I happened to be on the site yesterday when I received an PM notifying me of a troll invasion. I was able to come up with a new protocol for dealing with them that allowed me to stop the entire invasion in 15 minutes or so.

It seems to have worked really well, so I'm going to share this method with the moderators. It does also require a change that only Administrators can make, so Tashia or I will have to be involved. The key is getting our attention quickly. I've made a new tool to do just that but it requires your help. More about that in a bit.

I've studied the past 3 invasions, both from our site and theirs. It has been eye opening. It seems we can shut down most of these attempts fairly easily if we catch them early and make the invasion itself boring. That is where you come in. We need you to do 2 simple things.

1: Report the invasion from our "Contact Us" form (linked to at the bottom of every page):

2: Don't talk to or otherwise acknowledge the trolls

That's it! Thank you for helping out! ;D

PS: This should also allow us to shut them down before they blow our monthly bandwidth or overload the server.

I too have seen how they start and its not hard to know how they work. I'm very familiar with Anonymous. I actually adore them...on certain occasions, but sometimes I think they overdo it. Truthfully, I don't understand why they troll cam sites unless they are a serious community of "anti-porn", which is kind of sad, since we all know the internet is for porn }:D.

I would like to know how you managed to stop the trolls, and maybe we can figure out an even quicker way of stopping them. The sooner the better, but the fact that you've managed to find a way to stop them is epic. I've found some sites that teach noobs how to hack and I've been thinking about learning. A hacker can only protect itself from a hacker. Maybe I can learn something that can help us, but there's no telling.

Also, there is a way to protect yourself from hackers gathering information. If enough people are interested I can post exactly what you need. I use it to keep my internet encrypted and also to change IP addresses. I know these things definitely help keep them at bay, especially since it is so easy to break into computers anymore. :-[
