When i was looking for the best camgirls, i've found the (edited out spam). There's so much nice girls there, u can find every girl u want.
Um. That's a white label for BongaCams. Are you suggesting that as a site for camgirls who are starting out? Or are you promoting this white label? If anything, girls should sign up for the actual site.

Just a quick question regarding payment methods. I don't have a bank account & am thinking of possiblty getting one for this purpose only. Are there sites that do daily payouts & also ones that pay by check weekly ? Can you guys list some sites that do those & are for beginners? I'm researching this now & all I need is to buy a webcam & hopefully make something within my 2 week time frame before I have to move :( which means I won't have a mailing address where i'm located so a direct deposit deal might benefit me moreso than a check. Help!

Katy has a site you can register that is daily pay. She's on here and responds quickly to questions. I think her site is boleynmodels.com

Is she a studio or no? I'm trying to stay away from studios if all possible. I looked on the SM & MFC site & it said they even do FED EX? That's cool & all but if I end up homeless again, I'd be better off with a direct deposit thru payoneer to a prepaid card or something right?

Yes it's like a studio but she's really helpful, knowledgable, and legitimate and isn't a fly by night scammer like the shady studios they warn about. One of the few trustworthy daily pay. You may want to private message her or join her thread to see how it works.
I believe payoneer offers a debit card to receive funds but I'm not totally sure since I use the competitors.

Ok, after much extensive research on this topic I still have 3 questions left.
1. What if my profile pic has me with blue hair but I wear different colored wigs each time I cam, is this ok?
2. If I get the Netspend card sent to me in Florida but have a Georgia DL , will I still be able to get a direct deposit since i'm getting it in another state?
3. Did any of you ever start out on your built in web cam by chance? If so how lucrative/bad was it if at all? Trying to just see if I'm cut out for this job before shelling out lots of money on supplies.

1 - dont think the wig thing / different colored hair will matter too much i see so many icons on MFC and SM blondes now brunette / vice versa . IMO its important to keep ur hair accurate unless in ur case if ur alt and change ur hair all the time just having a nice icon up is enough
2- i used a green dot card for ages where i live in VA and im using a CA ID so i dont think they care as long as everything is legit
3- are you talking about building up a good camming computer ? most of us do we start out with decently good computers then build up our computers piece by piece like i did because im a big geek or they just save up enuogh and buy something better then what they had before . but dont buy a factory built computer if you dont know about computers a lot of places now can build you good computers for a fee when you buy the pieces .

I pretty sure she's talking about the built in webcam that laptops come with to start out. I don't have any experience camming with one though.

^ yes that's what I was asking about bc I tried looking up what kind of web cam I have built in & all I could come up with is that it's 720 pc so I'm prob gonna have to just buy a separate web cam that's HD.

^ ya I def change my hair all the time, with wigs & with my real hair bc I get bored otherwise. I just didn't know if it would affect my earnings of potential new clients or not.

in regards to the webcam thing most ppl would say that starting out using a built in from the laptop would be enuogh till you get ur first paycheck but i know u dance and can probably afford to buy one for the start 90% of us have logitech c920 and they run about 60-70

