Hey I just signed up and joined mfc after reading and learning from the entire thread lol thankyou ladies. My question is, how do i set up daily pay? I applied through a company I read about in another thread that offers daily pay three days ago but have not heard back. Does MFC offer this themselves? Can I cash out daily? Thankyou for your answers in advance xoxo

I got accepted on MyFreeCams today and have read this entire thread. Great advice girls! I can't wait to try it out for myself, I just hope being pregnant is a good thing on that site, I notice they don't have seperate catagories and popular girls seem to be more "mainstream".

I tried MFC last night for 2 hours and had fun! I made almost 1000 tokens, so a little over 20 bucks per hour and my cam score rose to 1040 so at least it isn't dropping! Can't wait to log on again today! :)

actually I tried to view my private recordings but it doesn't allow me to see them. So I hit the option to delete them all. If I can watch them neither will anyone else. You should probably do this nightly if you don't want them there. But honestly I wanted to watch a few and it gives me an error message every time I try to access them. Shitty move MFC!!

With you making almost 1000 tokens would you multiply 1000X0.5?If so you did great! Tomorrow night im going to start working on my games I want to play in free chat. I haven't started camming yet im just getting my things together. How long does it take to get approved?

Where do you access and/or delete your videos on MFC??

If you ever go onto the site as if you're going through like a viewer and you are logged in. You'll see the settings are slightly set up differently. Go into settings and in that area you can select I beleive under chat options you see your private chat text and video ( I couldn't see mine) After that you should see an item that states to clear all video archives or something along those lines.

So I selected clear and it asked again. Are you sure? yeah Surely I can't see them, so what's the point? Done.

Hello! I started MFC about a week ago, and I feel like I'm doing quite well, however I'd like to have some fun games in mind for when there's a lull in the conversation in my public chat. I tried doing a 'game' thing where people tip at least a minimum amount and I draw a card from a hat, on which is written an action like 'name in topic' or 'blow kiss' or 'sexy dance' or 'boobie flash' (as well as having a minimum tip for boobie flashes by non game players) I only had about five ideas so it got a bit repetitive (although I did get a 45 minute group with about 5 of my members after the game had gone a bit dry!) and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for actions to add to the game or other games they've found fun and effective for tired-out conversation!

I've heard of girls playing hangman but I'm not sure how it works exactly with tips and the rewards and stuff?

Also, I apologise if this has already been covered in this thread; I started at the beginning reading through every comment but then it got all drama-y and so I skipped to the end haha

My thing with MFC is that I could have a lot of fun with it if I could get guys in my room. Does anyone have examples of a 'good' profile with a good av, pics, set up, etc?
I know time is something that has to be invested but I'm trying to be open minded to MFC.
I've done the tip chat thing and did really well doing my own version of naked trivia. Guys could either answer the question and they get to pick out of the red can (coffee can with prizes in it and some really funny 'lose your turn' type of scenarios) or they could buy the question for 50 tokens if they didn't know it. This works fantastic if there are at least 50 people in the room (excluding guests) but I have a hard enough time getting 20 people in my room. Any suggestions for hustlin' my self?

*****Oh I forgot to mention what kind of hours I did. I only got online about 2-3 times a week (if not less) roughly for a couple of hours since I was still dancing. ****

THIS line gives me SOOOO much hope. I am already doing way over $100/hr on other sites, so I do NOT wanna sit there on some new place for 5 bucks an hour. My patience is LOW LOW LOW.. But if you say it can be done with a small commitment of a few hrs a week..... wow. That's actually really really uplifting. THANK YOU!!!!

what places do u make 100/hr?

How much do you think a beginner would average? Finally made an account because I'm taking a stripping hiatus....and I need some money other than my low pay at the tattoo shop.

If you're not making this a permanent move, I would advise you to consider signing up for streamate instead of mfc. It takes a good long time to gain a big enough following on mfc... You'd be moved and back at the strip club by then.

Especially if you are stripper-hot... And expecting stripper cash. Youre better off signing up to streamate, jacking your prices way up, and going from there.

