Well, the full version has 15 verses so you're actually looking for a short one! Leonard Cohen actually wrote two versions himself - one with a melancholy ending and one with a happy ending - please don't ask me which is which.

I actually like the Jeff Buckley version better. All of the versions are terrific though.

well, it's a pretty filthy song. so i prefer hearing leonard cohen do it. he's a filthy man. in the good way.

tbh, i don't think it's a good wedding song at all, it's dirty and depressing. but it's your wedding. it's not like it would be the first time it's been misused.
