How is chubby toned? That's an oxymoron to most people. And a lot of prior specifically go to upscale clubs to be around toned girls, not chubby girls.

I also hate the argument that if a fat girl's making money, then she should be allowed to stay. Well her fat presence drives other custies away, this is very evident when you go to review sites and see a thousand comments that say stuff like this club is alright, but the club down the street doesn't have as many fatties as this one.

I say let em stay but keep em quarantined and contained :D We need them in our fragile ecosystems to make us look that much hotter! And BOTM, your "fat presence" had me :rotfl" OMFG :D

I see reviews like that all the time. However we do need them. I've had customers get CR's with me telling me how much hotter I am after seeing so and so up on stage, blah, blah.

And please remember regional hiring standards....in Colorado I am a fattie.

....** and honestly i WOULD NOT pay a girl of this stature to give me a lap dance or to dance on stage..blechh**

See, that whole "blechh" thing is kind of rude. I don't like it when people hate on thick women, but I don't think it's any better to say rude things about thin women.

I work in a club with girls that are as thin as the girls in the photos, girls that are average, and girls that are thick. We're a middle range club, neither dive nor upscale. The girls that are thin like those photos and the girls that are average but fit (firm hourglass figures) make the most money, hands down. I am 5'5" and a size 4 to 6 currently. By strip club standards and due to my measurements I consider myself average. For most of my life I've been about a size 2 to 4 but gained enough weight to become a size 8 to 10 for a short spell. I never looked sloppy but after I resumed working out and eating properly I started loosing weight and my earnings have increased DRAMATICALLY. It could be my increased confidence. It could be that the area I dance in is baised toward thinner women. But it has been my experience that thinner to average and fit are a winning combination in most strip clubs, excluding black clubs of course.

Of course other body types can make good money. Personality and the love some men have for variety go a long way. But it is hella easier if you're close to the ideal built by famous women's physiques because that is what most men are attracted to.

I think sometimes that my views on weight are off, though. I'm in my 30s and what was considered fat when I was growing up is now considered average. I tend to think that people much younger than me won't ever really understand because they grew up in the middle of the obesity epidemic. The one "fat kid" in the class from my youth is now half of the damn class.

yeah you're disgusting! gain some weight!

I'm assuming that was sarcasm right? You are PERFECT! Personally I'd rather be thin than on the other side of the line. sorry to say but this is an aesthetically driven industry and if the customer does not like the product on display, they're going to run.

Also it's important to be realistic about your limitations. I wouldn't try to waltz into the Rhino in Vegas just because I want to work there and expect to get hired.

The chubbier girls remind me of a club I worked at that hired chubbier girls. The guys started complaining about fat girls and started getitng cheapos. Yes it is unpc to say fat girls don't belong dancing but they don't.

Buuuuuut nevertheless they are in mid tier to divey clubs, and they're not going away any time soon. -_-

I don't mind them as long as they don't step on my perfect little size 5 toes or squish me :D

I agree though, Kelly they don't belong in uberupscale clubs. I don't think I belong in an upscale club either. I can at least admit that. Do I belong in a 7th layer of hell type club with toothless hags (wait that was Softails in Missouri) NVM

sorry i meant no prudeness behind my opinion, girls..
i just truly dont see a difference in opinions from mine and the other girls on the thread.. esp if one of the girls here told me i was too chubby to dance and that i could not possibly be toned at my weight..it was their opinion so i was just giving mine..i just wouldnt want to get a lap dance from a really skinny girl..the same way a customer might not want a dance from a chubby girl..

and did i mention i was giving my opinion on my preferences as a customer in a club

Awesome. So at 34-26-35 I must be gross, huh? Sweet.

If I remember correctly, we're about the same height-- 5'9. My weight has fluctuated drastically over the years. Right now I'm 140 because of winter weight/BA weight and I'm not happy this big. I'm generally content around 130. It wasn't until I got into the 115 range that people started to tell me that I was too thin-- and even then it wasn't like "omg anorexic!"

Its all about how your body carries weight. We have a girl at my club thats probably around 170, but shes easily 6'0 and shes a top earner. And we also have a 4'11 85 pound girl thats a top earner as well.