In my opinion, the girls who do well on mfc are 1) really youthful-looking, and 2) able to be extremely consistent, like.. At least 4 nights/week. And of those, only a small % ever achieve any measure of success.

Just my two cents.

I don't plan on ever having a "real job" again. Some people may find my plan objectionable because it's not the "normal" path to take, but guess what.. not everyone WANTS to take the normal path.

I block PMs except from friends, so people have to talk to me in the chat, which let's everyone see what a great personality I have! That gets me more regulars. I always try to have some form of offline sale going on as well - a Thong Thursday picture, a raffle, a gallery password.

I am completely confused to how you let everyone know you are having an offline raffle? Twitter? /:O

JAC - you mean how do I promote it? Twitter, my site, etc. I post it on my MFC profile as well, and talk about it in my room. Guys buy raffle tickets offline, I draw online.

Yes! I get so confused how the whole 'raffle' thing works. I see other girls with it on their profile but I have no idea how to run one on my own. The whole raffle and games thing is so new to me.

would you recommend this site for new cam girls or is it better to start elsewhere and gain some experience/knowledge and then move over to MFCs? I'd love to make more than the $15-$20 an hour I am making now.

So I got online today, for about an hour. I was playing a "clear the board" game. I ended up with 180 tokens after an hour. :/ And my camscore dropped 40ish points. Feeling kinda discouraged, I really need this to work out.

I have been doing MFC for about 2 months now and it is still hit or miss for me. Some days are good but others are terrible. Like last night I got on for 3 hrs and only made 700 tokens. I am not giving a free show I am only playing in prvt. I have read all the threads about MFC on the forum but I cannot seem to break out and get tippers. Like I said its just hit or miss.

The most I have had in my room was 68. Any advice on how I can get more members in my room? Does your thumb pic have a lot to do with it? I am lost on why I am not getting consistant numbers. I am bubbly, laughing and talking a lot, but sometimes it seems like I am talking to myself.

I applied for SM last night when I got done to see if I have better luck with them but still waiting on approval.

I'm glad to hear that you've read the MFC threads on here. :)

Do you have a Twitter profile that you use to let guys know when you're getting on cam? I have a feeling not enough guys use MFC's news feed feature and e-mail notifications feature.

hey ladies congratulations to all the amazing models that have been doing good on mfc! i never posted on this thread (tho i have been lurking) i was able to read the first 15 pages in a day but all though all the advice is great and i appreciate it i still cant find the answer to my problem. here is the thing ive been camming for 3 years now, and have worked in many many many sites ive seen the good bad and ugly of camming good being like 250 dollars in 1 day and bad making like 5 dollars on 1 day right now my main sites are xpeeps and realtouch, realtouch is amazing and its always my backup site cause i always get at least a date or 2 so this really saves my ass on slow days but although i really like xpeeps it has been getting slow the site is still beta so its understandable ever since i started camming i thought i need to make myself a top model on mfc cause it seems to me once ur up there its very hard to have a slow day if you are consistent , so i tried many many times had to create new account on mfc at least 4 times already, i do games, i do raffles, i offer prizes for highest tipper the whole 9 yards but it doesnt seem to work for me one time i was so worked up i even cried of course as soon as the first tear came down i logged off dont want to seem week, i just tried everything and i want to do good there so badly i loooooove my job cant see myself doing anything else for now and i do well with the sites im on but i want to make crazy money 300 a night would be awesome last time i tried mfc was in january so im ready to give it another shot last night was my first try and i was on for only 1 hr cause i had a date to do on realtouch but it was awful i only had like 10 peeps on and only like 2 were premiums worst part is no one was talking to me and im a chatterbox i was talking to them making conversation but nope it was like talking to a wall so i made a fresh new account cause my score was in the crapper sorry if someone already posted a similar predicament but just cant find what to do bout it i reallly really want to do great on this site any advice? thanks in advance

Yes I tweet everytime before I get on, But for some reason I cannot seem to get many people in my room. Its probably because models are on there showing all there business for free so why would they want to come in my room. I am very outgoing and talkative but most of the time I feel I am talking to myself.

