I'm new to Payoneer, and still have questions and hope somebody can help. x

I see for Payoneer, that when sending a payment as a private load, there's a fee that needs paid at that point, either by the giver or the receiver. I guess guys normally opt for us to pay the fee, do they? So I should take that into account for prices? (I guess this is a question for the girls)
Also, on the 'make a private load' page, it doesn't specify currently. Is it automatically/always dollars? (maybe this is for Nissim)

Thanks x

Hi!

Yes - the currency is always USD - this is currently the only currency we can accept private loads in (since the cards are only USD at the moment). As for the first question, I'm sure the other ladies are better equipped to answer you :-)

Does anyone know how long payoneer takes to send money through direct deposit on ImLive?

Does anyone know how long payoneer takes to send money through direct deposit on ImLive?

As soon as ImLive sends the payment to your Payoneer account, we automatically transfer the funds to your bank account on file. US ACH (Direct Deposit) transfers generally take 1-3 business days to process, though officially banks state that they can take up to 7.

Does Payoneer have an option for card --> bank account transfers? I just got my first load, and I know we need several before we're able to do anything with the $? So does that option show up once I have several loads into my card?

We are planning to release a card to bank transfer service in the next few months, which will be available to over 200 countries (it is not yet available).

Hi Carla,

Our card processor was undergoing routine maintenance yesterday, which lasted roughly 20-30 minutes. This is most likely why you were unable to use the card, however it should be working fine now.

Please let me know if you have any further issues.

2 Questions because I'm paranoid of my card/$ getting frozen/eaten.

In the store:
How do I swipe my card? Credit? Debit?

ATM:
When I go to withdrawl is there a minimum we have to hit? (can't withdraw $20's? and instead have to pull out $200+?) I've read in other threads (like this one: http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?163621-Fuck-You-Payoneer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-*Rant*) of girls getting cards and money frozen or not accepted in grocery stores, etc.

What do I select? Checking? Savings?

Thanks.

You can swipe the card as credit, or debit if you'd like to enter your PIN and withdraw cash. Just make sure you have sufficient funds on the card, as it is prepaid.

For withdrawals, you'll want to select checking. There is no minimum amount on Payoneers end. In general, the only time your card will be seized is after multiple incorrect PIN entries.

So I wake up this morning to an e-mail from Walmart.com saying my transaction could not be completed due to error. I think "UGH that sucks I was really looking forward to getting that bag". Well upon further investigation I see they aren't speaking of the bag I had ordered two days ago. This was a new transaction for a $25 itunes gift card! I don't even have an mp3 player (do they still call them that?)!!!

Do I need to order a new card?! I'm so freaked out and pissed off. Now I have a $25 pending transaction even though Walmart.com denied the transaction! I don't really care about the $25 in payoneer limbo, it's more the fact that someone used my card without permission that freaks me out! Do I need to get a new card? How can I protect myself in the future?

I got zero help from your online support and had to log off before I lost my cool (happens far too often anyways).

Sophie: since your card is a pre-paid debit card, this is the procedure for transactions that are made on your card

Sophie: this also depends on the merchant itself

me: .....

me: Ooooookay

me: That's fine and dandy

me: But the "procedure" should not include people using my card without permission

me: What can I do to protect myself from this (this being unauthorized use) in the future.

Sophie: do you believe the your card was compromised? or did you give your card details to Wallmart and they declined the transaction ?

me: .....

me: Seriously?

From the beginning I was clear, this was an unauthorized use of my card. I'm so frustrated ALREADY and now I'm basically being either ignored or given canned answers (a la streamate support).

Please e-mail me at [email protected], send me a PM, or get in touch with my on Skype/ICQ (info on my profile) and I'll look in to this right away. I would need either the reference ID number for the chat (starts with LTK) or just the e-mail address on your account.

The pending charge was probably just a pre-authorization hold. It should expire on it's own within a few business days, since Wal-Mart declined it, so you won't have to pay that amount. As you clearly didn't make the transaction, the possibilities are that it's an error on Wal-Mart's end (highly unlikely) or that your card information was compromised. Due to this, I'd like to cancel your card and send you a new one.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Okay, so let's say I have funds on my payoneer card that I would like to transfer into my bank account. My bank does not have any branches in my state so I can't just withdraw cash from an ATM and deposit it. What if I were to send myself a gift on Paypal using my Payoneer card, and then transfer the funds from my paypal to my bank account? Would that work? I'm really paranoid about paypal's no adult transactions policy but this wouldn't be for an adult transaction so this would work, right?

