They have them already. They're called brothels. :D

Seriously though, I hate that consenting men and women have to sneak around like this. As long as there are no minors involved and both parties are cool with it (as in no slavery, etc), it's sort of a non-issue for me.

Totally different thread starter, but do you think escorting would be very different if it were legal?

A hotel and a brothel is not the same.. geesh! Just almost hehehe. The pope will stay at a hotel but not a brothel. ModelChick was saying can someone just start a hotel that catered to johns and escorts.. of course not. A brothel? that's why it's the in the first place.. ya know?

Nikki I agree.

That hotel would get busted! :D

A hotel and a brotel are two different things. I'm sure modelchick is aware of brothels. She meant could someone start a hotel catering to just johns and escorts... right modelchick? or am I confused?

I don't know if your post was directed at me, but I'm aware of the difference of brothels and hotels. I was just teasing her. The idea is okay in theory, but you know with the world we live in, it'd never work.

Well escorting in the social sense is legal in some places. You can even obtain a permit for it. Of course, full service escorting (sex) is illegal. As much as I think it would be great it if it were legal and set up a designated part of town (a red light district if you will), it would definitely change the dynamics. It would make it less taboo which means that everybody and their mama would get into the business. :D That in turn would drive down going rates. It would also mean that the county, state or government would regulate it and probably tax the hell out of everybody.

I just went by the movie. What the movie showed is not what an escort does and you know we do a lot more. Do you have a link to the actual story?

I originally found a very well written article on the true story over a year ago, but I can't seem to locate it. This one isn't nearly as good but it gives you a gist of how it went down:

I am fully aware of the difference between a brothel and hotel :) Was thinking about going to work at the Bunny Ranch back when I was 20,but decided against it. My point is that brothels here(USA) are available/legal in I think Nevada? Maybe one or two other states, but thats it. Whereas a hotel could be in any part of my country, that is all. I wasn't trying to debate weather or not escorting could/should be legal. Although I think that is a very intresting topic. TG's response was the answer in my mind, but for some reason I feel like it could still work. I'm not saying that it would have to be top secret or anything :D but it seems like something like this could go down and be successful. Like in the movie if the staff hadn't told on the parlor, wouldn't they still be in business?

They could have still been in business for a lot longer than they were had the girl not have told. Due to poor management, those parlors tend to get busted anyway. I liked the way the lady in the business ran her operation. I just didn't like that it was almost right next to a church... waaaaaaat.. it was asking for trouble!

Yeah I don't know about the church thing either :D Perhaps the church was built later? They mentioned that they were in business about 10yrs right?

This is why in Amsterdam, where they have a red light district, the girls can only charge 50 Euro for full service.

Yes. I am not for legalization but for decriminalization!

Exactly - decriminalization is best.
Girls in Amsterdam can and do charge more than 50€.

Just some random thoughts in trying to catch up to the thread lol

I would not go to a hotel run by/for escorts. I wouldnt trust any of them, definitely not all of them...and knowing that just by being there, just by having my car in the parking lot my business is known, I would not like that or want my clients in that position either. I dont want *anyone* to know me, what my business is, or what Im doing..even if they are all industry. Actually..especially if they are all industry. :/

And yeah, I dont want sexual escorting legalized. Competition is hard enough! lol and the whole reason rates can be what they are is because your putting yourself at risk on so many levels. Neverminding, a lot of what makes this exciting for a guy is the thrill and the taboo...they are little daredevils..and just knowing they are doing something wrong on so many levels is what makes is to exciting and fun.

As for an update on my night...remember when I said everything for a reason? I think its a DAMNED GOOD THING everyone cancelled. As it turned out, one guy who wanted to see me contacted me just as I was heading to my incall, apologizing for not getting back to me sooner and if I still had time to see him hed love to...so I was able to make the money back for the room and then some *whew!*

But omg...I caught the attention of every guy in there when I walked in. I was just wearing jeans, sandals and a plain blouse, but jeez...they all took customer service to big time levels and super attentive. As if that wasnt enough, more attention was brought on me cause my card was declined...they put a hold on my account for suspicious activity (yeah, I was actually using my card for a change lol) and my phone was dying so I had to use the hotel phone.

They set me up with a phone, they kept asking me if I need anything to drink, need a snack...etc. When I checked in, the guy was like, wow you live right around the corner! Asked me if I was taking an early am flight, where I was traveling to...being flirty and nosey. I came downstairs for a smoke later in the night (no balcony *sigh*) and they were trying to make small talk, asking me if I had dinner yet, how Im doing, to have a good night etc etc etc. I mean...if I was a regular guest, Id be like..wow great service! But instead I was like...omg leave me alone! But had to be nice cause I didnt want to seem wierd.