So can I get an opinion from a vet on skype shows?
Magical_Hoohah
07-09-2016, 02:42 AM
^^Yes, but that's a big topic, so could you be more specific?
My best initial advice for Skype shows is: don't do them until YOU are ready. Guys on your regular sites may frequently ask about Skype, try to convince you that they really want to do Skype for the higher quality c2c, or try to tempt you with a win-win deal where they pay less and you keep more. They are not considering your best interests, and their desire to play on Skype is not a good reason for you to offer Skype shows. Pretty much every time someone comes here crying because they got screwed over on a Skype show, the story starts with "One of my customers on the site I work really wanted to do Skype, and I figured it would be good to get a higher percentage than my site pays me, but then..."
Things you need to research before getting into Skype:
How to give a decent cam show. This may sound like a dumbass thing to suggest, but I'm serious. Skype guys tend to be more interested in fetish/kink than your standard cam site custies, so it's good to have a pretty strong arsenal there. Also, unlike site custies, who can leave and stop paying if you suck at your job, Skype guys are paying for your time in blocks. It's an awful feeling to get two minutes into a 15 minute session and realize that you only have 4 minutes worth of material, or spend the entire time wondering if you're doing a shitty job. With Skype, it's rather important to know your shit and to know that you know it.
VERY IMPORTANT! How to safely accept payment on an adult-friendly processor. Check out LiveCamModelShows, CamModelDirectory, Skyprivate, and MySecretPayment.
How much to charge. I'll save you the research and strongly suggest that your minimum rate be around $3/minute, if not higher.
Standard/best practices, such as: Does the guy always pay first? (YES!) Is it true that "all the other girls" are giving free previews? (NO!) Who's in charge of keeping track of time? (You should do it. Find a reliable timer.) What should you do if time runs out and he's not done? (Depends on who you ask, but letting the show continue and asking him to pay for the additional minutes afterward is NOT the right answer.) If a dude paid for X minutes, are you obligated to stay for X minutes even if he knowingly pushes you to go beyond your limits? (NOPE!)
Can you get guys to leave your main site and see you on Skype? If your site is SM or a similar site that doesn't allow any off site contact info, you're taking a big risk by trying that. Even if the site isn't so picky, it's unethical to poach customers from the site that put in the work to get them. If guys happen to come to you on Skype without you directing them there, I think it's fine, but it's debatable.
This is by no means a comprehensive list, but it's a start. If you don't know one or more of these things, but let guys pressure you into doing Skype shows, there are so many ways for you to get screwed over. Do your homework, and don't offer Skype until you are ready to do it on your terms.
Ok, that was a bit of a rant, but I think that's the most important thing we should be telling people when they are considering Skype. Anyhow, what sort of opinions were you actually wanting?

Set your prices based on what you want to earn. I would advise sitting down and working out how much you need to cover essentials & taxes per month and how much you need to earn to make that before the site takes their cut. Then work out how much time you have to be on cam and divide the amount by the hours you have available. That will give you a base point for your 'low goal'. For medium goal add on spending money and savings, and for high goal add in big purchases/whatever the fuck you want. I'd advise charging somewhere between your medium and high goal prices. If you find you're run off your feet, up them. But on the other hand if you find it very slow give it some time, a week or so, and work on marketing and making your profile more attractive, adding lots of pics, tweeting etc x

Hold out as long as you can and keep the $$ flowing, and get them where the price is higher for you before giving them all the goodies. Then again if you find yourself in a group show with lots of guys it may be worth your while to show more/ do more. See what works for you x

Thanks :) I haven't done too shabby for my first week however i'm really enjoying it much more than i ever thought i would. My question is this: So i get alot of traffic in my room usually but of course most are freeloaders & timewasters(empty promises about getting pvts or exclsives another time). I have raised my rates & have trouble getting more exclusive shows than reg private paid chats. I try to prolong my shows as much as possible but some just vanish after 2- 5 mins in private. Is that normal? Also, I keep getting these idiots that are asking me what am I wearing & can they see bb in the free chat to which I always retort with " well you can but only if you tip me or go private" then most of them log off so I'm assuming that they are trying to just blow their load for free yuck. Help! :)
Magical_Hoohah
07-16-2016, 09:27 PM
^^Yes, it's normal. A study looked into it and found that the average guy can cum after 3 minutes of direct stimulation (so foreplay doesn't count). I know that most women can cum better from a hitachi than anything that a man can do to them, but I still feel like that's got to leave a lot of women terribly disappointed!
As to "stand bb" and "what are you wearing bb," there are a ton of ways you could handle it, and you'll hear it all the time, so you have plenty of opportunities to test your options. The only wrong way to deal with it is to let the guys push you around.
For "what are you wearing," I usually stay exactly as I am, and go with "as you can see, I'm wearing..." When they follow up with "can we see," I usually respond "As long as my stream is playing on your end, yes, you can see. I'm sitting right here."
For "stand bb," it really depends how I'm feeling that day. Sometimes I'll criticize the lack of please, question mark, or framing the "sentence" as a request. Sometimes I'll simply pretend I didn't see it (I have strong powers of ignoring). Sometimes I'll make like a cat, pretend I didn't hear them, and periodically stand or shift to a more revealing pose as though it was my own idea all along. Sometimes I'll actually stand, but because my room is small-ish, cams are widescreen, and I'm pretty tall, when I stand you really can't see very much of me - I can't even get my tits and ass on the cam at the same time. I laugh to myself and revel in the guys' confusion and disappointment. That's especially fun, because once they realize they can't see shit when you stand, they whine about not seeing anything, but have no idea what to ask for instead. }:D

