I work in the most upscale club in my area, and we hire a variety of sizes, however, no girl they hired could fuck my money up more than a huge goddamn recession and, before that, the ease of access to every nakkid lady ever on the internet.
and cellulite is also an indicator of poor circulation, which is also obviously not as healthy as smooth skin and proper circulation.
Cellulite is hereditary, and not necessarily a sign of poor health at all. Your DNA decides how you're going to store fat. I, along with a few of my fellow team-mates, had it even after clean diet and strenuous 6-days-a-week training for long distance racing. I've also seen girls who I know for a fact lived an unhealthy lifestyle NOT have any... lucky bitches!

^^Cellulite is caused by connective tissue pulling at subcu fat. Depending on the severity of it, it can be present on perfectly healthy girls with a healthy bodyfat %, and yes, it is thought to be genetic.

I think this thread made me get of my lazy ass to lose my 40 pounds in the next 3 months and eat better and tone up and lose it and so I can get out of that bbw cam section again no offence it money and money talks. I made a promised to my self I want a hot sexy summer and some sexy wear.
Good for you. Most people these days would rather get pissed off and offended rather than take away something positive (like motivation!) out of a discussion like this.
Best of luck losing those 40 pounds. <3

Ya I got my cellulite from my Dad... who has the best circulation ever. He nearly died and doctors were amazed. The only reason he lived was because of his unbelievably strong cardiovascular and venous systems. No normal person would be able to withstand the pressure his body was under. Its all about the connective tissue unfortunately. Yes there needs to be fat there for it to turn up, but even when Im 111lbs at 5'7", working out everyday and eating only fresh food, I still get some cellulite.
Whereas girls I know who smoke drugs everyday, drink all day, smoke ciggies, never work out and rarely eat other than the occasional big mac after 3 days of being high... still have not a single dimple.

Also I notice cellulite increases throughout the day, especially when you're active. I try not to look in the mirror after a workout (unfortunately it's hard when you're walking around the DR in your underwear lol). There are some days when I'll look in the mirror after just waking up thinking I look pretty good, and at the end of the day wonder why anybody lets me wear shorts/skirts around them.

I agree that hiring standards have tanked. But I also think that what one person sees as overweight, another will see as not. However, I think everyone wil agree that a crack head with no teeth is pretty hideous. Different strokes for different folks, is all.

I should note that regional hiring standards change too. When I went home everyone commented on how much weight I lost, blah blah. But I drive 4 hours north to Colorado and I'm a porker....so its just something to keep in mind -_-

If the club wants to hire them fine by me. What fucks up $ is recession, extras and ugly. As someone else mentioned ugmos with banging bodies, nice skin, nice hair but just not attractive are allowed to work. Why not a fat girl? So what if someone personally thinks they don't belong? As long as the girl is attractive, well groomed, well mannered so what is she is a little heavy. She should make the most of her size and do her best to make her unattractive areas look nice. Corsets, gowns and dresses are used all the time by avg size girls to hide less than flattering areas. I bought a dance from a fat girl about three weeks ago, Sun nite, because she was the best entertainer in the place. She had personality, stage presence and a gut. Some guy called her fat while I was there and she just said,"wow, honey that was original. I'm fat, but you're broke so you're not in danger of me coming anywhere near you." Dude just shut the fuck up and sat down. I takes all kinds of girls to make up a club, admittedly, the 3rd tier clubs are more likely to hire fat girls and this was one of those places. But on the same token, most clubs stick the fat or old girls on dayshift along with the ones who have shift choice. I never heard a young fit attractive girl say she hated working with all the fat old girls on dayshift because it fucked up her money and lowered the customer base.

We have all different types of girls at the club I work at... There is one bigger girl who is very pretty and more thick than fat and she makes good money... then there is this one fat woman who has a mustache and looks like a man- and she doesn't shave her vajayjay and she tells ppl its her chastity belt- they probably weigh the same but two completely different looks... so it all depends

yea ... guys like what they like! so if theres a bigger girl hell yea.. the ONLY thing that will help her, is 1) confidence and 2) skill there were a couple guys at the club that came up to her stage a couple of times.. but she kept going the same combo over n over n over.. now.. it wouldn't have been so bad.. if it included more than what she did.. it was horrible.. -_- so if the girl can move hell yea!!! if not.. then shes just gonna keep thinking its cuz she's fat and its not...

