There's this pretty SM model who has a 'Big Dick Club' (guys who have tipped 50 Gold and up), and on her bedroom wall she has a bunch of colored dicks (pink, blue, purple, etc.) with guys' names on them. LOL. That's funny, and I think it's GENIUS! :)
With only getting 35 percent I dont think I would even want guys to give me that much because id just be thinking how much they just gave the site for nothing that's why I prefer token sites MFC has the best customer support I have ever worked with for cam sites too.
If a guy really wanted to help me out I would have him get me something off my amazon wishlist. I know Streammate has strict rules on that on everything but I think thats why theyre so hard on it because in a way they are taking advantage of us giving us so little when they really dont do a lot for us in my opinion.

True, but if I thought that way every time a guy gave me Gold (that I DON'T want him giving the site that much money), then I might as well not even work on there. On days when I really needed money ASAP, something like a $50 tip - for a month of daily pics - really helped me out, because it helped get me that much closer to the daily pay minimum ($20 minimum for daily pay on your Payoneer card).
Yeah, I think MFC has better Model Support too, and I think I'm one of the few models who prefers MFC over Streamate. I chuckled at one of the e-mails I got from Streamate (for my MEMBER account) where they gave me 5 free credits (I hadn't logged in a while, and they "missed" me), and they were thanking me for being a member, and reminding me that I can go check out the FREE videos of the SM models. *sigh* LOL. It was pretty interesting to see how, as a model, they're so quick to dismiss me when I have a problem...and how, as a member, they were sorta giving me the royal treatment.
I don't do Amazon wishlists because I don't trust it (all it takes is for the buyer to act like something went wrong, and next thing you know Amazon is showing him an invoice with your address on it), and I don't want guys thinking they can just keep buying me items INSTEAD OF giving me money. I know an MFC model who said she couldn't even make her MFC countdowns anymore cuz guys kept wanting to buy her wishlist items instead.

I always laugh when performers say you should worry about what goes in in your room. Most know damn well they watch other rooms, they just don't admit to it. Turning a blind eye is why the site has so many moochers.
I do watch other rooms. I just don't worry about what the performers are doing when I watch them. I never said I didn't watch other girls rooms. Only that I didn't worry about what I was watching.
There can also be a lot of secondary factors why the site has so many moochers other than just what the girls are giving away for free. The fact that Streamate advertises itself as a dating site that you don't have to spend any money on (or a very limited amount. "Look how far $5 can get you!") is only one of them.

As I do you. You know I love you, bb!
I am sure I don't need to tell you that I think you you brought up some very valid and important points. You know me well, I don't show anything for free. Hell....half the time I don't even show my face.
It is just that I can't help myself from giggling whenever any thread of stripperweb brings up morals. ;D
Just wanted to make another valid point regarding nudity etc in freechat. Many of us are still amazed/dismayed that working within the Adult/Sex industry is still stigmatised, I'm sure that ladies posing naked and/or putting on full shows in freechat can't be helping that cause?:-\
There are many arguments against free shows etc, I have yet to see/hear any valid arguments on why we should give it all away? 'Because we want to' is not a valid argument to me.
I love playing devils advocate ;)

Well, 'we want to' is as valid as an argument for being a camgirl in a society that looks down on it as it is for giving away stuff for free.
But since saying that doesn't keep with the fun of debating I can actually think of several reasons to give it all away, but instead of boring the crap out of you I will just refer you to 'Free: The Future of a Radical Price by Chris Anderson' instead. It is an entire book on the concept of how giving things away for free can pay off in the end if you do it right.
What can I say? I love playing devils advocate too. ;)

The thing that kind of stinks is that SM enforces its rules randomly or selectively, it seems. I heard a model collecting guests' email addresses so she could send them her Amazon wishlist. That's totally annoying because I've had so many guys ask to buy me things but I follow the rules.
It is very frustrating to have to be the kill-joy saying no to guys for things everyone else is doing like panty sales when they can click on the "similar model" widget right next to my chat and have a pretty good chance of getting a yes. However, I know my luck and I always end up being the one who gets caught.
Ultimately, I have to do what's right for me so I don't give myself anything extra to worry about at the end of the day. If I can't make my money straight up then I have to rethink this whole gig.

