t expect to bank. Most of the locals don’t spend, the tourist rarely spend and when they changed the drinking age from 18 to 21 the clubs lost a good percentage of their military customers. The military on island are not big spenders and the ships don’t come in like they used to and there where the real money is.

How much do they pay to recruit?

How much do they pay to recruit?

It can be as little as $25 per girl or as high as $1800 for recruiting a girl that fulfills a 90 day contract. But it all comes down to club and the deal you work out with said club.

I want to go in late Dec/early Jan too:) I've emailed some with Mano, but haven't heard back from him since last week (then again my iphone is silly sometimes with sending emails). How long does it often take for the getting everything set process? I just sent an app to Club USA, though Vikings sounds more my style. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences, I'm sure I'll have more questions soon:)

I havent heard from Mano either. I was advised to avoid Dreamgirls. So it may be gspot for me.

I guess the club can tell you when booking how long the setting up takes. I may not go til late Jan bc I need some $$$ in the bank, at least if I dont have what makes a r/t flight.

DG assistant did say to have some kind of insurance, bc one never knows what can happen.Yeah:O and double check the a/c's work as its always above 79 degrees there...right?

Also I was told there's a place to get your Passport there in case you didnt get one here before you left and they cost the same, about 130.00.

Being bought out totally warns me off 'tho, it all seems so haphazard. I havent decided how to deal with any of that, and I know about the grabbing and groping...oi!:O

Athena, my warning, do NOT go to Dreamgirls. There is something about that place that is always horribly depressing. This might sound kinda weird but me and girls used to talk about, as soon as you get to the area that club is there is a horrible vibe, not just because it is extremely dead all the time. Other than, lol, anything supernatural, the owner is always in a horrible, sometimes almost hostile mood, seeing her atleast smile was a good day. The fines there are horrible, she would actually fine me numerous times for one thing, when I tried to tell her she had fined me for that last week she would just yell and say she didn't want to hear it and slam my money on the counter. Not many military go there or Japanese, mostly locals, the girls that do make money there are well established and only make money off their regulars. One good thing about DG, they had the best stage and 2 poles, one that rotates.

The boob groping thing, 90% of girls allow it, usually its for the average tipper, it doesn't require a tip in the double digits. G Spot has the least contact on stage because of the stage is setup different, it is higher up unlike other clubs that are more level with the customers and have a platform tiprail thing.

The money isn't that great, Guam is best if you want to come out for a working vacation to get away and try something new, not to bank. There are lots of girls who love Guam, including me, the girls that love it are the ones that know they aren't going to get rich. The ones that hate it, well 90% of the time they believed the club ad that said they would make $15,000 a month. What clubs don't tell also is that they hold your plane ticket money as a deposit until you work enough days to pay it off. It took me over a month to get my first paycheck. When you do start getting a paycheck, if you stay in housing it will be $400, not $450 for utilities. Most nights you will walk out with something, over $200 is a good night though. Even if you average $100 a night, you are still making almost $4,000 a month with your paycheck and there are going to be nights you do better than $100, and nights you do worse.

Everywhere I worked only required 5 days a week, I've heard USA makes you work 6 from a few girls even after your contract is done. When I worked at Vikings I only did 4 days a week, not on contract. If you want to stay after your contract and you don't live in housing most places are pretty lenient on how many days you want to work and the days you can have off.

Reaally!? 200$$ on a good shift!?&y is Guam such a popular subject to even think about dancing?? im confused.. It seems like there would be $$ there cuz of military but averaging 100$ a night can be done in the middle of nowhere montana or sumplace so why is it that I am always hearing pple talk about guam? is it maybe hit&miss like sometimes u come out with 1000 plus per night&other times u just don't?

Heading out Thursday! Quick q's:

Tried to find info on Club USA, mostly mixed, seems the general consensus is just that a lot of girls have had issues with the management. Any other thoughts about how it is to work there?

