i also doubt i am the only stripper on here who is getting kind of turned off due to the boom in camgirl members.... not that it is a bad thing in theory, but since this is a site mostly for strippers, i think that the overflow in the other work section is turning off some dancers from posting and resulting in the stripper section being much less active than it used to be.
Are you serious? That is why it's called "Other work". The section is for "Other work". Strippers have the majority of the site. I don't understand why a stripper would run from the forum because of camgirl members. That does not make sense to me ( and I danced before). What is it? At the end of the day we are all in the adult industry/and we're all sex workers. Why can't we be on one site? That is very disturbing to me. I do not feel intimidated by any other job title on this site and no one else should. That's just downright silly to me.
other work section should still remain... but i remember when it was evenly split between escorting and camming and being a sugar baby etc. now it seems like most of the posts on here are about camming... and i think the site should adapt accordingly.
But the strippers would still run away so there would be no point of evening trying right?

Question! TouringGirlfriend do you have an issue with me? I saw on the first page that you have an issue with Bamb and the people she picked as mods. And IM a mod. So I was kinda like "say WHAAAT?" Just wondering.

I don't think it's silly-- the site is no longer mostly stripper geared. If you hit "new posts" most of the posts are labeled other work. We have to sort thru to find the stuff related to strippers. You would probably be off put on a cam site if most posts were for escorts or strippers.
Of course I think we are all sisters in the sex industry... And since I am considering getting into camming I am glad for the resources available in the other work section. But I do think the influx in Camgirls is part if the reason why the stripping sections are quiet these days. I know for a fact that I am not the only one who feels this way.
Which is why I think linking a sister site would be good. Or at least having an option to disable sections when browsing through new posts.

Actually, That makes a lot of sense. With the way this site is set up, it is very easy for me to navigate. I usually just log on and hit setting to see if anyone replied to my posts.

or is it that the money has dried up in clubs and the camming industry is booming right now with MFC and all.. but of course that's another thread. :)

yea you start a lot more new threads than i do. im much more of a reply to threads that are already there type of person. I guess im less creative than you :P.

i dont think the money has dried up in most clubs... in my location it will dry up for the summer for a bit, but it wont be permanent. i feel like in most parts of the country it has stabilized a lot more and the money is better than 2 yrs ago.
however, i think one reason that there are so many cam girls is because cam girls are already on the internet and are already internet savvy. i suspect that most cam girls are more computer savvy than me... and i consider myself more tech savvy than the average stripper. the average stripper might not be drawn to online networking... the average cam girl is by default.

Call the police 4 what?
What you are doing is ILLEGAL? ????? how is that?\
Never mind, you can keep posting your BS
Everyone here know's my thoughts.
Just as I don’t believe who you are, you don’t have to believe who I am.
That said. I won’t be responding to any more of your posts.
I'm not sure why you felt the need to come into this particular thread and post your crap at all. IMHO all you did was confirm for many of these ladies the belief that they need privacy.

Hmmm... would a new webcam model forum have a section for other adult work (or dedicated sections for escort, stripper, pornstar, etc)? I think for that kind of thing to really work, each area would need to have it's own mods, kind of like sub-forums sharing one main site.

oh, i didn't mean to make camladies feel unwelcome. in fact, if it wasn't for other work, i wouldn't know what camming is, but alas, i am too stupid to figure out how a webcame works despite the attempts of help from many ladies in this section!
i do agree with ms. fabulous that otherwork used to be a bit diverse and a little less "WHY WON'T MFC PAY ME?" every third post. but forums evolve. it happens. i just think it's a bit sad when they evolve so fast that longtime members start to feel...irrelevant, for lack of a better word.
like, i literally am not seeing any names i recognize besides lilmisssunshine and athena. and that's okay! that's what happens when sites become more popular.
anyway, all of you be careful and safe with what you reveal on here. utilize the pm system, and even then, be wary of overtrusting of anyone too quickly. keep a balance between internet and real life. watch out for each other. protect each other from weirdos on the interweb. if there really isn't a camming forum, then use sw as a resource but use it wisely and safely =)

For one to be a camgirl they have to have some computer knowledge. Noone starts off as camgirls they are every day average girls. My cousin just started camming and she's pretty much dumb when it comes to computers (strips in Hawaii) but I'm teaching her and she's a fast learner so there goes the notion that all camgirls are computer savvy. :P
Me on the other hand have always been computer savvy. I know too much for my own good. I think you will learn quick especially with sw's other work section. So many ladies are always willing to help.
So we don't become camgirl extraordinaries/ or social networking promoting camwhores overnight... it's all a learning process. There are still very cluless camgirls. They just don't get it.
I'm all for another camgirl forum or even an escort and camgirl forum that's newbie friendly and have some type of verification process. Again, I highly doubt sw will create this sister site.

I agree there is too much crap posted here and people don’t respect others Privacy.
IF you go and re- read the thread, I have only responded to questions that were ask of me, apart from questioning Cool breeze.
If you read from Post # 89- 96 , it’s not only I whom have suspicions of people pretending to be someone they are not.
