^ And let's be honest, even if you were to subscribe to DW for the rest of your life (which could get pricey), if it helps you sell even a few more LD's a month, it pays for itself. Hard to argue with that logic!
Subscribe? I don't think there's a monthly fee is there? He just saw this post and had a heart attack. Can someone please clarify for us?

Yep, in order to LOWER the cost of entry (the old product was $300) we reduced the up front cost by 66%.
It costs less than one lapdance a month (19 bucks) to maintain your membership and/or you can transfer it to the advanced courses.
We are noticing that a lot of people will join, and then cancel within a month...which is unfortunate. Many of these people didn't even activate their email correspondence course which is the method of delivering much of the members-only information!!
As a result of this feedback (feedback isn't failure...something we teach at Bootcamp!!) we are designing different price and access levels and plan to invite ALL former members who have since cancelled back...but the computer "stuff" (for lack of a better term) isn't ready yet.
Its been such a learning curve for me, and I appreciate all the feedback I get from SW about how I can make the site better.

^ Keep us updated on that, please! I'll admit, I cancelled after the first month because of the scary recurring payments (I hate having recurring payments). But the new plan sounds much more palatable.
I also would've enjoyed a bit more structure in the course...a bit more organization. I wasn't even aware of the e-mail correspondence course!
Keep up the good work girl!

I really like the e-mails. It's a great way to have everything structured and keep loyal customers like myself( since 2006!) coming back. I also like the forums on there because it is a way to connect with other industry people, I just wish people would respond more.
I don't think 19 is alot. When I first went to the course I spent close to 1000 for a one day course! I especially like that Rebecca is a 24 hour mentor, she answers e-mails, txt, forums, and voicemails anytime you need her and its someone who works in the industry with you so she understands exactually what you are dealing with always a plus.
I really like all the videos. Sometimes information alone isn't processed but when you have someone speaking to you that you can go back to and take notes it helps all learning styles.
I do hope that the OP of this particular forum wises up and either talks to RebeccaAvalon personally and privately about any "problems" she/he is having or stops the slander because no one appreciates it. Also if someone is unwilling to meet up with or speak to me personally even by phone I would be worried.

Thank you so much for the feedback!
I just returned from a 5 day retreat in the woods of East Texas. It was called Journey of the Online Entrepreneur. It was there that I learned a couple of things I'd like to share with my SW friends.
1. I had NO CLUE how to run an internet coaching business! LOL! Luckily I now have more than a clue...I have a plan and a course of action! I cannot say THANK YOU enough to the SWers who have been with me since Day 1.
2. Look for lots of new products. I have a ton of ideas, and they are already being implemented on. This includes permanent access to the Core DW videos, an optional subscription service, an optional mentoring service, and more. I'm also creating some stand-alone products that are gonna ROCK! I'm sooooo motivated and supercharged! If you aren't on my mailing list, click on the link in my siggy.
3. "My mission is to create motivating and fulfilling relationships with my students, friends, and family" I had to scream that out to the universe before I walked across 20 feet of glowing embers. Yep...I WALKED ON FIRE!!! It was so empowering.
4. I overcame my FEAR (False Expectations Appearing Real) over expanding SGR. One of my biggest FEARS was the fear of success. I was afraid that if SGR got too big, then I would have to live up to the expectations of everyone that I'm some superhero who makes $1000/night (um...I don't)
If you are on Facebook, Check out my facebook page for pics of me conquering my FEAR of Heights (by climbing up a 30 foot pole, standing ontop, then leaping out 10 feet to grab a trapeze) My FEAR of blood (by walking across 5 feet of broken glass) and my FEAR of success (by walking across fire)
Charlie, PM me if you want to get on the previous member email list. I DID send out 28 emails to former members who cancelled out of the email list so your invitation may be in your email box.

Ditto.
I'd be interested in joining again, but I don't want to go through the entire first month payment process again.
Can't wait to hear more!

I really love the emails. So much easier to apply the lessons!
Question about the optional subscription thing: does that mean videos will be permanently viewable by people who bought SGR, but we don't have to pay the 19/mo to see them (at the loss of the forums etc)?

Without the membership, the system will just redirect you to the log in page.
We are tossing around some other ideas too. I want to create more of a community feel.
I'm SO glad the weekly emails are helping! Thanks for the feedback!