^ Awesome :) then I'm def handling it well & it a playfulness that entices them to go paid or exclusive :) I'm tall as well & would have to stretch out on a bed or in the floor for them to get a full shot of me but i try to somewhat keep most of my goodys hidden (boobs/ cleavage) until they gp paid or exclusive. I also read somewhere on here that some girls only show half their face in chat bc some guys can get off from that... is this true?
sexysusie

I think hiding all or part of their face would be more to do with privacy than guys getting off. Having said that if you're very facially attractive then I'm sure guys could lol, they're very easily aroused.

XXXGothBarbie,
I would say that you could adapt your stripper hustle for camming. However, you will find some of the same rules do apply. Also, you find that your hustle depends on if you are non-nude or nude model. Also it does depend if you are on certain types of sites as well.

Hello girls!
I am a newbie from Europe. I have started on 01st of july. I have read a lot of threads here, that were very helpful. Thank you very much for everything you've shared from your personal experience. It is very generous of you.
I currently split between LJ, SM, Cams and IMlive. I am sure i am doing something wrong, but I don't know what. For the privates i've had i received 5 stars reviews so i don't think it is the show.
I made until today 700$. I know it's not too bad, but reading all of your posts i had other expectations. Imlive was great for a few days until i raised the prices. On LJ I have 2 regulars and a few that weren't so bad. I got 2 chargebacks. Cams is very good this days. The idea is that I have a normal job where i make aprox. 800 $/month. I have 2 months to make up my mind if i quit my normal job or not. I was hoping to make at least 1000 $ in the first month. I spent online between 4 and 7 hours daily.
Can you please tell me what is your opinion? I am trying not to get depressed but i really don't want to go back to my normal job.
Thank you all in advance!
nattyfetish

You split between such big sites? Most of them require your attention somehow. You gotta give attention to one of them. I personally think those 4 need your attention a lot (you gotta sit in free for members to see you). I will let the other girls give you more advice tough. Don't get depressed. We all had our starts. And most of them weren't booom big money. That is an ilussion marketing gives lol.

Please alleviate my fears! Just cammed for the first time ever. Made about $80 doing nothing but chatting, showing underboob and "hand bra-ing" which I didn't even know was a thing. At some point, I looked down to answer a text and people said they could see my full face. But I had thick framed glasses on (which I barely wear) and my hair was covering a 1/3rd of my face. Please don't tell me I may be caught! I'm pretty paranoid and need some reassurance. it's not like I did much that was super scandalous, but the people in the chat pointed out that could see part of my face :(

