Thanks for sharing!

http://listentoyoutube.com/index.php is also very good for that, although sometimes I find that it turns what was a 3 minute song into a 30 minute song in mp3 form. Very strange!

http://dirpy.com/ is also very handy!

And if you ever want the video from YouTube or almost any other video site, I highly recommend http://clipnabber.com/

Maybe I'm the last one to jump on the bandwagon with this website, but it's brand new to me so I felt like sharing! I've had problems with downloading certain remixes/ versions of techno songs that I've discovered, but youtube always seemed to have the song. I just used this site for three songs already and now listening to the songs in itunes. It's so much easier than hunting down songs on limewire and scouring google for a legit downloading site. http://www.video2mp3.net/

I have some software that you can put on your PC's desktop to do this. Then you just download the video off 'Youtube' using 'Real Player' and 'rip' the sound off the clip with this little 'gizmo'....

....Would you like to try it? It's free....and has no bugs. I could Email the whole installer to you.

I like the ease of these websites, but if your program allows me to edit the songs in audacity afterwards, then I'm all for using it!

Oh Yeah - you can do that OK....I use Audacity a lot - especially for cleaning up vinyl rips to MP3.

Drop me a PM with a safe Email address, and I'll send you the file and installer for the Video-2-MP3 Converter.

That's interesting, a fellow club music producer of mine told me about video2mp3 but I couldn't get it to work? I wonder what I did wrong...

Are there any virus issues that you have found?

No - no virus issues at all. It's one of the cleanest, neatest and best quality bits of freeware I've found. The Installer is a 'stand alone' Installer Wizard that works on Windows. It only takes about 2 minutes to install. Once it's on your desktop - you just click the icon to open it up, then 'drag and drop' the video clip into it and off you go. The MP3 quality is excellent.

If you'd like, I can EMail the whole install package to you, to try it out? Just PM if you're interested....I'll include a couple of songs I've converted from Youtube so you can actually hear the result.