But yes, there are definitely times when someone is clearly an embarrassment. My managers seriously won't let those girls go on stage. Might sound harsh, but it brings the crowd down. Sure, maybe a couple guys like that, but overall, most people are like :O.

Fat girls shouldn't dance. Period. End of story.

Frankly, one of my biggest pet peeves is fat girls at my club. It DOES turn away customers. I can't even tell you how many times I've been sitting with a patron and a chubby girl walks by, and they make a comment about it. Guys don't come to strip clubs to see average (which in the US = FAT) girls...they are paying to see the exceptional ones.

It's one thing to be muscular or to have some curves in the right places - as long as you also look fit. That's the key. I'm sick of seeing chubby, soft, rolly pollys. It DOES mess up my money because guys see that and are turned off by it.

I mean, for crying out loud, stripping is about your body. You are displaying your body for money. I don't understand how someone could be in a business that is so image-based and NOT work out and eat right. I'm tired of the chubby, average looking girl off the street getting hired as a stripper. It just looks bad. If you're going to be a stripper, you SHOULD work out and try to stay fit and lean. There should be STANDARDS.

It especially pisses me off because I do put so much effort into maintaining my appearance. I work out daily. I don't eat shit, I'm disciplined. I always make sure my hair, nails, and make-up are perfect. So while I may look exceptional in the club, if a group of spenders walk in the door and see big bertha on stage, they turn around and leave before they even get a chance to see the hot dancers that they wanted to spend their cash on.

sigh. I will end my rant here. I just see this repeatedly throughout this forum, where chubby/fat girls start the "I love my curves" or "i am thick (read:fat) and I love my body and guys are gonna love it too and I will make tons of money as a stripper," and if you disagree or respond with a dose of reality, you're being hateful or mean. This is just the reality of the industry. Average-sized girls in "real life" are fat girls in the club. So either get to the gym or get off the stage.

Just to point out.. I been taking care of myself since the day I ran away from my blood family. I don't eat junk, I don't drink, I don't do drugs, I workout everyday.. top one and bottom on other. I been doing this for now 15 years and I'm still what you call fat.. Stripping started as a fetish that people would pay to see. Stripping didn't start with all skinny females, it started with all shapes, colors, weight, and sex. It only went into a business when a man thought he can make lots of money from it in one place than women being out on the streets and taking a man home to dance for them, taking all the money home for themselves. Now that the world has become more shallow don't make that true history. It seems we do that too much to better ourselves.

:( Aww, I guess you wouldn't like me then. But I do have some muscular legs. I'm thin because I found out my cholesteral was slightly high and my blood sugar is on the high end of normal, so I've been eating to counteract these conditions. So, no eggs, cut down on cheese and all the chocolate energy bars I was eating and lost 10lbs. So, it's either gain weight but by unhealthy (for me) or just let my body do what it wants and be healthy.

This is so true. Stand by Me came on TV the other day and while Jerry O'Connell used to stand out as the fat kid in that movie, he now looks normal. If some of the younguns on this board haven't seen that movie, they should check it out. It's a great movie and you can see what body type used to get teased in school for being fat.

Now I see kids in elementary school who literally weigh twice as much as they should. You NEVER used to see that kind of stuff back in the 80s. It would have been circus freak bizarre.

I actually prefer curvy chicks, but yeah, that chick has a massive beer gut! I've never worked with anyone even 40ish lbs less than her. Worked with a girl that was an 11-13 back before vanity sizing hit (probably a 7ish in todays sizes), but she was 6ft and a totally curvy hardbody I had a massive crush on....but she was only allowed to bartend due to her size, though I will never understand that cause she was smokin. Most of the clubs I've worked at have had a 110ish limit if you are like under 5'3" maybe going up to 140-150 if you were 6ft ish. Two clubs even put girls on the scale if they looked too heavy.

I think it is sad when a club will not hire someone at between 5'2"-5'4" who is around 130. A very very good tipping(rich) regular bitched out management proving his point that not everyone wants to see women who r ultra skinny. IMHO 5'3" and 110 lbs is great but that isnt everyones cup of tea. It def wasnt his.:)

This all reminds me of a conversation I had with a DJ.