I got such great help from Payoneer's phone support agent and from Nissim with this issue. To clarify, this was not an issue that payoneer was at fault for. I had my payoneer card saved to my "Walmart.com account" so that I didn't have to manually enter the card number with each purchase. Someone logged into my walmart.com account and tried to make a purchase, which walmart declined.

This is definitely a lesson that manually entering my card details each time I buy something is no big deal compared to what can happen with the details saved on an account.

This should work, yes, pending approval by PayPal. It certainly would not be an adult transaction.

As a side note, we're planning to launch a new card to bank transfer service, which will allow you to transfer your Payoneer card balance directly to your bank account in over 200 countries, so stay tuned for more information regarding that service.

I am having ridiculous problems with Payoneer's customer support. My card was decativiated due to inactivity. I knew that I would be receiving a payment on it this past week and so I sent an email to Payoneer support days prior in an attempt to make sure that my card was set up to load the payment I was expecting. No one ever got back to me. Now the funds have been sent but- guess what- my card is still blocked so I cannot load my card to access my funds. I called support yesterdday and spoke with an incredibly rude associate Who said it would take one to two days for my card to be reactivated. I called today to follow up and I've been told it will take another two days and there is nothing they can do to expedite the process. I just want to be able to access my money, I don't see why this is such a hard thing for payoneer to do. I'm going to be paying $34.95, or 40%, of the payment I've receivedin fees to Payoneer (the yearly fee, plus immediate load fee). You would think that for the cut they are taking they could be a little more mindful and work with customers to resolve issues like this before they arise. However, they decided to let my request for assistance go ignored and now I am stuck without access to my money. This is why I will never recommend Payoneer to anyone I know, and will be terminating my service with them as soon as I am able to access the money that is owed to me.

Thank you for your support, Nissim. I have sent you a PM with the information you've requested.

I think it's aweseome that you go above and beyond to try to help the girls on this forum. But, I wonder about the Payoneer cardholders who don't have someone advocating for them like you try to do for us. Are they just supposed to accept mediocre service?

(That's a rhetorical question, I'm just cranky because a large % of this payment is going straight to Payoneer fees, and for what I am spending I'd like for the customer service associates I speak with to not be rude to me. The gentleman I spoke to this afternoon was very poilte, but the lady I spoke with yesterday was incredibly discourteous and unhelpful.)

I know it may sound like I'm just giving you a standard reply, but I really am sorry to hear about your recent experience. I have to deal with customer support departments in my personal life, and I know what it means to have a less than satisfactory experience. While we receive thousands of inquiries per day, we work very hard with our support department to make sure that each and every one receives the best support available.

Clearly that was not the case here, and I have already notified a customer support supervisor. I'm happy that you contacted me, however as you mentioned that will not always be the case. Mediocre service is unacceptable, plain and simple.

Hi Nissim, I've recently encountered a problem with my card. I was contacted that someone tried to charge my card to a RedBox rental. And I've notified them that it was not my doing. So, they blocked my card and ordered a new card, even though I didn't approve of ordering a new card yet. So, I was told to give an address for the card to be sent, I've recently moved to a new location and told the agent and gave the address. Then I was told to give a form of proof, i.e. a card with the new address or a bill with my name on it. The problem is, my ID is expired and I've no means to get a new Id for other reasons, and my boyfriend has all the bills in his name. The only thing that has my name on it is a bank statement and the lease. Then I was told to send the lease with his ID and my ID. This is a bit too much, and I don't feel comfortable with sending his information just to receive a new card. I would like to hear from you in the near future, thanks.

I wanted to share that I had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM! I was basically told I had no other option but to send in both IDs and the proof of address with the other person's name on it.

I understand feeling uncomfortable and hope Nissim can find a solution for you but I did want to share that I went through the same process.

Hi Guys,

The issue here is that Payoneer is required to follow strict regulations when issuing prepaid cards. When fraudulent activity is reported and there is a change of address, we're required as a prepaid card issuer to confirm a valid proof of residence.