Hey -- question for anyone that could offer some advice! I cam on Chaturbate so I don't really do many private shows because honestly performing for one person makes me a lot more nervous than for 100+ people so I request that guys email to set up a private show instead of requesting it during a broadcast. Of course this lead to some obvious time wasters who use my email as a means to contact me with no intention of setting up a show but then some where it is harder to tell if they are full of it.
This guy emailed me and said he would like to do a 15min show every day of the week for $1,000USD weekly and that he could pay any way I preferred and that he wouldn't request a show until I had been paid so at first I was thinking (probably naively) "wow, jackpot!" but he did request I add him to Skype so we could further discuss things there. Now, every time I am online he sends me messages and will message me when I am broadcasting to tell me how pretty I look etc but doesn't have any tokens on the site so has never tipped me there and has also already sent me an unsolicited dick pic on Skype.
My boyfriend, who I do couples shows with on CB, had a similar situation where the guy wanted to talk to him a bit before they did a private show but that guy ended up being legit and has already sent him multiple Amazon GCs and paid him for private Skype shows weekly so I don't want to just dismiss every guy who wants to chat a bit at first because I have seen that sometimes it does pay off like in this case but don't want to be an idiot who ends up spending way too much time on people who don't actually plan on paying me ever. So how do you guys tell if someone is legit or if they're just trying to get to talk to you for free?
Thanks everyone so much for all your amazing advice so far and sorry for such a long post!

Don't talk to him for free and next time, don't give out special info like your Skype name, don't do anything for them UNTIL you get $$. He smells like a brokeass, but if you have to be sure, just keep asking him about the payment arrangement. "Hi, thanks for the compliment! So how do you want to do the daily 15min show thing? Here are my payment details, let me know when you've sent payment through for this week and I'll be happy to discuss show times :)" You know, hint hint. Just keep bringing it up each time he contacts you. If a couple days go by with no sign of payment, then you know he's full of it, just block him everywhere.

Hi! I'm a camming newbie and am having some issues, this site has been so beyond helpful- even more so than when I was a dancer. I suck with technology and the learning curve has been verrry steep.
My main issue is that I have trouble getting bored in free chat. I'm only on SM and while I've researched other sites, honestly, its all I can do to keep up my SM hours, take nice pictures for promo, twitter, and work on building a personal site. I have two kids and a husband with MS so my days are very very full.
Does anyone have any advice on how to avoid getting/looking bored? When I surf the web my feed gets choppy and sometimes kicks me off so that's not an option. I've tried reading but I look pissy even when I'm not because I'm concentrating haha. Any advice would be great- thanks guys!!

I work on a token site so there is pretty constant interaction but on days when my room is quieter I will play music and ask for song suggestions to add to my playlist, pull up the news on my phone and talk about the interesting stories of the day (I steer clear of politics/international affairs and focus on sports or entertainment or cute stories about animals), or work on new cards for my chance draw game. Basically anything that provides a way for the people in your room to interact with you, even if that means talking out loud to yourself for a bit until someone joins in the conversation. It might feel weird at first but trust me, your room will definitely seem more appealing than if you were just being quiet and staring into the camera

Hi, y'all. I'm new to camming. I started in CB a few weeks ago, and still have really low numbers in my room-- like 30 on a good day. I'm attracive, but very tattooed. I constantly listen to music, talk, dance, move. I've been told by a few people who have large followings that I'm doing well and not to worry, but I'm kinda feeling chappy about my numbers. Any advice?

Copying my own post from the Chaturbate thread but someone else asked a similar question and my advice would be:
Use hashtags related to what kind of show you are doing, when I am doing a Lovesense show I will tag my room topic with #lovesense #naked #bigboobs etc because then people looking for that stuff can find you very easily and those are all popular tags too so brings some traffic. Also, this may be controversial but since this is a token site I will sometimes start out in just bra and panties for a shower show which brings in anywhere from 100-300+ people in like 10 minutes and then set a goal such as 'naked @ (insert token amount here), lovesense in @ (token amount)'. Every time I do this it brings in loads of traffic, freeloaders included OFC, but also a lot of tippers and I have always banked when I have set my show up like that. It's not always a terrible idea to start out semi-undressed if it gets people in the room as long as they do have to tip to get you naked.