Me: "Why are some of these girls so... large? I don't want to see them naked!"
Him: "Guys like girls of all shapes and sizes"
Me: "Yeah, but we're not just girls. We're STRIPPERS".

That sums it up. We're strippers, and there needs to be a high standard for that. That's when the money comes. Fat girls, even "chubby" girls, do NOT BELONG NAKED ON A STAGE. Especially one that I have to get on right after they're done.

So that explains my prejudice the the club. My prejudice in real life is pretty much the same. I believe there are ways to dress a natural, "chubby" figure and still look GREAT!! (And sexy!) But fat people are not going to look good in anything. Especially because most of them insist on wearing cheapo, skin-tight leggings.

Fat women offend me. I don't even really mind fat men as much... it's just the women that make me cringe. Ew.

And that's all I have to say about that.

The girl in the OP's thread is def larger. But 130 at 5'3" is not fat. I make excellent money in this area considering the economy's fall and the bikini bar low income factor. And I am one of the "older" dancers. Yeyyyyy for me. In one of the clubs I work at some of 110 pound girls hate dancing w me bc truthfully some of the customers prefer my look and I bank. U have to find ur venue--the club that prefers ur look and continue to work and bank there :)

you MUST look like barbie. or you can't be in the cool club. meh. (sarcasm)
These same men complaining that fat girls make the club look bad and want to go home seem to be using the bigger girls as a scapegoat as a way to just cover up being cheap. Using the less atracttive girls to cover up for their cheapness= lame. Then tragically,
their opinion is taken seriously.

This thread is kind of bringing out a rigid intolerant way in thinking of some of the members. i.e. you must be between THESE measurements to work with me.

Bring one of those fat girls out to Vegas and take them around to audition at the nicer clubs.

After you've spent an hour or so consoling them while they bawl their eyes out because they were laughed at by everyone in the club, then you can get on here and tell us how rigid and intolerant we are.

It's called reality. Setting someone up for humiliation is not "nice". It's a mean and nasty thing to do. Some of you work in bum fuck nowhere clubs with no standards so you can't really understand that.

While I agree that no one wants to see a girl with a beer gut dancing, with all do respect to you, I think the DJ at your club is way more enlightened than you are. Why would a man who finds women like Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Beyonce, Sofia Vergara, etc etc etc SEXY, walk into a strip club and suddenly only like thin strippers??? That's ridiculous. Your DJ was correct: men like girls of all different shapes and sizes. If you don't like any extra curves on women that's fine, it's your taste but not everyone shares in your opinion.

Frankly, I've seen some girls who were definitely curvier than the above mentioned celebrities BANK both on stage in general, even at upscale "white" clubs b/c they were sexy as hell, great dancers, and had charisma/confidence that other girls only wish they could have.

I never felt I belonged in a top tier club either. Oh sure by regular standards I am hot and thin, by top tier clubs I am not. I accepted this years ago and was fine. Because of it I pursued the mid level clubs and made good money there. These clubs had some hiring standards but not as strict as top tier. However, a few of these managers started getting greedy and hired any girl who came in. I will say though that to me there are different levels of being overweight. I worked with a girl who was around 5'4 and 200 pounds. That sounds big until I explain she carried the weight in her butt and boobs and being a black girl she could get away with it. She made a killing with her body. However this same club then hired a girl with a huge belly roll. That was disgusted.

The diviest club I ever worked in hired women that would be considered below average for normal society. There was a 50 year old 300 pound woman and a woman who had thunder thighs that looked like cottage cheese. I didn't work there long (they paid me) but I can look back and laugh at it.

To me though and most guys I know, they consider those celebrities in a different range than fatties like Rosie O'Donnell or Roseanne. That's where many get confused. Being a fattie and being curvy isn't the same thing.

Btw, some clubs are very cruel when they reject on weight. There's one club here that when they rejected on weight would often make fun. To me that is very cruel and unacceptable.

I understand completely....believe me hon. But they're not going away any time soon no matter how much we stomp our perfectly pedicured feet. The key to survival is learning how to adapt and use them as another tool. I have learned to use them as a prop to accentuate how much hotter I am.

