Yep. unfortunately most clients do not read, and will be expecting sex. Even if she tells them no sex, they STILL might not HEAR her. They have selective hearing.

What about being a SC dancer and meeting regulars OTC for non-sexual company?

I've read on this site that some dancers meet regulars OTC and go shopping with them (gifts for her), but do not have sex with them.

I didn't have the time to read through the whole tread, but yes... you can make money socially escorting. It is a good idea to cultivate long-term clients. If you can combine this with working with 1 or several modeling agencies you will do better. It is always a good idea to have several streams of income in my opinion, and through modeling you will meet many people, so yes, having an effective marketing is a good idea. I do not only count $ per hour, etc. You can put up a wishlist or set up a mailbox and will additionally receive some very nice things this way. I find that there are men that are willing to pay for a traditional escort, yes, and others that perhaps eventually want to get to that level through time, or will see you in a different way as you are providing a very intimate (yet non sexual) form of companionship, and think of you as more of a "friend".

i work in vegas quite often and have never been asked to go out gambling for pay. i also hear its apparantly illegal to accept such an offer and it could land you in jail? anyway how do you girls find guys who will want you to gamble for pay? do you just hang around dressed skanky at the casinos or do you meet them at the strip club?

It's not illegal to go gambling with a guy; it's illegal to leave the club with a guy. it's illegal to take money in the club with the promise of sex later on. I'm surprised no one has ever asked you; it's not something you ask of a guy, he either offers or doesn't. The gambling isn't for pay, he gives you money to gamble with and (usually) whatever you win is yours.
You would meet this guy in a club as a dancer or possibly out in the casino as you're going out for the night. Dressed skanky? Um no...

What you are describing is a lot closer to being a Sugar Baby than an escort.

What kind of "effective marketing " for a "No - Sex Escort" do you envision ?

Idk if I already posted this somewhere, but I had a friend who briefly did this and made $1500. She found the guy off of craigslist-he was just a lonely cop who wanted someone to talk to. She wasn't involved with the sex industry at all-full time student who happened to see his ad. Keep in mind she was an almost 4.0 student in a competitive major at a top 10 university, very charismatic, very funny, and very beautiful, although pretty chubby.

He paid her $300/date and took her to see one of the saw movies. She couldn't handle it so she left! My friends and I were like, Omg you couldn't sit through a gory movie for $300??!! Haha!

I'd pay James Madison or Albert Einstein for the pleasure of their company and the opportunity to pick their brains. But really, think how charming/funny/brilliant/psychologically skilled/understanding/compassionate/etc a person has to be that their mere brief company is worth a pile of money! Geishas started training as children and spent their lives learning how to do this, not becoming a geisha until 20+! As rare as the clients interested in this are, I would think it is just as rare to find someone truly exceptional at the job. Although I guess we have our answer; the supply & demand curve here kind of speaks for itself.

Aside from working for four Vegas agencies I also post my own ads. For every 10 to 20 calls I get from escort ads posted one will be for a non sex bachelor party, a non sex dinner date or a non sex club date etc etc etc. Fat chance anyone could make a living from that unless you spend a small fortune in advertising.

Now with that said, my gf does not escort but she is into bdsm and in her ads it always reads "NO SEX! if you are looking for sex look someplace else" and she makes a damn good living. About a week ago some guy at the MGM hotel paid me $1,500 to watch tv with him for an hour. He was spun like a top and just didn't want to be alone.

Well, I do work as an escort on some seasons through the year because I do not have sex with any customer. I tell them that flat out, and I even bring a written disclaimer saying it (and saying the things I do and the ones I will not do; e.g. no sexual contact, etc).

I do make good money, but is only because I choose to do it on certain seasons (holidays, elections, professional conventions, etc), I make enough to pay for extraordinary expenses (say, liquidating a credit card, saving in my IRA account, or paying for college tuition) when I need it the most.

So exactly how do you advertise and do you have a website?

How do I find guys like this? People pass the word about me, or I will post something suggestive on a nerdy forum, and get potential customers through private messages.

Makes sense?

I wouldn't think she'd have time to advertising in between camming, stripping, private parties, her job as an engineer and her military career.
Sounds like a busy, busy lifestyle. :-X

Don't forget college.

Jay12- how do you get your clients by posting suggestive comments if you don't offer any sex acts?

Oh wait, I think I know the answer to this...

It doesn't make sense that you're finding escort dates by randomly posting something on a 'nerdy' site.
The odds that you're finding men from your city, with disposable income, looking for social escorts that just-so-happen to be interested in you, and just so happen to have an upcoming event they need to buy a date for or just so happen to be looking for company when you post that add who actually have the balls to message you and ask "Oh btw, are you an escort?" are so small it's really just a completely ridiculous claim.

To top that off... any 'nerd' paying for a girl to take and show off wouldn't 'spread the word' and out himself by telling all his friends that he bought you. Nerds are all about showing off and one-upping their friends. "Oh yeah, that girl you saw me out with is some girl I had to pay to come with me" would completely destroy his persona.

Don't mean to be a bitch... but we don't need naive/inexperienced girls waisting their time and/or following bad advice from someone who doesn't know what they're talking about and seems to be making up experiences.

As an escort, I have a lot of nerd clients and ummm they want some sex! They're the freakiest ones in bed. I'm not saying that guys don't pay for JUST companionship but they sure as hell won't pay $800 to just talk to a girl when they know that money can get them a date with a super model for an hour and 2.... and there will be lots of "fucking" involved. Dunno...I'm gonna have to call bull on this one.

excuse my language :)

Gosh...when you put it like that!!! :D Yeah definitely see wha tyou mean though. And for sure Id guess that if a guy was traveling or going to an event/convention/etc...he would just find an escort the same way everyone else does online.

Also..come to think of it...nerdy type guys are usually so shy, the idea of approaching a girl in person or online for anything is pretty much not going to happen. Takes a guy with balls to offer a girl money for companionship when shes not outright saying shes an escort. Balls that a nerdy type, who are usually introverted around a "pretty girl" even if shes just as nerdy as he is...doesnt have.

Ahhhh jeeez.

I just love how you say thing much nicer than I do. You're the nice one and I'm like your evil twin sister. heheheheehe

Sooo spot on! Hell my biggest spender here in Charlotte is very nerdy and he's extremely shy! He has my number but will still email me asking for a date. I'm like darn you could have at least called!