I do agree with this concept. I give my paying customers lots of freebies as extras; however it's all perfectly legit under SM TOS.

I asked about that, they said they have been doing that for years and that it's nothing new. If that is true, then that wouldn't be the major reason for the moochers. It still doesn't help that performers are getting fully naked in free chat. One of the cam performers posts screenshots of other performers on their Twitter page breaking the rules. One of the shots showed a couple having sex in free chat. She said she is making a blog to post all the screenshots on and is calling out all the performers that break any rules. Not sure if I agree with that, it should just be turned over to Liz. However it will be hard for Streamate to not notice a blog like that. It will in time force them to do something.

Nice how they hang-up on the customer, too (assuming that's what happened - I couldn't hear the disconnect). And the twitter name: @StreamateBS.

Oh great! ANOTHER CAM GIRL WILL TEACH THE DUMB ASSES its OK to take screen shots and post them. ;)
so, this has happened many times before and the result was termination of the account and suspension of the model posting due to "bashing" so yeah,
More clients will take screenshots, posting via twitter, tumblr, any site they can post and pissed off models flooding SM with "love notes"
Do ppl not think of the aftermath results? Some things need thought before putting into action. This can seriously backfire for the worse.
Anyways
I had customers call sm before with the exact same reaction, he mustve done this many times to make a date and time with it.

kinda catch22 bc some do escort and advertise on their own sites where to find them when not "available". Smart idea for the most part to tie in all business on one site, easy access. I can see where custis get that mixed up if they flip through cams.
Linking cams, dancing, escorting, porn is normal IMO, all of it falls under "sex worker" asking doesn't bother me. It is the sex industry, who am I to work in it and be surprised if I an asked about indulging in other forms of the industry? Most guys o cam sites are looking for the fantasy, not a real "escort". The gentlemen that have escorts know where to find them for the most part and use GOOGLE.
When they start with the dating, I don't assume nor have seen any type of dating promotion for SM. I see these members have never purchased a show and looking for "free pussy" as most think we are easy prey due to how vanilla society views us, so why would the normal vanilla man think different? They love to know where I am from in hopes of being close enough for a date. Its a fantasy. 99.9% of men are wuss puss and will not meet in person, its a fantasy. If they dont spend money on site , they just want a cracked out chick that doesnt give a fuck, they are the fools that will meet a woman and prob knife her dumbass.

I think in all honesty she's frustrated with the site and their lack of support. The rules say one thing, customer support says another thing, Liz says something different and then Shawn says another thing. So you have all these performers being told different things and when you see them doing something you were told no, you think they are breaking the rules. I was told we could post our Twitter handle, others are told no. I was told I could give out my Amazon wishlist link and others were told no, I was told I could sell items like panties and bra's and again others were told no. So the site causes a lot of confusion because there is no policy they abide by. Frankly if they just had one set of rules they listed for us all and actually enforced them, it would end the confusion. Rule three under our Code of Conduct was recently changed to no nudity at all in free chat. Does that apply now or when does it start? I'm sure many performers haven't even saw that rule change. The lack of communication is disgusting.
SM needs to make an example of themselves instead of blaming performers. She is a great performer and I don't blame her one bit for being pissed off. We just need to aim that anger at the right place and that's the site not each other.
Assuming it's the person I'm seeing on twitter right now, she needs to be careful with that. SM has no problem making an example of someone.

The guys that ask me if I am an escort are really aggressive about it. They will ask and I always reply in a polite manner and tell them I am not an escort. Then they say why, and offer me more money. I say no thank you and they get pissed. I don't care if someone is an escort, I just don't want to be one. I wish they could just accept no and not turn nasty about it. Damn I just want to do cam shows and have some fun.
I haven't seen any of the dating promo's either. A customer told me they clicked on a link that said "Find single ladies in your area" and that took him to the site. Even if they do that kind of stuff, once you see the site you know it isn't a dating site. men think with their dick and not their brain, that's their biggest issue.