The key to survival is learning how to adapt and use them as another tool. I have learned to use them as a prop to accentuate how much hotter I am.

LOL! This cracked me up ;D

I agree that strippers should be held to a much higher standard than "normal" women....the entire point of our job is to entertain by being the fantasy a man has of his "ideal" woman.

That said, if a dancer has the same exact body type as Kim K and also presents herself with the same flawless standard that Kim K does (perfect makeup, eyelashes always, great hair, manis/pedis, outfits that flatter), that dancer may well be a lot of customers fantasy.

I work at an upscale club that is notorious for only hiring super thin girls and the GM is equally notorious for telling girls that already work there they need to lose to weight (and he still does IF a girl is starting look to fat for HER body). As well, it's not only expected but required that we bring our A game to every shift.....I've seen girls sent home for not having manicures, hair color that was tacky looking, and cheap looking costumes. However, the club has recently hired a couple verrrrrrrrrrry curvy girls who are, totally, Kim K types...both girls are gorgeous and exemplify the "ideal" of that body type. The reason he hired them was because he recognized that they fit a specific type that some men really like especially recently with curvier celebs becoming so popular, which in turn brings and keeps those customers in to the club.

My point with regard to this thread is: I would rather work with a curvy/thick/chubby/fat girl who has a stunningly beautiful face, brings her A game, and is classy than a semi-hot size 2 girl who whines and complains to customers about fat chicks b/c she thinks it makes her look more attractive in the eyes of the customer. Body type is not indicative of someone's class or sophistication level. I don't say this to offend anyone, however, at the end of the day the only person responsible if you're not making the money you want is you, not the girl who you think is too big for the club. 8)

I was being sarcastic but I see your point.

I've begrudgingly developed a more moderate point of view since I first posted.

As a dancer in arguably the only mid-range club in my city (there are no upscale clubs, only dives), I have never seen the effect that heavier girls can have on upscale clubs. It makes sense that a club that has always been known for mass-media style "tens" would alienate customers as soon as it varied from this formula. This is probably the case in "black" clubs as well. I will continue to argue that a diverse range of sizes is completely appropriate (and even desirable) in mid-range clubs such as my own, and that good (albeit retroactive) "proof" of whether or not a girl is "worthy" to work is what she earns compared to the rest. Of course, attractive girls often make little, but if a heavier girl can consistently bank at a club whose image doesn't depend on barbies, then obviously men desire her enough for her to keep her job. I was able to make better money than some of the more traditionally attractive girls when I was an 8-10 at 5'5" at a mid-range club, and thus I "deserved" to be there. Would customers of Scores have complained? Yes. In retrospect, though, I should probably qualify the claim that I was a fat dancer. I was fat for a dancer, although not the fattest, but I was on the heavy side of normal in "real life." Dancers who are very overweight or obese most likely belong in a club that caters to those tastes.

What rubbed me the wrong way and caused me to disagree so vehemently was the undercurrent (which has now been explicitly addressed) that heavier girls are all unattractive/lazy/repulsive/etc. What upset me the most, though, was the sentiment that heavier girls don't make much money but are so grateful to make anything that they don't know the difference.

This is a great post. If you are a bigger dancer, you must must must bring your a game if you expect to make money. I think it is because I am always exceptionally well groomed at work that I do so well because even though my body may have a flaw, next to a club of girls that are only semi-attractive or don't hold their appearance to as high a standard, I end up being one of the more attractive girls and being a couple dress sizes above the other girls doesn't matter as much as it would if all the thinner girls put the same amount of effort into their look.

I also have not witnessed the effect of larger girls being at more upscale clubs...as a dancer, but as a customer all of the upscale clubs I have visited have had at least 1 or 2 girls that were larger than the rest. I will hold to the view that I think it is important to have a few well-proportioned larger girls at a club that take care with their appearance (like nyc entertainer said: nails, make-up, extensions, flattering outfits). NOT large as in scary large, large as in like rachel hunter in confessions of a go go girl. I think men care more about the big picture of a woman, however there are certain little things that each men want: some men might be particular about boobs, others face, others skin, or face, and yes, some size/shape. Some men only like tiny slim girls, some men only like thicker girls, and for some, it's not a deciding factor unless it falls to one extreme.

