Like It's Quiddich (Like a G6 Harry Potter Parody)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXIgNnB_oq4

It started as a joke (I posted it on the DJ's facebook wall) and now he plays it when I'm on stage every time I work.

Nirvana's Smells like Teen Spirit, terrible song to dance to , and anything R and B or hip hop when the DJ doesn't know what I like. Just not my genre

At one club I danced at Smells Like Teen Spirit was my song the dj always played. I think it's a great song but not for everyone.

I've danced with a lot of questionable songs. One time a customer gave me $100 if I would dance to I'm A Believer by the Monkees but I never thought that was a bad song. Other weird song songs I danced to:

Short Dick man
Sugar Sugar-The Archies
Various songs by the Partridge Family and the Brady Bunch
Cotton Eyed Joe
Some stupid song about the jungle
Wannabe by the Spice Girls

I take credit for Short Dick Man, the Archies, the Partridge Family and the Brady Bunch but the others were songs I was forced to dance to and hated them. The short dick man song was actually played as a joke because there was a customer who was rumored to be small. In general for me anything R&B, hip hop or dance pop is not my thing and I cringed when I had to dance to crap like that.

One night when it was really slow the manager sent the dj on an errand and messed with his playlist. I ended up dancing to "Crazy" by Patsy Cline.

I am not the serious sexy stipper, I am the make you laugh your ass off stripper. But I think its still sexy :)

You are my stripper twin. This is making me wish I still danced.

I've danced to:

Meat Loaf (paradise by the dashboard light... it was a custie request)

Business Time/ Dick in a Box

Lapdance is better when the stripper is crying

I Rickrolled the Rhino... that was one of my proudest moments }:D

Singin' in the rain (and I tap danced naked with an umbrella!)

I got really pissed off one night and danced to the worst thing I could think of.... A double set to Ice Ice Baby and The Humpty Dance.

I miss that part of my life!!

Sweet Dreams by Marilyn Manson... good god what a AWFUL cover.

"The Light" by Disturbed. I hate that song. Even worse, the TVs in the background would play the music video which is centered around a burn victim in a hospital. So unsexy.

The Monster Mash
The Lap Dance Is So Much Better When the Stripper's Crying

THAT SECOND SONG. OMG. Some girl actually danced to that and everyone felt sooo awkward.... This is the same girl who cried when someone made it "hail" on her....

The one DJ has a cover of "I Love This Bar" (Toby Keith)... that's about strip clubs. It's 4 minutes long. He doesn't cut it because that would cut off the 'funny' lyrics. They're not funny. They were obviously written by the kind of customer who calls it a 'titty bar'.

I fucking HATE HATE HATE it.

"Baby got back".... ugh.

A stupid customer requested it and it just so happens that I had to be on stage. I was so mad. Didn't face the crowd. Dj apologized. Lol.

I've had to give lapdances to Motherlover by the lonely island, plus a bunch of shit by Watsky, Never Wanted To Dance by MSI, Pumped Up Kicks, and a remix of The Hanging Tree. Aside from Motherlover all of those were on girls playlists! Willingly!

Worst stage was our 90's night. The only song I knew of the 3 played for me was Ice Ice Baby.

Oh man, every DJ I've had will just loose his mind at some point and put on some really weird music. Last year, coked out DJ #1 played two Mariachi songs while I was on stage for god knows what reason. He's lucky I somehow banked anyway, otherwise I would have been pissed.

DJ #2 played "Get Ugly" by Jason Derulo... which, uh, is a fun song but if you listen to the lyrics it could be easily construed as singing about an "ugly chick"... so I worked hard to kick that song's ass as hard as I could... and again got lucky and banked on stage.

DJ #3 who is friendly, but not the best at choosing music, used to play "thrift shop" by Macklemore for me... which was annoying... the lyrics are not flattering.

I swear it's not cause I'm not cute or being a jerk to the DJs... But seriously sometimes I get up there and I hear the music and have to ask myself wtf >_>?

The Numa Numa song
Peanut butter jelly time
Business Time by Flight of the Concords.

I asked for all of them. XD I'm a dork.

"Business Time" is DA Business!:D I saw a pole competition and this girl rocked that song! She won too. Skills and expression.

"Cats in the Cradle". It was such a bizarre choice by the DJ and it had a sad vibe and seemed like it went on foreverrr....The next song he played was "Up in here" by DMX, which isnt really my style either, but I did end up getting a 2 hour vip right after.

another one that sucked was highway to the danger zone. i think it was from the top gun soundtrack.

Lmao I work with a girl often who uses this song almost every set. Like, her military outfit it made sense, but then she continued to use the song regardless of which costume she was wearing.... ok

When I had a club where I literally lost money going on stage I would choose horrible songs so I hopefully wouldn't get put up much. Typically I'd use Cha Cha by AB Soto, and the remix of Everyone Nose by NERD, which isn't actually a bad song but the manager was a serious cokehead and thought he hid it well so it was amusing to all the staff.

Also same club had "dick in a box" on their lapdance playlist which is so hard to give an even decent dance to.

I used to dance to classic rock a lot which wasn't my DJ's specialty at one club and one time he played this god-awful live Keith Richards song, I don't even know what it was. Keith Richards' voice sounds bad enough in the studio let alone live, it was terrible. I stopped and said to the guys at the stage: "I have no idea what to do." LOL. Also at another club, when the DJ found out I loved classic rock and Paul McCartney he loved it because I guess that was rare for him to come across, but he overdid it and played Maybe I'm Amazed, and as if that wasn't bad enough he used the live version. I love that song but definitely not to strip to. I still hate him.

Piece of Shit Car by Adam Sandler. I had no fricking clue what to do that song. Don't know why the DJ played it for me - he got a two finger salute afterwards though.

One broad in the club was dancing to Fresh Prince theme song "in West Philadelphia born and raised ....."

And I had a DJ who I think must have been high or something but this fool plays that Minnie Riperton song "loooving you is easy when you're beautiful...." cool song but way to slow and lovey dovey for the strip club. I was so pissed but luckily as soon as the music cued up and I hit the stage a customer was like "yes! I love Minnie Riperton!" He bought a VIP with me AND shoed off a cutthroat. So I lucked out on that one.

Probably not the worst I've danced to but most recent stand out. I have given several lap dances to "Hit the Quan" lately. One of the girls I regularly work with recently added it to her music file wwwwwwhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyy? I would rather (and have) give dances to the Beetle Juice and Adams Family theme songs. We have a DJ who often plays Backstreet Boys or NSync for the last few songs of the night. I'm actually cool with that though and it gets a little chuckle out of the customers.

Oh man, I'd love to dance to One! I'm the Metallica girl at my club so anything by them is my jam.
I asked to dance to Working Man by Rush before on a day shift. The dj and manager looked at me like I was nuts but I had a blast with it.

I can't look sexy to anything disco, and just make goofy faces for a set. But if a DJ puts on Journey...they're getting jazz hands.

Yeah... that was at my first club, in Orlando, on day shift. I got a bunch of pity tips, lol. That DJ was such a pilled out alcoholic that he actually had me choose the songs for an hour one time and then promptly passed out in the DJ booth. And then asked me for a tip at the end of the shift. He kind of reminded me of a sweaty metal head Chris Farley. Made me appreciate the fuck out of all of the awesome DJs I've had out of the year.