This. Lately when I get a tip out of the blue in guest chat my heart sinks because there's a good chance I am going to have a sorely disappointed tipper. I try to mask the look of fear and confusion flash in my eyes as I say, "Thank you sweetie! That's so nice of you. . . what was that for?"
On a semi-related note, how sad is it to watch people in guest chat try to pledge into your Gold Show after it started but put in a too-small amount? I imagine them trying to jump across the wall into the castle but it is just too high. #sosad

Yeah I think I'm listed as Chicago... A lot of people are like "I'm from Chicago too" and I'm like cool... I never said I was. Lol
And Ive been noticing a lot more tipping than normal lately too in shows and after mostly, although I have gotten more just because tips in free chat lately although they are usually only a couple of gold... Still appreciated Greatly nonetheless
Even more sad than ppl pledging too little for a gold show in guest chat is watching people tip in guest chat while you are in private thinking it will let them in... I happens to me every week or so and they usually tip 10-15 gold until they give up, sorry but there is no way Im going to stop my show for a paying custie and tell them to stop tipping bc with my luck the one in the show always gets ADD and leaves lol.

Yeah, I don't get it. Usually guys will either rate me a 5 or they won't rate at all. If I'm a 5 star model, and then I drop down to 4 or 4 1/2 stars after doing ONE exclusive show with a 1-star rating, that just seems strange to me. How could one little rating have that much power? LOL.

Livecamfun.com/bio - Someone posted this affiliate website here on CC about 2 years ago. Mine was pretty funny- they stick random stories & pics in for each performer. I'm from Iowa apparently.
I don't know if the site is widely used now, but my page is still up there. It looks ridiculous, too. Ex: One pic is captioned saying "I love this outfit" and it's a pic of my toes!
I guess it works or they wouldn't do it. :D

If 35% of OUR money goes into paying that piece of shit customer service, it certainly makes me think twice about working there. The thought of that bitch getting a cut of my money to perpetuate the attitude of "models pay doesn't matter" to our clients, how unreasonable would it be for me to say "how about we don't care about your pay, fuckwad?" and promptly leave their site in favor of a site which treats us better?

That was a shock. It isn't always the performers fault if a show disconnects and if it is due to the site they should pay the performer. When I said I don't go Gold shows on here I didn't say that to make myself look better or bring other people down. I just wasn't comfortable the few times I did them. Customers wanted all kinds of things in the show I didn't want to do and they wanted pictures and video. A discount should be good enough, but to many it isn't. Then when I was going to give Gold shows another try, all these issues popped up. I know several performers who were disconnected from their show with less than a minute left. To work hard, reach your goal and not get paid would be horrible.
Customer service has had issues for years. If you read review sites, Streamate always has a lot of customers complaining that CS is rude to them. That's not the way to treat your customers at all. Also when performers point this stuff out, other performers think it's to start trouble and it isn't. If they are rude to their customers, rude to their performers and refuse to acknowledge site issues, then we are all screwed. These issues are pointed out so that hopefully if they see enough people complaining they will take it seriously and make a change.
Not sure if she needs to be fired, but she does need a talking to.
Oh my god...

The thought of that bitch getting a cut of my money to perpetuate the attitude of "models pay doesn't matter" to our clients, how unreasonable would it be for me to say "how about we don't care about your pay, fuckwad?" and promptly leave their site in favor of a site which treats us better?
As a SM model, I like the idea of that woman getting fired.

Have any of you sold panties on Streamate?
Support just rejected 2 of videos for my gold club because I mention selling panties as part of a panty fetish video. I see models selling panties for gold in free chat everyday!
They really need to go over the rules and send it to support staff so the rules can be enforced consistently.
