Go to a linens store, buy a good, quality shower curtain that matches your bedding. Spread the shower curtain over your made bed (sheets under the comforter everyone) and tuck it around the sides. Get a messy as you want and then hose the thing off in the shower. Your comforter and sheets are still perfect, ta-da.

That's a good idea whether you cam on the bed or anywhere else. I'm sure I can tuck one around my sofa cushions. Does the curtain crinkle/ squeak much when you're moving around on it, to the point where customers can hear it? That's the only downside that I can think of.

I used to have a cheap plastic one and it would crinkle a little bit when I moved. The guys didn't seem to notice it but it bothered me. I ended up finding one that was thicker than normal so it wasn't really crinkly. It's almost more like a rubbery material, I got it at Anna's Linens I think. When you're shopping, kind of bunch it up and see if it makes noise. Those are great for oil shows.

When I'm not doing anything messy, I use a really thick fabric curtain. I bought it with my bedspread (matching set) so it blends perfectly. It sucks up all the lube and whatnot just like a blanket would but it's washable so I can toss it in the washing machine and dryer.

Made my life much easier because the bed stays neat and made underneath.
