I don't ever eat anything in front of customers because I have issues with food and just can't feel sexy when I eat! personal thing though.
I tend to take to work, a bottle of low cal energy drink and some low fat crisps or rice snacks or something. I drink alcohol if customers buy it, at work and I tend to get that horrid sick feeling later on in the night and I find drinking that and having a quick snack as I take a break, works for me to keep my energy levels up.
I'm vegan so couldn't probably eat what customers bring in.
I've noted customers bringing in chocolates for the dancers and I always am polite and say 'Aww that's a really nice gesture but I don't want any, thanks' or something. I don't usually tell customers that I am vegan because I work in a dive most of the time and people aren't the kind to understand it. I just say I'm not hungry or something.
I would just say 'I don't like chocolate' BUT, I was once in a club and a regular (never gets dances but buys us all a drink) brought in a tin of chocolates, and offered them around, and the girl near me , BEAUTIFUL girl, gorgeous face but about a UK size 14 maybe 16, said 'No thanks I don't eat chocolate' and he looked at her and said 'Looks like it!'
Gawd I would have been mortified!

i don't think the OP had hidden agendas/intentions etc for bringing in food...i doubt he tried to get dances in exchange for food;
I never said his agenda was hidden or that he was trying to get dances for food. His goal, as he clearly stated in his original post, was to get girls to spend time with him.
he just like doing sweet decent things for girls/people and what's the big deal if dancer or whoever says simple thanks and some light chit chat!
Geez it's not like few minutes is going to kill any dancer's "money/earnings" lighten up!!!!
As I stated in my post it's dancer's decision how she spends her time in the club. Let me remind you JJ that you re-opened this thread with a request that people not start attacking you. I responded with my opinions regarding the topic and why some of the initial responses may have taken on the tone that they did. So far the only one attacking anyone here is you. Calm down a little. K?
And where did you get the idea that any dancer will/would spend an hour w a dude who brought doritos????? too much thinking etc going on here
If you go back and read the original post the he clearly states that he brings, among other things, snack foods to the club and that some dancer spend up to an hour with him in exchange for the food he brings. I got the idea from the original post. Dial it down a notch or two JJ. This is a message board. Thinking is what we do here. If we didn't the pages would all be empty.

Only time I take food in is on the two nights the kitchen isn't open at the club, Sun and Mon. Sometimes, I will take cheese, cracker, meat tray and a veggie-dip tray with some plates. The ladies can stop by...grab what they want and move on or they can sit down if they want. I don't expect anything other than a thanks. The ladies appreciate the gesture and are happy to have something to munch on.

My club didn't have any kind of food besides the tiny bags of Frito Lay chips that you put in you kid's lunchbox, so I loved it when regular customers would bring me food. There was just the cruddy rules about not being able to eat in the dressing room or to have food "delivered" after 10 pm. I would get out of my dayjob at 6:15p, cross into the eastern timezone an hour ahead of me during my hour drive to the club an get there at 8:15p (later if I needed to stop for gas), and be on the floor by 9p. I don't believe in distracted driving (texting or eating while behind wheel), so I always tried to have a plan to eat when I got on the floor. I had been up since 7a, had lunch between 12:30 and 2p, beelined to work and I wasn't leaving the club until at least 3:30a. So I didn't care about how I looked while I ate. It didn't get busy in there until 12 or 1 anyway. The management did allow the customers to bring in little things like candies or granola bars after the 10p cutoff though, so on a busy night, when you needed a quick pick me up, I loved it. The deal was even better when I got pregnant!
Would I ever accept this stuff from strangers? Hell no. Would I sit with these customers that brought it in? While eating, of course. If it's not busy (more dancers than customers), my full belly is staying put. If there was money to be made, I would thank them and be on my way. If they were still there after I made my rounds and needed to sit down for a break, guess who I would to talk to and maybe have a drink with until fresh faces came in. The customer was coming in anyway, and has been in the club long enough to know how the girls and the business works. They never got offended by my leaving when done.
Shoot, having the full spread that the OP was talking about would have put me in heaven!

I wouldn't just bring food in. Depending on the club, I might order food while there, it really depends on the club.
I've been called at home and brought starbucks coffees to a local club for a good friend of mine. She paid me back, which became her tip when she was next on stage.
Recently, I've brought a slice of cake from area coffee shops to a club for a certain girl. Overall, this is not something that happens much.

I don't bring in or buy them shit, unless shes dropping the panties for some fast food.