I feel the same way also and i always tweet when im going online and im very chatty and while some members do seem to get envolved its just talking and rarely any tipping made 5 miserable dollars in 2 hours then i gave up b4 my camscore gets much lower. Dont know nothing else to do but keep trying

Thanks for the encouragement, xfat. MUAH!

OK.... so I logged onto MFC for my "great debut" last night..... aaaaand.....

It was a FAIL of SUCH epic proportions, that I can't even describe! Ha ha ha! ;-) I made a whopping 80 tokens (so $4), and I was only on for about 15 mins before I had to log off for reasons beyond my control... (read: someone came home early.)

Anyway... I'll be trying again... but.....

I'm wondering if it's even worth trying to schlep through this painful MFC intro-building-up-a-fanbase period, if I already have other places where I am doing well? :-/

I'll give it another shot (stay on for more than 15 mins this time.. ha!) and reassess.

Thanks, everyone, for sharing your perspective. I really, really appreciate it.

But.... ugh... last night was PAINFUL. Like.... I don't even know what to SAY to the people in my room... you know? They're not striking up conversations either obviously (cuz they're just there to see what the new girl's "got".... and... she aint got nothin'. Sighhhhh).

Ok so this is like-- 1 yr and a half late on this topic.... but I think I have an idea on 2 parts of this quote for other girls who may be having the same issues:
1. You already have good traffic on another site, and don't want to build up your fan base on MFC... How about trying a couple days a weeks on MFC and still working on your other cam site, so that way you can build up your fan base on MFC while still making money on the other site? win/win.
2.As for catching their eye?.... Go back to the basics- You're here to entertain people. What's entertaining for guys? Funny things, interesting facts, games, hot girls, sports, trivia can be fun, contests (men are competitive), and the fact that most men like girls with personality. What personality makes you interesting? Guys like funny girls, smart girls, sarcasm can even be interesting, some guys like ditzy girls (I don't know why that is..? lol), and someone who can just be fun and play with them. They're like children and you need to play with them! lol If your thing is funny, go look up Jenna Marbles or something and get a feel of what she talks about. If you like to dance, make a few routines you can bust out every now and then. Mix it up- have a TRIVIA CONTEST. Some guys just want to hear about your life, so tell them some funny/interesting things about you or your day (make it up if you have to, and keep it positive). Just entertain them- they get online because they want attention they aren't getting in real life and will tip you for your entertainment- that is the industry we're in =)

Rolly

As best I have found it, on MFC, there's a few things that really work for me. I'm too java jacked to go on cam at the moment, so I figure dicking around the forums is an efficient waste of time. Just for the scope of things, I've been camming for just over six months now, and I'm averaging anywhere from about $700-$1300 a week, depending on the hours I put in, what time of the month it is (less about the red tide, and more about when people are paying bills/when payday usually is/how much discretionary money people have). I do this full time, and for the great majority of the time enjoy what I do.
This stuff works for me, for you, who knows. I am a firm believer that you can make MFC your ever lovin' bitch - if you have the time and patience to do it. To get to what I would call a 'satisfactory income level' has taken me half a year, and as far as I can tell from the top earners, save a few phenomena, this is the norm. As I've noticed it most of the top earning girls have been putting in some serious work for over a year.

So. Rolly's shit that might work for you. Shit that I wish had been summarized in one post.

1. Do your research. Know your shit.
I really, really feel like this is the one that seems the most obvious, but is the most over looked. Before I even started camming I spent two months reading, researching, and talking to most anyone I could who had relevant knowledge. Upon hearing how well I was doing a few friends and associates thought they would give camming a run. One did her research and is now doing pretty well at it, and everyone who did no research was done with it in a week. You need to know your shit, and be your own expert. But where do you find all this trove of info?