I *really* get the strong feeling though, that if I had a lot of guests, they would have noticed somehow...I was noticed as soon as I walked in for my looks, remembered for my stupid card incident, and Im just sure of it...it would not have ended well if I had more than my one client come by. Everything for a reason... I loved the hotel and room, but Im never booking there again.

Just a note, in my whole time that I worked in the hotel industry not ONCE did I call the cops on a single sexy worker! But then again, I may have been biased, hahaha *wink*

Oh and just one more thing:

This is one of the reasons why you shouldn't use the hotel internet.
The hotels can see EACH and EVERY website you visit. Pretty girl walking through
the lobby... and they're suspecting. "Well let's see what site she's been visiting. Hooker boards, backpage? eccie? eros-guide? She's gotta be a hooker!".

Thanks!

omg i didnt think about this.
Now im kinda worried.

I've used hotel internet before when I was a newbie. Just get your own internet when the cash starts rolling in.

I would say change hotels as often as possible (like one night or two max)
take note of when hotel staff changes
dont meet guys in the lobby- have them come to your room.
the bigger the hotel the better
say at 31/2 stars and up.
and now that i know- have your own internet hook up

BlkSharpie-- Great! Sucks about all the attention, but still-- I'm glad you had an appointment. Were you have to do some pictures and some content to make it more worth your while?

Yeah...I kinda suck LoL! I was undecided if I wanted to do some pics for my cam or escort persona...then thought it would be great to do some videos for Rude and come back with a bang on there with vids and pics and stuff, and spent about an hour setting up my cam and lighting, figuring out all what I was going to do... then I went out for coffee, came back to the room, took about 5 pictures and passed out cold. :D

Used to love sheratons & westons. Joined the spg reward card. Was spending about $60,000 a year in hotels. Got tons of free stays from it. Plus when you are spending that kind of money. Less questions are asked.

Hotels are suffering in this economy too. Plus that hotel chain accepts dogs.

Then there is the safety factor. Men who want to hurt or rob a gal are less likely to do so when it is a nice hotel.

I would never leave a dog in the car. He can be your best defense in a sticky situation. If a man doesn't like dogs, then you should NOT trust him at all.

I used to charge $400 per hour. These kind of men loved that I stayed at such nice places, made them feel more comfortable about seeing me.

I always tipped the maids well. They rarely get tips. They work hard. A maid who is getting a $10 tip is less likely to say anything to anyone.

Plus never see anyone after 10pm. It is more obvious at night.

Stay safe,
Sam

I'm guessing this is personal opinion? I know a lot of men that are trustworthy that don't like dogs. Hell I'm not a guy but I like dogs.. doesn't make me untrustworthy does it? A lot of men do NOT like animals dogs, cat, rabbits. When I used to share an incall with a friend, she has a cat and that was the first time ever that I saw grown men run like that. So yeah I'm shooting this statements. Everything else you posted is spot on.

lol Yes, I am a dog lover. It is true, I don't trust people who don't like dogs.

Had a lhasa apso for 15 years. He loved to ignore men. He was MY Dog. So if someone acted all scared of a dog snoring away 10 feet from them. Then what a scaried cat. LOL Once while doing porn, one of the male talent was all scared. My dog took one look walked away and took a nap. Next thing I know this guy is over on the ground petting my dog. Georgie helped him get over his fear of dogs.

True, some people are scared of all animals. But I tend to only want to be around those who love animals and are secure, successful.

My old custies adored my pooch. NONE of them ever had a problem with him at all. Funny, when they find me on cam, first thing they ask is about him. Sadly he past last year.

But glad I quit doing that years ago.

Do wish everyone good luck and to stay safe.
10 to 20minutes of screening and checking references kept me from ever getting in trouble for 6 years. Whether or not if it did result in seeing someone, it was worth the time.

For me an hour or more. I can't screen with confidence in 20 minutes. It's virtually impossible. Everyone have their own way of screening though. Hell some people don't screen at all.

^ Hottie alert :P

It takes me a while to screen.
I wait for references to get back to me (most of the girls I contact only provide email)
I check and double check everything is all good while I wait for them (before i text them my room number)

I am with ya girls on needing 45mins + to screen for each client.
I do love the professionals that, without realizing it, make your job so much easier by emailing you on their business account and in the signature line it says all of their info like "john smith of networks management of IT enterprises, cell -xxxxxxx, office-xxxxxx, website. Then you find their Linkedin site, facebook etc. and you need a little more from then and bam! done

I also love men with really unique last names because they are easy as hell to find online.
(And this one is super cute)