Saw in another thread that clubs can "buy" a girls contract from another club? Is this true? I thought the owners and managers all know each other ands hare info on the girls ...

Phone: should I just get a temp cell, or bring my iPhone and/or Sprint (family plan!) phone?

Is it better to open a checking account here, or just send money orders? Recommendations for free checking?

Thanks so much!

I worked in Guam a year and half ago, and I'm headed back again soon. I love it there, the weather, the people, even the work environment. I'm a terrible dancer, so I love that most of your money is made by selling drinks and champagne rooms. The money is really up and down, though. $60 one night, to $1800 the next (mostly from one guy, and I married him two months later [worst decision EVER!!]) This time around I'm not falling for anyone and it's all about the $$ and vacation from "real life". I plan on staying 2 years or more!! It is a wonderful place and the only way you can truly understand it, is by just going!! Best decision I ever made in my life, just pack up and GO.

The best time to come to Guam is the first half of the year, I would recommend coming out anytime from January to March so your contract is up before slow time hits and you are here during the busiest times. For your second question, I recommend reading through this thread from the beginning, this question has been covered more than once and is still relevant.

So it seems that these posts about clubs in Guam are super outdated so I did read all of these but still have a few questions... seeking info from girls who have been out there semi-recently, in the last 2 years? So here goes...

1. I will be working for Vikings, Club USA, or Gspot. Are all of these three still legit and bringing in money? (Also got an offer from Dreamgirls but not even going to bother with that as I've heard).

2. I will be going out there in the wet season. (September through November). Is there ANY potential for money to be made during this time? I understand that there isn't a HUGE potential for money in Guam but mostly am going because of the low fees, paid airfare, accommodation, and guarantee of salary. But will I make at least 100 or 150 on most nights?

3. Where do girls receive health care in the area?

4. While I do have experience with lapdances, and some floor work/ stage dancing have minimal pole dancing skills. Do most of the girls have really good pole dancing skills, and for girls like me who do not, will there be opportunity off hours to learn them at Vikings or possibly the other two clubs? Thanks! xo

Anyhow, thanks to any who can help with this!

I'm the original OP of this thread but I did leave Guam in September 2013, my advice is mostly still relevant and I still have friends out there I regularly talk to. All 3 of the clubs are still the top ones to go to and don't forget there's also Foxy's up there on the list with those 3. Good move on not going to DreamGirls. I'll be honest and say that one of my friends that was there longer than me has been disappointed with the money the last couple of years, that it isn't what it used to be pre 2013 and that when she leaves this time she will not be going back. You will still make money of course or no one would work there but I can't tell you how much. That depends on your hustle and how well you adjust to going out there. Is $100-$150 a night doable? I would say yes unless you just don't try at all. Wet season is usually slower but it doesn't start really slowing down to making it dreadful until closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Health care on Guam really sucks. Just hope u don't have an issue where you need major medical care on island. There's plenty of regular doctors offices for regular visits, PMC and American Medical are two I recommend. Avoid having to to to GMH at all costs.

You do not need pole dancing skills in Guam, most girls don't focus on a whole lot of pole tricks. Some do but it's nothing to worry about. You will make most of your tips from guys sitting around the tip rail, going up to them and working the rail so you won't have the time for many pole tricks anyways when it's busy. There is usually plenty of time to go up and practice when the club is slow if yo want to do that.

I honestly don't think it is as terrible as it's made out to be unless you have something really serious happen. If someone is in a really bad accident they are sent to Naval Hospital or sometimes they won't even have the equipment needed so the person is usually airlifted to Honolulu at that point. You can't go to Naval Hospital as a regular visit unless you have some affiliation with the Military though.

What does REALLY suck is mental health care. I have very severe anxiety and panic disorder and I ended up having a breakdown on island. I needed a psych bad but there were only like 2 on island and one wasn't taking patients, the other had like a 6 month waiting list. I looked into alternatives and ended up trying hypnotherapy. I'm glad I did find that because it was an interesting experience and something I probably wouldn't have tried in any other circumstance. That hypno therapist ended up leaving island but I think there are others there. I still needed medication for my anxiety and my regular doctor prescribed what I needed. I recommended all of my friends to him at PMC so if you wanna decent regular doctor you can PM me I'll tell his name to you that way.