That being said, it's also a high priority of ours to ensure the best experience possible for our cardholders, and the last thing we want is to make you feel uncomfortable in the information requested. If you could please e-mail me at [email protected], I'd be happy to check the account and help resolve the issue in a way best for both sides.

We have a similar lame thing going on :(
My boyfriend lost his wallet which had both cards in it. Mine was no issue, and was sent out (waiting for it to come...pls hurry mail!!!) But apparently they have our OLD address as our shipping address...We haven't lived there since March, it's in a city that's an hour away, and we don't drive.
His card was sent to the NEW address in June.

The girl at customer service fought us and fought us, saying that no, it was sent to our old address...well...it just WASNT. We haven't been back to that old address since March, and we did not forward our mail, rather just changed our address with every company we needed to.

Now they say it's no issue, we can have the shipping address changed, they just need a document with my boyfriends name and new address on it.
Ok, easy enough, except everything is in MY name (well, we're renting and it's all inclusive, so really the only thing we're paying is a phone bill and internet bill - which are in my name)

So now our money is sitting on a card we can't get to. Sucks.

I have a recommendation for Payoneer: you know that whole 3% cross-border fee? Maybe you guys should list that clearly in your fee schedule rather than putting it in tiny letters at the bottom of the page? I'm sure Payoneer understands that most people do not read the fine print. I have great eyesight but I truly did not even notice it at the bottom of the fee schedule on your website because not only is the font so small, but it is a lighter shade of gray than the rest of the text on the page blends in very well with the background of the page. When I called to find out why all of my transactions are being charged more than what I was expecting it was pointed out to me and so while technically the information is there, it puts a bad taste in my mouth because it almost looks like Payooner is trying to be a bit deceptive about how much cardholders are being charged to use this service. I am not sure why it looks like Payoneer is trying to make this 3% per transaction fee hidden from the other fees, but I just wanted to point it out to other girls who didn't notice it, because I surely didn't.

Nissim-Payoneer
10-10-2012, 09:24 AM
It is certainly not our intention to have the fee hidden. The reason it is listed at the bottom is because it does not apply to all transactions and countries, and varies depending on the location, merchant, currency, etc.

I have passed on your feedback to the head of the department in charge of the application process, as it is certainly important information for us. Thanks again.

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to update with some good news for anyone using our Global Bank Transfer Service. In our efforts to further improve the service, we've lowered the fees even further!

For over 55 countries, the cost per payment is now as low as $2.99! Also, for our six major currencies, we've lowered the conversion cost to only 2%. Those currencies include Euro (EUR), British Pound (GBP), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Philippine Peso (PHP), Australian Dollar (AUD) and Romanian Leu (RON).

You can read more about it on our blog: http://blog.payoneer.com/?p=1807

Not a noob question at all ;)

Local bank transfers would be included in this service. The Global Bank Transfer Service includes 3 things:

- Local bank transfers
- Wire transfers
- US ACH transfers

This specific fee change is for transfers to countries where we have local transfer options. This means we're sending funds to you from a local bank account in your country, in your local currency.

I've noticed a few questions/comments pop up in the camming connection section of the forum lately, and just wanted to remind you that I'm unfortunately unable to post there. I do my best to follow up via PM if possible, but I'd hate to spam you without you asking for help ;) I try my best to stay out of the conversation unless someone asks for assistance, or I think my input is necessary.

Nissim - I recently emailed Streamate to ask them about getting a Payoneer card, and they said to contact Payoneer. These are my questions:

I am thinking about signing up for Payoneer to have ACH transfers right to my bank account. What I'm wondering is whether I go through the process of signing up for a new card, or if I can use an existing card that I received through another site? Also, how quickly are deposits posted to the Payoneer account, and do I need to do anything each week to transfer funds to my checking account?

Thanks!

Payoneer's ACH payment service does not require you to have a card. In fact, you need to either choose the Payoneer card or ACH service.

When you select Payoneer as your payment method for Streamate, you will be directed to an online application page. At the start of the application, you can choose to get paid either to a Payoneer card, or directly to your bank account.

Once you sign up for bank transfers, SM payments will automatically be paid to your bank account on file. Payoneer processes the payments, however there is no card associated; SM pays you to Payoneer, and we transfer the payment directly to your US bank account.

What day are payments sent to bank accounts and what are the fees involved? I stopped using payoneer because of all the fees but this might be a good option if the fees are low...?