I 'm not so sure cellulite is a result of poor circulation either as I always have the coldest hands and feet, like ice cold and I don't really have cellulite. My vote is it's hereditary and I 've even heard something like 90% of women have it and lastly I've heard guys don't notice/care anyway:)

Thick is fine. Grossly overweight is not. I don't want to work in a club where customers come in and see the merchandise, think that's all there is and leave. I've seen this happen before.
(From my textbooks in nursing)
CELLULITE: A FAT WOMAN'S PROBLEM?
-Caused by the herniation (abnormal tissue sticking out where it shouldn't) of fat beneath the skin [which we all have] through connective tissue.
-Occurs in 80-90% of post-puberty females (just because you don't have it now doesn't mean you won't have it later)
-Linked too low levels of testosterone (men with androgen dysfunction get cellulite)
-Thought to have many factors:
Hormones like estrogen, prolactin, and thyroid hormones are all linked.
Genetics: links to pre-disposition of cellulite have been linked to an enzyme and a gene.
Diet: Many different effects, none very conclusive on improving the appearance or making it worse.
Stress: Increased levels of catecholamines (fight-or-flight response hormones) aid the evolution of cellulite.
Predisposition: On top of genetics, your age, race, gender, distribution of fat (not just being overweight or slender but your overall shape, e.g. pear, apple, hourglass...) or family history of lymphatic (part of your immune system) or cardiovascular problems.
-----------------------
Once upon a time, pale, full figured women were considered the epitome of beauty. They were seen as healthy and fertile and the embodiment of sexy. A woman who was tan and thin was regarded as poor and ill, probably a peasant who worked outdoors. Women used to bloodlet and carry parasols to keep their complexions pale.
Even cellulite, which seems to be the scourge of the modern woman, was sexy. It was a sign of social status. Here was a voluptuous wealthy woman who could afford the sweets and decadent foods most couldn't, and the "unsightly lumps" furthered that image. High-class women were depicted in a lot of Victorian art. Go take a look. They are thick women and have cellulite! :P
I don't like calling "thick" women "fat". You can be beautiful, firm, sexy, and still have a higher body fat that what is currently perpetuated in society today. The fact of the matter is that men are biologically designed to seek out a woman with wider hips as a "mate" because in history a fuller body meant more chances of survival for both mother and future kin.
Be careful who you tease about spiderveins and cellulite and that extra bit of fat over their belly. All these things are the luck of the draw, and despite your best efforts you could still wake up one day and wish you had the smooth bottom you remember from your younger years.
ah! I think that is Caddy's in Scarborough!

While cellulite isn't a biggie with me....yeah, I miss my body of a few years ago. Peeps still seem to think I'm hot, but I had the body of most of the girls on the cover of Shape....but I was also super tiny. Now I have that tiny bit of "insulation" which drives me farkin nuts!
Luckily I have no guilt as I never made fun of or looked down on others, regardless of size, etc.

ughh this thread kinda made me sick to my tummy..
some women on here have shallow opinions...
i guess it just depends on the clubs u go to..but to say a chubby woman DOES NOT belong in a club to dance is a little naive..
im blk VERY pretty face and got ass, tits, and my waist isnt the smallest its a 35" but i ALWAYS get hit on by blk men on the street (and a few white guys)..im a very interesting person to look at (lots of tatts, colorful personality.style and sexy piercings)
however things may be diff in a white club compared to a blk club, bc in there they WANT the thick-thick girls and the skinny girls DO NOT make bank!!
I went to diff blk clubs as a customer with my guy friend and he turned down EVERY skinny girl with a disgusted look on his face -no lie-...i felt bad for the skinny girl bc she had to see that...but all he kept his eyes on was the girl with the big tits or the girl with the big ass (and obviously didnt care if their gut was notrocious with stretch marks<<(which it was..... to me)
but i respected their hustle..i sat and watched them making bank, talking the talk..i observed them to see how they did it..knowing they werent the best in shape...and i commend them for their effort...
but like i said..this was in a blk club!
(and i dont mean blk club as in "ghetto", bc there was a few white, hispanic, AND blk customers) and the location was very safe..

I won't say chubby girls don't belong in the clubs at all... but they certainly don't belong in anything resembling an upscale environment.
If someone in an industry based so heavily on image doesn't want to put ANY effort into their body... why should they get hired at nice clubs along side 10's?