OH DEAR! (The thing about the lack of psych for anxiety). I am bringing enough anxiety meds with me for the whole 3 months so hope that won't be an issue.

And speaking of of anxiety, am starting to have some about this trip... I was told that you don't need a passport or birth certificate to enter Guam, so didn't bother to get either ready since I didn't think I needed one. Now am getting a LOT of mixed info both online and and from people. I do have a NYS issued ID, though. I really hope they don't give me hell about this as I am flying out next week. Have heard you just need to get a passport to leave Guam, so was going to get one while I'm out there.

Has anyone had problems getting into Guam from the US mainland without a passport?!! Someone from the club told me to give some sort of story about having left my passport in my military boyfriend's stuff before he left accidentally but SO don't want to get caught making up some lie if I can't help it, haha. (My connecting flight is in Hawaii so won't be touching down on foreign land).

Ok it worked, cool so anyways no you don't need a passport to go to Guam if yu go through Hawaii, you will if you go through Japan. Leaving island was a little more difficult. I had a Guam ID to leave island, they did ask for a passport or other forms of ID so I showed them copies of my birth certificate and social security card, they ran my social security number to check me and I was cleared to go through with no issues. When you leave Guam and go back through Hawaii you have to go through their internation customs as well. I showed them my Guam ID along with my Social Security card and birth certificate, they cleared me to go trough. So yes if you get a passport you will be fine, if not ten yes definitely have other forms of ID for customs to leave Guam. Oh I only used a state ID to get to Guam and I had no issues with only having that and wasn't asked for other forms of ID.

Have you ever heard of a dancer disappearing there MiraMichele? I've heard some creepy stories about Guam. Also, is it true that they want to hold your passport? And, since you have a contract, they might not let you work much so you're stuck there much longer than your contract. Are these horror stories true?

No absolutely not true. I haven't heard of a dancer ever disappearing there, I mean it could happen I guess but that could happen anywhere. No they don't hold your passport or any forms of you ID. And no your contract is I think 72 working days or somewhere close to that number. You will be required to work 5 days a week or 6 depending on how many girls the club has, your contract will be done in that time frame. If you choose to stay after your contract you can choose to work less days once off contract. Guam is a safe American destination. Not sure who told you that stuff but that's pure false bull lol.

Thanks! It was a few dancers i met working in the Midwest. The story could've been a crock of sh*t! However, one part of the story could've been true. And that was their friend, a dancer that disappeared from there. But maybe the rest of the story was inaccurate. Many dancers tell a lot of "tall" tales.

Well I never heard a story like that when I was there. Maybe a girl did disappear sometime in the many years they have been bringing girls out but word gets around fast there and I know something like that didn't haven in my time there. Some dancers are notorious for their taletales lol. It could have some the to it but more than likely it was he said she said he said She said and so on from hundreds of different people until the whole story changes lol.

Hi girls, I'm a dancer from the Gold Coast Australia..looking to go to Guam for a 2 month contract ( September - November) this year.
I've read through all the Guam threads I could find so I've got a pretty good understanding of how everything works. I am going primarily to get away
not because I want to make massive amounts of money although I would expect to come back with something.
I just want to get away, see somewhere new, work, chill, save as much as I can then go home :)

So it's good to see these posts from today let alone this year because I was starting to worry that it may have run its course.
I have contacted Foxy's but am interested in Vikings club ..from what I've read it seems to be the general favourite. I read that Vikings attracts more of the navy guys, is generally busy and that dancer accommodation is very close and you get your own room. Can anyone confirm any of that? Foxy's sounds good though they at least have contacted me back and given me lots of information on the club and pay etc. Any info on either of these clubs would be super appreciated. I have emailed Vikings but haven't heard back yet. Can anyone help me get in contact with them? Thankyou :) xxx

^^ Yes Vikins housing is very close to the club, you can walk and take 2 minutes to get there. You will have your own room if there aren't more than 3 girls including yourself living in the condo, it's only 3 bedrooms.