So I wasn't sure where to ask this but I have ManyCam which use to work just fine to watermark my cam feed when I was on mfc. Now, it won't. When I'm on mfc & I try to use ManyCam, it will say that the camera is currently in use. I'm completely confused on why it isnt working anymore. Is there another software that I could replace ManyCam with or a solution to this issue?
Thank you

So for some odd reason my computer won't allow me to split cam from it anymore using both my logitech & the built in web cam it came with. I'm using different browsers for each site, does anyone know what might have caused this to happen out of nowhere?

Check to see if there was a windows update that you may have been unaware of? What operating system are you using? Was it the same as before when both cams worked? You my need to do a restore date for any new software/drivers or the operating system if you've recently upgraded. If you have it set to automatically update then its possible it happened without you knowing it.

I don't use ManyCam first off. I find it difficult to integrate with more recent programs. I prefer Verysoft WebcamSplitter. But since you asked about ManyCam this may help, sometimes in your system tray usually in the bottom right hand corner you can see if your webcam is in use. If you see the icon there click on it to close it. Then re-open ManyCam. Or it could be that's its already in use on MFC. So if you want to change your exposure etc you may want to do this first before assigning the cam for MFC use only through settings.

^ Ya I have no idea, it just ends up killing SM if I have Cams going at the same time. I don't use a cam splitter either, just used IE for one site & GoogleChrome for another with using 2 diff web cams. Maybe I'll try VerySoft as a splitter :)

I would like to add this for all of you newbie cam models and experience cam models alike:
Motherless has an studio with LiveJasmin and have became one of LiveJasmin's many affiliates. I just wanted to let ladies who cam on LiveJasmin know that some of their traffic comes from Motherless. :( Please watch out for LiveJasmin, okay.

Hey ladies, I'm looking for a little advice and helpful feedback. Now, for starters, I just started camming recently, I only broadcast for three days this week, and I would like to try again next week, but I need to reorganize and come up with a new plan of action, because this initial experience wasn't profitable. I've been researching camming for over a year now, and I've checked out many sites, but I ended up making my account with .com, doing the "Shady Studio Plug" site. Before anyone says anything, I realize there were issues with that site, and after my experience, I don't think it's necessarily a scam, but there certainly isn't enough traffic, and making money just didn't happen at all. However I was getting the viewers and the attention. I know I have a good room, good camera, and a nice initial presentation for a newbie. I'm a former exotic dancer so I know my target audience, I'm patient so I don't mind waiting for it to pick up, but I'm wondering if it's worth it on this site?
I haven't seen any updated information about "Shady Studio Name Goes Here" , of course, I could only find good reviews at the time that I discovered them, but I never had any negative issue in interacting with the agents or anything either. Thus far they've been efficient, they answer my questions promptly, and the regulars that I've noticed seem like nice people. I signed up mostly because the interface seemed easiest, and I have no problem sacrificing a bit of time just to get a better understanding of what I'm doing. Now that I know I have the potential, do I need to start fresh on another site? I'm considering MFC, it's the one that seems most user friendly in comparison to everyone else, and also more diverse. Does anyone else work with webcam models at this time? If so, let me know your experiences currently. I really was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed camming, but I HAVE to make money next time I try, so I don't want to waste time and energy trying to milk a site that's not worth it. My main concern is that webcam models might actually be a fine place, it just doesn't seem very diverse and I feel like they may be trying to cater to a white market. I'd like to be on a site that is more reliable for POC, and MFC seems like a great place for that. I'm also looking to cater to the kitten play kink and pastel/dolly/babygirl kinks, so I'm looking for a larger market than what's offered on WCM.
I fully expect that the answer will be a resounding "YES! MOVE BIH!" lol I'm just trying to make sure I get all the right information and am correctly prepared for next week, so I can start with a clean slate and a clear mind. In essence, this is more of a "put me at ease" question. Am I on the right track?
Thanks a bunch ladies <3