Forums - I found this forum, and The ACF to be the most helpful/insightful. Sign up so you get the full access and and do a search, don't be afraid to look like a newb, but do make sure that you're not posting a question that has been answered a million times over. It's best not to piss off the local fauna, as they may soon be you 'co-workers' so to speak, not to mention how much head-to-desking over what you said you will save yourself when you're a little older and wiser. As I've found it most everyone here is helpful, while some of us may be a bit prickly in manners (myself included), everyone has been, and are really helpful and willing to answer questions and dole out advice. Find out how much you need to make per day with taxes, to pay your bills. Can you do itemized deductions? Are you a 1099? What's the conversion rates for tokens? What do you know about the Terms of Service agreement you sign to become a model? How, when, and where, can the company use your image? What rights do you have as a model? How do you keep people from obtaining your address via a wishlist or other means? Are you being cheap and driving down your and other girls wages by not familiarizing yourself with what the average 'going rate' is? Paypal, privacy, keeping stalkers away, how to keep your sanity when things go pear shaped and the guy who's cam you're watching just put a pear up there with NO warning....These are all REALLY important things to know, and are best known before you need to know them.
Actually go watch other models. Okay, serious fuckin' business here.
The artist looks at other art to inspire her, a cook tastes his food as he cooks, and you don't learn to fly without flying with someone in the cockpit. All of these examples are very key points.
Look to others to inspire you - watch the other girls, click around and find a girl who you like, who you connect with as you watch her (and sometimes that takes a lot of clicking, but be patient!), someone who you find interesting, or attractive or identify with. Watch her. See what she says, what she talks about, how she moves, how she behaves, and how people react to her. See how she engages her clients - you want to treat this as much like a discovery channel special as you can - I find narrating what she does in my mind in an English gentleman's voice helps. Does she have a gimmick? Does she play games? Maybe she just sits there and smokes cigarette and is an asshole - watch and see what works, and does not work. Pick out little pieces that you like, or feel confident in doing and emulate - never imitate.
Taste as you cook: Film yourself doing these things. Get comfortable with your image, with what you look like doing those things, or if you're like me, just check to make sure you don't look like a total jackass doing it.
And learn to fly: You've been watching a few girls, you've kinda got an idea how it's done. But this the important part: Watch what works. You've seen what you like, what turns you on, what seems like fun, now's the time to pay attention to what works and [I]how[\I] it's done. Some things look rad, seem rad, people LOVE it... but it doesn't make a ton of money. Is it worth it? Did it give her added publicity that will pay out later in the form of new clients? Does she have some sort of VIP or rewards programme? What does her profile look like? Is she on every day? What makes her daily wage?
GOOGLE YOUR BRAINS OUT. ANY question you have, chances are someone has had it at one point, too. Google is your friend. Use it.

2. Be kind. It pays.
SUPER EMPHASIS. Do not engage in shit talking about other models. Again, think of these lovely ladies as your co-workers and co-conspirators. Partners in crime! A regular ol' Bonnie, Bonnie, Bonnie, Bonnie and ...more Bonnies! Fuck Clydes! When I fist started not more than two days into camming one of the top models was AMAZINGLY kind in showing me the things that I didn't really know, like how many tokens to charge for a spank, or the little sensualities, and personal touches that make your connection to your client that much stronger. Most importantly she told me that it WILL TAKE TIME a LONG time, to get to those upper-income levels that can be attained by camming. I seriously think that without here I'd been a one-week model, if someone hadn't told me what to expect I'd think I wasn't good at camming, or similar such nonsense. But this rule does not just apply to other models! Be nice to your clients, and prospective clients (unless being mean is your thing and they like it, and in that case screw those worthless little weenies!), you'd be surprised how far a 'hello, how are you?' goes. I have seriously been tipped just for my manners, and being nice because it was a refreshing change from the usual. Did they send you a note just to say hello when you were away from cam for a while? See something that reminds you of them, send it to him! I really try to find out what my clients like, and are interested in as people, so that we connect, and maybe build a working relationship that lasts. All of this helps you stick out in their mind next time they're looking for someone to tug the jolly todger too, or just want someone to talk to. Try to be understanding, and not judging with your clients. Remember, what we do is sometimes more like topless/naked therapist than stripper. Some fetishes can be embarrassing and hard to admit/ask for, think of the courage it takes them to ask for it, and if it's not your thing say thank you, but no thank you. Wish them luck in their hunt, and move on, or if you know a girl that's up their alley suggest her! You never know, either he or she may repay your kindness later.