I don't expect to be able to work at every upscale club because when it comes down to it, it is really up to the owner/manager and what he likes. If he's one of the men that only likes tiny slim girls, I'm out, and that's fine, I'll find somewhere to work. I would expect to be able to work at some upscale places however, because my appearance overall is very polished, and my outfits and look are pretty "classy", so yes, I think I'd fit in.

Thing is, though... Kim K isn't FAT.
We're talking about fat girls... not girls with curves. (Actual curves, not - I'm fat so I'm calling myself curvy)
There's nothing wrong with a curvy girl with a huge ass and tits like Kim K who, but we're talking about girls with panties that cut an inch into their fat or who are mistaken by customers as PREGNANT because they've got such a big gut.

Not everyone has to be stick thin... it's not possible for some girls to REACH stick thin. Kim K has a body that clearly gets worked on in the gym and is in good shape. Which is just fine.

^^This!! I'm curvy.....about a 34DDD, 22, 33, but Im tight. I was smaller when I danced, of course. I wore an 18 inch necklace as a belly chain. (Jeez, I miss being that size) Some girls are straight up FAT tho. Its akin to a model with a huge snoz, they just need to find another line of work because they are killing the industry.

Why go to a sc when you can see better looking girls at a night club for free?? It actually boggles my mind. No wonder money has tanked. Oh, and its not just fat girls, Ive seen some of the girls from Daddy's home club and ''plain'' is the only word Id use to describe at least 2/3rds of them.

It's so freakin sad that it's came to this! You used to have to be stunning to strip, and back then, even in BFE, 1k nights werent super uncommon, but anything under 3-4 hundred was.

^I just don't get it. We say "NO FAT CHICKS" and girls always try to come back with "But curvy girls look good, too!"
I have a 40" ass... and a 25" (lost another inch <3) waist. I KNOW curvy chicks look good.

I'm saying no the the girls at my club who have the same size ass I do... with a 36" waist... not to girls like Kim K or like myself who have a small waist and a big ass... I'm saying no the girls with a big gut to match their big ass.
There's a HUGE difference.

Of COURSE looking well put together makes a difference. Everyone should take the time to do little things IN ADDITION TO HITTING THE FUCKING GYM. If you're fat, you're fat and no amount of fake hair or tanning or nails is going to hide the fact that you look like you could eat half the other dancers in the club in one gulp.

^Yeah, it's a bit obscene really. My SO was explaining to me that because of my shape anything I wear that's mid-thigh or shorter in length looks completely sexual... even when I'm standing next to a super thin girl in a skirt six inches shorter than mine who looks completely publicly appropriate. LOL

Although on a hilarious note... a girl at my club a few months back was getting lipo/fat transfers to sculpt her waist and increase the size of her ass and she asked me if she could take my picture to take to her plastic surgeon. xD

:rotfl: I know what you're talking about but think of them as "cleaners" like bottom feeders in aquariums....they play a vital role in our fragile ecosystem.

As mentioned above, they keep the stage occupied while us hotties are in the back making money, they keep SBM's grabby Mexicans and PDOM's occupied, and putting yourself onstage after one makes you look like a breath of fresh air!

The way I see it if there is a girl with a big belly & rolls who really makes money then great she can afford to go get lipo the same way I would hope a girl with missing front teeth who makes money as a stripper would go get that corrected to fit industry standards becuz the reality is that doesn't help her, her club, or the industry at all to keep up a lower standard of visual & physical sex appeal.

I'm not talking about girls with a bigger body frame or who or naturally healthy & fit thick. I'm talking fat obsese girls who want to wear a thong & jiggle around the pole like a Christmas carol competition is going on.

Sorry they just are not meant to be strippers even if my club will hire pretty much any1 female & willing, but when my mangers won't let a girl on stage, girls are complaining about not making enough to pay for their meals, & customers name those girls after the names of famous whales well get the hint it's not sexy or the career 4 them.

I've seen all of that happen wondering why they wanted to embarrass themselves like that to go around saying they are strippers when who on earth are they trying to fool. In my eyes they got a job as something they just were not cut out for & they bring down the standards of the whole industry.
