^^
If the label doesn't apply to you, don't wear it. I don't think you have a drug problem (something very big in here), nor you look like a ten year old girl.
There's a thin line between being skinny, and being waif; it seems a lot of people in here clearly thought I was bashing both.
I don't know why so many people got all pissy by this thread. Like I said, if the label doesn't suit you, don't wear it.
Ah, in reference of my first post, I never bashed the barbie look in this thread. I've done it in other threads, but not in this one, and using those other threads to justify your anger (you know who I'm talking about) towards me in here, is very low of your part. That look looks good on some people, but not good in everyone. Like I said, that look doesn't go with me.
Ummm you mentioned specific measurements (above 5'4", 34B) Hello Im 5'7", 118lbs and was a 34A. You also actually side that in your other job 34 24 24 is unhealthy. Thats probably why we would take it personally. I dont even know what other threads people are talking about. Im just saying you really wouldnt know whether any particular waif or barbie is healthy or not since you have never had that body type. You cant make massive generalisations and then expect that no one will be offended. I certainly dont think all overweight chicks are lazy and bad eaters.

Since you're so smart, why don't you don't do any other things with that degree in math other than stripping? I mean, aren't you saving for grad school, certifications, and things like that? Or you still expect to look like a twenty something when you hit your sixties?
You should know that beauty is not everlasting, right? So, isn't it a go to grad school, get certifications and do other things (in the future) besides stripping.
I mean, you said you did four times as much as I do for my six hour day shift. Aren't you saving to further your education and your profession?
first off, im good at math. why would i pay to go to grad school? i have a good gpa, research experience, and a solid set of references and i am assuming that if i took the GRE i would do well since im a good test taker. Grad schools would probably be paying me to go to grad school. slave wages for slave hours to be a research, but it wouldnt be out of my pocket.
and considering i make more than 110$ a night (::)) i probably dont need to follow a normal course to get by even after i am done with stripping. many women start their own businesses with money they make stripping. my goal in life is to always be my own boss. and i am thus far achieving this goal and probably will continue to achieve this goal way past my dancing days.
just because your way is a more standard way doesnt make it the best way. like avery said, we arent a bunch of stupid strippers. many of us know what we are doing....
Just wow. First off how can you justify dancing/stripping as a way to cope with a sex addiction? That's a joke. A big fucking joke. Idk if u seek help for it or have ever went to SAA but this would def not be in the 12 steps. You should swallow all the turds your spewing out of your mouth filled with bullshit. And 110 is a joke. A joke, joke, fucking joke joke, fucking joke! Ugh I'm sweet as pie and u make me want to say the most degrading things to you. I'm 32B-24-36 I'm a skinny coke bottle and damned healthy. Do you know guys talk abt your type all the time? Your bitter. I bet your the type who say "skinny girls are evil" grrr I just can't right now.

Agree!
Stripping is not a cure for sex addiction.
It is also not a cure for mental issues... UGH!

You know what gets me about this? While it is wrong for managers in clubs to be hiring only what they think is attractive. Huni, where in the world in this does it make you a doctor to be calling girls smaller than you sickly and unhealthy? Are you their doctor, or nurse personally? Do you know their health history or something. To be honest I think they may have been mocking you as already said. Everyone makes a different amount to what is good for them. But by no means should your amount or anyones for that matter, make anyone think they are better or work at the better place. We are all different and should be accepted as so. And I am so over hearing people complain about thin girls. Until two years ago I was around 100lbs. And I am 5'2". Very short, very thin. I hate when people pick me up because they assume I'm so small it must be okay. Or "Oh she is too tiny, it wouldn't be a fair fight." Got new for ya, just because I am this small does not mean I don't pack a punch. I have more curve to me and I love it. And even when I was thinner, I was very healthy, I was pure muscle, and I was lean. But never would I find it necessary to point out how unhealthy someone else must be over the way they look, unless they literally are sick. My point is that while we understand what you were originally trying to say, you really could have gone about it a better way. And yes, please stop using the term 'waif' it is incredibly offensive to those that really get called that already.