3. Find a niche. Use your model tags to attract that niche clientele.
You know what I'm good at? Small penis humiliation. Did I go into this knowing that? Nope. Do I find it arousing to free style dick insults for an hour an half in private? No, not arousing, a hell of a lot of fun, but not arousing. Is it something I LOVE to do? NEED to do? Nope. Do I do it a lot, because I'm good at it, it pays well, AND I don't have to shove anything up my snatch?
You bet your sweet ass I do. Another camgirl friend of mine fell into panty sales, which I seem absolutely horrible at. Does she have a panty fetish? No. But it makes her money, and her clients love it! Sometimes you'll find what you're good at, what clicks with you and the atmosphere of your room is not what you expect. It may even be at odd with some of the other things you do - Kink on the whole being my over all niche - I will often sub and dom back to back! But tailor the experience to each client, and you should be juuuuuuust fine. Remember! There are real people on the other end of the computer, with real feelings.
Use model tags to your advantage, and NEVER neglect them, remember these are keywords that describe what you offer as a model and are searchable. Much of my 'fetish' clientele have found me by searching for things like 'spanking' or 'humilation'.

4. Be consistent. Be patient.
(Barring luck, or miracles...) This is not a get rich quick game. This is a time, and consistancy game. Set a schedule. Stick to it, as much as humanly possible. People WILL sign on just to see you. You will not be making 'good' money in the first few months. It will be up and down, one day you'll make a metric shit ton of moolah - the next it'll be like pulling a bull's teeth to make a scrappy twenty buckeroos. It DOES get better with time. This IS a job, however, and you get what you put into it. I average about 4-8 hours a day, depending on how dedicated I am, to pull about $150-$200. If I'm only on for two hours, I make a grand sum of dick squat. Yaaaay! Let people know when you'll be on, tweet, tumblr, news cast, do what you wanna dooooo...

5.Smiles everyone, smiles!
This is an emotionally exhausting job. Before you even go on cam, make sure you feel your best. And if that means you're not getting on cam today, because you're crappy, you feel crappy, and the world is crappy then that is what it means. Maybe try to perk yourself up by getting ready, but if by the time you're all gussied up (you hussy) you're not amped? Do yourself and your camscore the favour - maybe it's time to take a day for you. Take advantage of being all prettied up, and go relax for yourself. Camming takes a lot out of you, and afterwards sometimes the sound of silence, or a good friend with no stress is the best thing you can do for yourself. Good begets good, so being in a good mood really makes camming wonderful. Stressed, down camming doesn't lend to a good room atmosphere that gets those tokens tippin'. Beyond that - Take care of you first. As Katt Williams says, YOU are your star player, your number one. Make sure you feel good about you, yourself, and about your camming before you even log in.

6. Beeeee yourself. Or your fake self.
I've encountered two schools of thought on this, and it really comes down to who you are. Are you more comfortable just being yourself? Or are you more comfortable being a creation - an alternate you, a performer? Either way, be genuine. The best stories are based in reality, so even if you create a personality to be on cam, put some of your real self into it. People will recognise, and appreciate it. In time your camscore and income will reflect the confidence you have in camming, and in yourself.

These, by no means, are the end all be all points of which camming is done by, just what I've encountered to be helpful/useful for MFC and camming in general.

I am new to camming. Spent 2 hours on MFC's. Made $41. From reading this page and what others have said, I should have made way more than that on my first 2 days:-\. Is it just slow on there right now? Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

There is no "right" or "wrong"...it varies from girl to girl..... It might be slow, just stick it out, be consistent, and be engaging!