Cause a 10 can be a 300 pound women for some men, while another 10 can be a 70 pound drug addict with no teeth..
DesuvsDeath
05-05-2011, 02:45 PM
^And that's why certain types of clubs hire certain types of women.
Men who like 300 pound girls and drug addicts with no teeth go to dive bars for their 10's... men who like girls with good bodies go to more upscale clubs to find their 10's... guys who want thick girls go to black clubs for their 10's...
Because there's no way for a club to guarantee that they'll have one of EVERY body type per shift... it makes more sense for them to pick a customer type of cater to that. Which, it seems, it what most clubs do.
So hiring some girl who doesn't give a fuck about her body in a club full of slim and athletic girls is just going to repulse MOST of their customers.

um theres women who LOVE being thick..i think that u saying girls who dont give a damn to make an effort to take care of their body is a little hostile
i dont want to be a size 0, 2, 4, 6..but however i dont want to be a size 16, 18 and up..
i love being a size 12-14
i am a healthy person and i consider myself healthy..bc my blood pressure is fine, i workout, eat fruits/veggies..but the scale doesnt move..its always btwn 190-170
i have a disease to where my body wont even let me get down to a SMALL size without looking like a muscular crack head..
being chubby is fine with me..as long as im tone, and healthy thats all i care about
AND to say a chubby woman is not equal enough to be in an upscale club..piss on that..
they could be in that type of environment if they wanted to (there are many men into chubby women)..

^the "you're not thin so you don't give a shit about your body" really bothers me. While that may be true for some larger girls, it's not the case for all of us. Some bigger girls (me included) are consistently *trying* to get slimmer: don't eat shit, and do excersise. I'm physically fitter than a lot of my slimmer friends, as in I can run longer, bicycle up hills that they can't, and lift larger amounts of weight. Though appearance wise they probably look more like the fit ideal than I do. You can eat right be active and generally have a healthy lifestyle and still not be slim, it has a lot to do with the body type your genetics give you. Lumping all larger girls into one category as "lazy" and "don't give a shit" is ignorant. You're lucky if you can be slim either naturally or if you have to work for it, but you shouldn't just assume that all girls that aren't are doing something to "deserve" not being slim and therefore don't get to work in upscale clubs. I "deserve" to be slim just as much as the next girl that eats well and excersises, but I'm not, that's kind of just the way the world is though. I just wish that more people could accept that not everyone can fit into society's standards of the slim willowy woman, and just look at the bigger picture, the skinny=pretty, fat=ugly attitude is so dumb, there are many aspects of a woman that make up physical attractiveness. It's the same as racist men/managers who are too closed minded to realise that men DO like black/asian/latino/white chicks as well as whatever race is predominant at a certain club. I would think its far more important for girls to look put together. Girl with hair in bun and no make-up screams "I don't give a shit" a lot more than a chick that's a bit bigger but has a nice flattering outfit, hair, and make-up.

Sorry, it's just my opinion. I don't mean it to be hostile...
There are girls who like being thick, and there are girls who like being 500 pounds... it doesn't mean the body they love is appropriate for stripping.
AND to say a chubby woman is not equal enough to be in an upscale club..piss on that..
they could be in that type of environment if they wanted to (there are many men into chubby women)..
In order for them to'be in that type of environment'... they'd actually have to get HIRED there.
You can't just work at a certain type of club because 'you want to'... you have to meet their standards.
^the "you're not thin so you don't give a shit about your body" really bothers me.
Assuming this is directed at my comment, so I'll go ahead and respond.
I'm not saying "you're not thin so you don't give a shit"... If you're not thin, but in shape, that's one thing. There's a difference between that and the typical "chubby" stripper you see packing into mid-level clubs these days with her stomach bulging over her panties.
Most of the time... you can tell the difference between a bigger girl who works out... and a bigger girl who doesn't give a fuck... and that second type is what I'm talking about when I say that.

How is chubby toned? That's an oxymoron to most people. And a lot of prior specifically go to upscale clubs to be around toned girls, not chubby girls.
I also hate the argument that if a fat girl's making money, then she should be allowed to stay. Well her fat presence drives other custies away, this is very evident when you go to review sites and see a thousand comments that say stuff like this club is alright, but the club down the street doesn't have as many fatties as this one.