Payoneer sends the payments as soon as they are received. The payment schedule depends on the partner; I believe Streamates pays on Fridays, but you'd have to confirm with them.

The pricing for Streamates US ACH payments via Payoneer is: one-time setup fee of $5, and then $3 per payment (regardless of the amount). For non-US bank transfers, there is no setup fee, and you pay as little as $2.99 per payment. The exact amount depends on your country (and I an confirm if you let me know which country). There are no maintenance fees involved; you pay only per payment.

For residents outside the US, we support transfers to over 200 countries. We offer a local bank transfer solution to over 50 countries, which means you can get paid from a local bank in your country, in your local currency. For the remaining 150+ countries we provide a wire transfer service.

No need to apologize; even if it's been answered I'm happy to answer again.

We currently support only 1 payment method for the same partner account. So for example if you have an account with Streamate, you need to choose either the Payoneer card, or our bank transfer service. If you already have the card and want to switch to bank transfers, and vice versa, you can contact our customer support team and they will assist you in making the switch.

If you have an account with more than one of our partners, you can choose a different payment method for each one. For example, you can get paid to a Payoneer card for your Streamate account, and for ImLive choose to get paid via our bank transfer service.

I hope that answers the question.

Two questions...

1)when a private load is made, how long does it take before it is approved with an estimated load date?

2)I made an online purchase with my Payoneer card, which was subsequently cancelled because of "addresses not matching". I don't understand as I have the correct address on my payonner account. The main question though, is that on my payoneer account, this amount has not been refunded into my balance yet. It's showing in the 'preauthorised transaction list' dated the 13th of November. Does it take a long time to be credited back to me, or did they not actually refund me?

Nissim, PMing you incase you need to take a look. xxx

Hi!

To answer your questions:

1) When a private load is made, it passes through our security engine. Here is is either automatically approved, or sent for a manual review. This can take 1 business day (if not sooner), after which the status is updated in your My Account page and an estimated load date is assigned.

2) Some merchant check your card's address and telephone when making a purchase. It would need to match exactly; including the phone number, as it is listed on your Payoneer account.

The charge you see is a pre-authorization hold. Generally these expire after 7 business days, after which the funds are released back to your available card balance. (You weren't actually charged, the funds are simply on hold until the merchant's authorization either expires, or they complete the purchase).

So I've been camming for YEARS, 8 to be exact. I've been on sites like Niteflirt, Ifriends, IMlive, and now I have taken on Streamate. I love the traffic and I loved that they pay via Payoneer.

I got my deposit on Friday, as always and let the money sit. Rent was coming so I figured I would save it there and transfer it when it was time to pay. WRONG. By Saturday, my account was down to a balance of $0.00... which I am not even sure how that's possible considering it would be virtually impossible for something to be the EXACT amount of what was in my account. I checked transactions and there was a POS Point of Sale purchase at FOOT LOCKER in San Diego. SAN DIEGO? I am in Las Vegas! Seriously?

So I called Payoneer, filed my card stolen (even though I still HAVE the card) and requested my money back. Then I called Foot Locker and gave them the exact time this happened. LUCKY for me it was within the hour so it was fairly easy for them to pull up transaction records, and a recording of the person who used that card. It was a man purchasing the NEW Jordan's that had just come out. A name I didn't recognize.

I call back to Payoneer, give them the information I obtained and ask when I will have my money back. The guy said 7-10days. Ok, no problem.... sounds about right. He said they wouldn't charge me for a new card. WRONG AGAIN. $12.95 and it would take up to 14 business days to process and another 10 to be received. AND when I read the email it said that I would be given a CONDITIONAL credit until the investigation is complete and POSSIBLY get my money back. The credit meaning it shows that it's in my account but I can't touch it.

I am super heated about this. Rent's due, and someone is WEARING my rent. They took everything I had earned... EARNED. That money wasn't GIVEN to me. AND when I called BACK to Payoneer, I got some chick who clearly spoke little english and kept repeating "If that's what the prior rep said than that's what it is".... I asked to speak to a manager and was told no.

Needless to say I have changed to PAPER check... and thinking of closing my payoneer all together. I hate bad customer service having worked in it for 10+ years. If you can't pay QUALIFIED people to run your customer service, then I don't feel you deserve to get MY money either.