I doubt you're doing anything wrong. I'm pretty new to camming too and MFC is very slow for me but I don't mind it. I use MFC as more of a passive income with photosets and videos as well as a marketing/promotional tool. It takes a long time to get your profile just right. Like other ladies have said if you play the "blonde bimbo" role you will probably do very well on MFC. But if you have a different look it may take more time to find your niche and your target customers.
I still have the new model tag and I have never made $41 during 1 shift on MFC. I'm right there learning along with you.

I've been on MFC for two years. Here's how it broke down:
Early oct 2010-Feb2011: $1.5k every pay period working roughly five hours a day, seven days a week. That doesn't include the thousands I made from PP and gift cards. Note. PP is stupid. Never use it.
March '11-May'11: $400-$700 pay period working the same amount.
June-August: Maybe $200, if I was lucky.
Took a break from September until April.
Since April I haven't been able to find my footing. Now that I live in Europe I'm filtered out by most guys and I don't like camming with my VPN on. Nobody that comes to my room ever has any intention to tip, go private..anything. I talk, do countdowns, really engage my crowd..basically I haven't changed at all. My crowd has.

What is PP? Well I havn't gone back on since those 2 days. MFC sent my pay to the bank the wrong way and the said if it happens again they will refuse the transfer and charge me $10. So I will have to get that fixed before I go back on. I also decided I am going to make a few changes before I try it again. I am going to work on decorating the room. I am also going to request a token amount before they can PM me. I will make sure everything is worked out in detail in PM before we go private.

I have been asked about photos and sending panties. My big problem about people sending gifts is I live in a very small town and I'm not close to any big cities. I don't want to make a 4 hour trip just to send stuff out and people wont find my location.

Hi. I've been lurking on this forum for years now and am not sure I've ever posted. Sorry. I'm not a creeper, I swear.

I used to strip and escort years and years ago and am thinking of trying webcamming. The info you all have posted here is SO helpful and I've been watching some of the girls on MFC to get ideas. One question I have that I wonder if anyone knows - can you lie about your age on your MFC profile? I'm 40 and thankfully look so much younger. I know I could work the whole cougar angle but I'm so often mistaken for 28 that I'd rather just say I'm 30 or something...while I still can.

Thanks. :)

i'm 40 also and it didn't seam to bother anyone in my room. i constantly got the "your not 40".

I think Mfc its pretty shit- I am struggling to rise my camscore, the real problem is that also the so called Goodguys (the one that tip you) are bastards too, they take advantage of the fact that they now being cheap to you its ok cause you have a low camscore( notice that they can see that even if you hide it in your profile). So they pretend you show for less, my advice is never do that, set an average price which works for topmodels too, don't make yourself unworthy, no matter camscore-
I personally find this camscore system must be change cause its very limitating and kill potentially good models mood. Sometimes you stay online 2 hours or 3, and noone tip, when someone enter and tip fucking 2 dollars, my suggestion is: don't do anything until you don't reach a reasonably high amount of tokens earned, being too cheap is not the key to success.

THANK YOU!!!!

if you can, please tell me what are those sites that you're making way over 100/hr on...

This is a four year old post. There's a strong chance no one is going to answer you.

As in the previous thread you started, there is no site that's going to guarantee you $100/hour ever.

Ok, I have just created a profile in MFC and now I have got the contract, but after reading it I got scare of so many negative stuff. I am wondering if this really worths. Lets say I sign the contract and decide to work 3 or 4 times per week a couple of hours, no nudity, just chat......how much $ can I expect?. Have you had any problems with the contract like be accused of something......its really scaring some of the things of the contract, its like they can blame you for anything wrong that can happens.

MyFreeCams is a major cam site that you want to have some knowledge on rather than just going for it unprepared. If you don't know anything about it, your first day will result in you getting bombarded with private messages from guys, and all kinds of leeches trying to take advantage/scam you. That site can be overwhelming as fuck for a new girl, so please make sure to do a lot of reading before you start on there.

What is the "negative stuff" you're concerned about? I think I already know what you're referring to, but I can assure you that many/all of your questions have already been answered in one or both of those threads I just linked you to. Good luck.