.
I think she's saying that a girl can be a size 8, 10 or 12 and still have a firm body. Then you can have girls who are only a size 6 but look like someone slopped buckets of cottage cheese all over them.
I could be wrong but I think that's the difference between being a little chubby (or "thick" if you prefer) and toned and just being fat and sloppy. It's not all about the dress size.

There's also the belly issue...a lot of girls at my club have toned legs but big guts. So yes, you can call yourself "toned" and yes you can call yourself a sz 8-10 (which really isn't that small) but since you have a big belly the GTFO of my club!
And there's also a cultural thing...different terms mean different things to people and some cultures have way less standards for what "toned" means. I'll bring myself into this-my IRL friends and family tell me that I have a good, small body and I know irl I do but that doesn't disillusion the fact I KNOW I am not small enoughto work at the upscale alcohol clubs in my city. I know I have a good body and I am very pretty but I also know that wealthy businessmen don't want to buy drinks for me. If you're big and okay withit thats fine but don't think that you belong in some of these clubs because like it or not, your presence will drive away customers.

See, I have to admit that the second chubby picture is just straight up fat to me. That girl wouldn't get hired at many of the clubs I've worked in and if she did, the customers would be mean as hell to her.
I know it sounds "mean" but I've seen girls put on weight in upscale clubs after being hired. Men will leave. They don't come there for average or chubby. It would be bad business to bring those girls into a club known for 10s or barbie looking girls because it would chase away the clientele.

There's a difference between fat and obese. I would refer to the other pic you posted as morbidly obese. That doesn't mean that anyone smaller than her is fit.
There's also a difference between acceptable weight for a normal girl who keeps her clothes on in public and a stripper who expects to make hundreds or thousands of dollars taking them off in an upscale club. It might not be fair but that's how the industry works.
Kellydancer

Out of those photos I would say I probably fall the closest to the first one. I've been called both curvy and thick but those terms often now mean fat to me. Yes there is a difference between the bodytypes. I've had people point out celebrities like Salma Hayek and say my body is like hers. I've never had anyone tell me I looked like Rosie O'Donnell. In many cases you can't lose weight. I also tend to be more muscular and when I workout I get more muscular.
However, I have been rejected for being fat for a club. While I thought they were wrong, they knew the club wanted only size 0-2 or so and being a 6-8 was probably too big. However, I still don't think flabby girls belong in the clubs. I once worked at a club with 200+ women and this scared men away.
DesuvsDeath

Both of those 'chubby' photos are girls that wouldn't get hired any of the clubs I've worked at.
Not saying they're not pretty gals... and their bodies aren't especially sloppy looking or anything... but imo - that's way too big for stripping.

im in the process of losing 15lbs before dancing (end of this month) and right now i fall into the chubbs category, but i ll end up falling in bwtn thick and chubby when i start..which is what i see ALL the time at "urban/blk" clubs with a few sprinkled "curvy" <<(look at posted photos to see definition of) blk/latina girls..so i feel i ll fit right in..
no shes not sloppy chubby at all shes toned..and i only posted those photos to show the girls who were skeptical of that ever being possible

Wow, we have very similar body types, same height, weight and waist size, crazy lol. I think of myself as curvy too but I don't use the term because I feel like when people hear curvy, they think fat.
I kind of :O when people call me skinny too. I'm lean but I'm not skinny. I lift weights as a hobby and my thighs are big and solid. I don't know how anyone can look at me and think skinny but you're right. If you don't have fat rolls or a gut, people label you "skinny".

Skinny is not just the default term for everyone who isnt buldging everywhere!
I know, right? People our size are what I call "thick" for a dancer... "average" for the real world.
It confuses me when people are like "You're so tiny!"
Funny how different people's definitions are.
Anyway. Point is... acceptable weights for real world girls/people who keep their clothes on... aren't necessarily accepted or welcome at typical clubs (obviously excluding 'specialty' clubs like 'black clubs').

That sounds like a normal weight to me, especially if you have a larger ass. I've actually been called bone thin though I generally am not extremely skinny. I think it's just part of our society where most people are overweight. Reminds me of online dating. Almost everyone who calls themselves "curvy" "athletic" or "average" are just fat. It bugs me to be honest because when I do call myself curvy or athletic (which I am) then people think I am a fatass too because the fat people took over the words.