seriously. I'm really thin (5'6 100lbs) and I probably eat more than all the dancers at my club combined. I eat like every 2 hours. I eat healthy foods but I also eat a TON of junk food. I can finish a big mac by myself lol.
it hurts to hear people say how "disgustingly thin" I am when there's REALLY nothing I can do about it. I can't gain weight. fat just falls right off me.

what GiGi said^^. IMO OP, you sound like a hater. My dancer weight is 88 lbs and i am 5'2" NATURALLY. i DON'T do diets unless you consider eating high calorie foods in an effort to gain weight as a diet? i've also never had an ED or drug problem. and i actually look very healthy thank you very much. while you are entitled to your opinion it sounds really bitchy and jealous when you say shit like "thin girls do not look appealing" because the thinner girls could say the exact same thing about you. idk either way this thread is VERY condescending. i don't clown on bigger girls and i think it's extremely annoying and offensive when they think it's ok to pick on me because i'm "skinny so it shouldn't hurt my feelings". bitch please! take that shit somewhere else!
oh, and pixie i couldn't agree with you more. i abso-fucking-lutely hate it when bitches think that i cannot hold my own just b/c i'm small. i have seen some skinny people fuck some shit up!

I'm so glad i'm not alone on this one. Since damn middle school girls would grab my wrist/arm and go "your soooo skinny!". Even now i have had a "bigger" women call me "Ethiopian" to my face cause she was bitter about the store not having shorts in her size. She blamed ME for it. Its sad. Just cause i'm naturally skinny doesn't mean i have it easier. Actually its rather hard. There are girls like the OP out there that are bitter and take it out on us, its hard to find your damn size in things, and people automatically assume we're weaker/unhealthy/sick. The grass is not always greener on the other side.

^that same EXACT shit has happened to me. i grew up very active with a mother who cooked very healthy meals. and yet people asked me if i had an eating disorder just because i was thin. i've always been thin, it's genetic...my mom has always been thin, same with my grandmother and aunt. even the men are on the thin side. i don't go around calling people overweight unhealthy or sickly, even though when you look at the rising and very high death rate for complications of obesity.
and kayla is right working in a strip club is not a cure for addiction or mental illness...imo it can really make it worse unless you're in another form of treatment.
oh and btw jay i like how you assume they're on coke and crack and that's why they're skinny. ::)

Americans overdo things. Either we glorify the heroin chic look or we stuff our faces with Burger King and have a "No fat talk" awareness week and obesity acceptance groups. It's just the way this goddamn country is.
http://edition.cnn.com/2010/LIVING/10/21/no.fat.talk.week/?hpt=Mid
I try to lead a balanced approach to things. And also, not all thin girls are crackheads... my friend has Crohn's disease and she would trade places with anyone. Now....I do own up to ranting on my twitter page about rampant obesity in America and other weight related topics. Just throwing that out there since this thread is turning into Total Drama Island IV. I'm not a perfect saint when it comes to "hating". I can be quite vicious if I'm in a bad mood. I just prefer to own up to it preemptively.

I would actually prefer to work at one of those waif only clubs because then I won't have to worry about wondering if this customer is going to like my body type because he will be there knowing that all the girls are waifs. I work at a mixed club with so many different body types and sometimes I approach a guy who likes a very curvy girl and it just wastes my time talking to him cuz he is not going to be into me, he'll be thinking of that other dancer with the big booty. I think that management sometimes hire who THEY are attracted to.
Also I think that $110 a night is defnitely very low.
I happen to be under 100 lbs and I'm very healthy. It's genetic.

It bothers me that people really do care what other women say about their bodies. It. really. fucking. bothers. me.
As long as you're making money.. who gives a fuck? As long as your regulars.. hell husband, boyfriend or girlfriend thinks you're hot who cares? I cannot get in on this argument. It is pointless. Like an above poster said you cannot fix stupid so why bother yourselves. This might sound really cliche but we are all beautiful in our own unique way. Skinny is out and has been for awhile. It is in to have a little meat on your bones now a days! SKINNY IS OUT .. Yes I said it! This is coming from someone that is a size 5. Standing 5'9, 36c-24-36 and I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks about it! There is nothing like loving yourself and being confident in your own skin.
Seriously ladies, ..This really is pointless. The media has it's own opinion about what is "HOT" but the media has also drove a lot of people batshit crazy!