Mano is very bad about responding to emails, either keep trying or even Google the phone number to call to talk to him.

Foxy's is also good if you want to go there if you don't hear back from Vikings. I don't know what else to say about Foxy's besides it's up there with the better clubs to go too. You probably won't have your own room in housing and even though their housing isn't that far from the club you probably won't want to walk, it's up a pretty steep long hill.

Turns out I am going to be working at Club USA which I have heard that the club and housing is nice, but that the owner (Pat) can be incredibly difficult.. so ha. Anyone with specifics on difficult HOW though would be good. I am pretty thick skinned, but also human and have a limit. YA KNOW? Still looking forward to spending time on the island.

^ I mean, compared to mano who was super lax I guess he could be considered difficult, but I didn't think he was totally unreasonable. I think he just had a much lower BS tolerance than some of his fellow owners. Of course, I'm usually that one person who's opinion differs from everyone else's, so it's probably no different in this case.

I swear, MiraMichele, the club's out there need to start paying you to be the official Guam spokeswoman already, lol.

I actually liked Pat and had no issues with him, like ever. Yea some girls do have issues with him but those are the girls that constantly break the rules. I always found Pat to be pretty chill personally and wondered why so many girls got intimidated by him.

Okay, cool. I am not really a rule breaker and I stay away from drama so between you and MyButter... feel a little bit more at ease. Looks like he's flying me out on Saturday (48 hour total flight. EEEEK. Going to see if my doc will give write me a script for one or two ambien so I can just sleep on the longest stretches of it, like the 9 hour stretch).

When is the best time of year to work in Guam?

So I hadn't logged into SW since I left for Guam and now I am actually back stateside but let me just say that a) guess I was not one of the girls who was able to get along with Pat and actually went over to Foreplay for a short stint before I decided that dancing on Guam was just not for me... had gotten a job at Shamrock (just a regular bar/ restaurant) waitressing and bartending to save up money to leave but then my boyfriend surprised me with a plane ticket back the same day he was leaving.

Definitely was an experience that I do not regret and met a lot of extremely amazing people and there is the potential to make good money there, though mostly the girls who were making bank were at Foxy's, is the busiest club right now. Club USA is pretty slow and although I have seen Pat be cool to some of the higher earning girls there, I got REALLY sick when I first got there, doctor's notes and everything, and still got fined out the ass. Also he thought I was not making as much as I should have been even though I did really well some nights, sold many private dances, and even a few buy outs but never seemed to be enough. So to me, I found him to be unforgiving and obnoxious. Just me, though, some girls get along with him swimmingly.

One good thing about Club USA right now is that there is a GOOD group of girls there right now, some of who I made really good friends with, and girls from other clubs, too that are just awesome. I was surprised by the lack of drama dancer related on that island. Not to say that it was void of it or anything, but it's pretty damn low compared to other places. Maybe that's just at the moment because have heard horrible stories about dancer drama in the past.

I actually am going to write an honest review of everything Guam in a separate post, from the clubs, the girls, the island itself, the club patrons, and even my happy ending which resulted in a proposal and there is a good chance now that I will become an Air Force spouse in the near future to the most loving man I have ever met in my life. And I didn't meet him in the club! ;) Til then, I am happy to have flown back to NY yesterday but will sort of miss that weird yet amazing island.

I've been here at Club USA for a week so I'm wondering if I met you...... Since I've been here for a total of 8 days there have been 2 girls quit. I have had only 3 nights where I have made over $100 AND I have experienced a "half day" twice, which means they close the club early because it's so slow and our pay is cut in half. $75 divided by two...... I hope coming out here wasn't a mistake because I'm not making shit and I'm definitely starting to regret it.....