I would have hit that lady in her fat face!
Even when I was growing up, I constantly got called "bean pole", "Olive Oil", "Stick"...and yeah, I'd go home and cry. Then finding clothes was damn near impossible. If they fit in the waist, they'd be too short. If they fit in the legs, they'd be too big on the waist...
Back then, I would cry about and hate myself for it.
These days though, I'm no longer a "bean pole".
Just freaking Amazon woman....giant ass stripper..lol
Ah, how I kinda miss those "bean pole" days LOL :P

Thin girls get picked on for being thin, regular or about average sized girls get picked on for being bigger. Everyone hates everyone....Except those on the same team of course. F it all really....Sometimes u just got to say F it and keep moving on in life....

Ehhh...... I'm glad you got this stuff off your chest. But why not focus your energy on doing your thing and not concerning yourself with other chicks.
All you can do is work in the right club for what ever hustle/look/style/body type/etc. you have and make the best of every night.
The fact is, clubs don't care about what you think or feel. They want to attract a certain type of guy with a certain type of girl and make money. Keep in mind, I agree with you... I like clubs where gals span the spectrum. But since I do not spend money in these clubs, my opinion is pretty much a whole lotta nothing.
Put on your blinders and focus on getting that cash. Don't worry about anyone else.
Just do you.

I've been trying to stay out of this conversation but that website is European (they ask you to pay in euros), so I don't think you can say it's JUST Americans. More like the entire Westernized world, where food is a luxury.
Anyways, I had NO idea there was a skinny fetish. I should have, but I didn't. :o

wow. some of you girls are taking this wayyy to personal. There are some angry strippers on here! haha!
I don't mean to ruffle feathers or piss someone off, but this is water off the duck's back. Some of you girls need to just relax. I'm not saying that EVERYONE is acting pissy...but some of you have become quite hostile. She apparently did not know what she was really getting into whenever she made the obvious mistake of saying what she said.
No worries! Just let it go you guys.

I'd like to know how many chicks in here can say that: say that if they weren't dancing, they could do something just as lucrative. Beauty is not eternal, no matter how many plastic surgeries people may have, so there should always be other options.
This person is socially retarded.
Bitch, in 5 years I will be a dentist, and even w/o my education I am more cultured than you.
Who do you think you are and why would you generalize and say we have multiple plastic sugeons? I have never had any plastic surgery, but if I had your low-self esteem issues, I would pay out the ying yang to get fixed!
Even if I had plastic surgery, you have no right to judge how I choose to spend my $$.
Also, it is unenlightened to say that a petite girl couldn't handle military duties. I have a friend who is 5'2" and 120lbs and is a Marine. I myself am 5'4" and 119lbs and I run half marathons.
This person is ridiculous, and is either a poster who is just messing with us, or an extremely hateful female who should be banned.

and honestly, who gives a fuck about the media. what, you think by choosing to be anti barbie as a stripper is making a statement? wow. real original. gold starz for you. you think nerd glasses and knowing computer terms make you above the barbies? thats retarded. you dont need nerd glasses to be smart as fuck... im one of them there blonde fake tan girls who will have fake tits within the next year and i have a degree in math. im smart as fuck. but i dont need to validate my intelligence with a pair of square glasses to try to fit into a fucking stereotype. you hate the media for stereotypes, and think you are so fucking unique, yet here you are trying to fit into a stereotype.
This is so ridiculous. "You're all stupid for being in a stereotype... look how well I fit into a less popular one!"
Makes me want to /headdesk
It's pretty ridiculous to spend so much time stripping to make no money, imo. If it's for "love of dancing"... go back to your "real job" and go to the damn club on Saturday night with a big friend so you can both QQ together about how thin and blonde everyone is. LOL.
That seems like it'd satisfy OP's dancing AND attractive-girl hating needs.
I know, I am going to just try and ignore drama online from now on. I think I have found myself getting into to drama lately. Seriously, it is silly to get all riled up because someone online is exhibiting qualities of a moron.
