the thing with snap chat is that these guys buy or get your snap, and the pervs trade them back and forth, they just screen grab vids and posts and send them in share them with their creepy friends.
it spreads like wildfire via whatsapp ect.
so keep that in mind.
even my husband's stupid lil friends send him snaps of girls and stuff from camsoda. haha if they only knew that we actually made content with masks. they are so immature
we just laugh about it. but really its not funny because it spreads so fast.
thats why i dont do social media at all. nope. no thanks.

things are back to normal for me the past 2 days. pulling in some good money.
but i did have my feed go red 2 times, frozen screens had to reload but thankfully the clients came back! lucky.
hope this continues.. because elections and halloween was a no go!

Stupid question here from a SM newbie but are we on porn hub too? Two people today have mentioned it in free, one asking what % 'ph' take to which I had no idea what he was talking about until just now someone else said it was their first time on Pornhub? I had no idea...

We’re on lots of white label sites too, and Pornhublive is one of them. Exactly the same as SM but they find us through PH. You can change this if you put geo block on

Ugh..I had to create an account on here, hoping someone will help. I can not start my stream since 5th November. Using SMConnect and their web encoder. When I press 'start', the system diagnostic pop up window says it is all set up to stream. Then I press OK - and it should start connecting me, but instead of it the pop up window appears - in like a second, without even attempting to connect. It says: 'Connection was lost. Please try again' and the countdown starts from 30 to 0. Then it shows the same damn window 'connection was lost', then counts it down and again and again....
Hell, I think I ve tried EVERYTHING already. I tried to use external encoder (OBS), but couldn't make it connect with SMConnect.
My internet is wire and fast, gamer laptop,logitech c920 webcam.

Have you tried connecting with your phone? Might be an option till you figure it out. Works fine on my basic Mac. What about wiping your computer to get a fresh slate?

My phone is not really advanced, I actually never tried to use it for streaming, really got used to that ''laptop+cam+internet cable'' combo, but I might try it...for a science, thank you so much:}
Yesterday I reset my windows10 to factory settings and today tried to go live - same error, that's why I 've desperately joined this forum to seek help >.<

SM support SUCKS! Have you tried emailing Liz? That's the only way I ever get anything done on that site when there is an issue or I need help :)

Get it all the time. What browser are you in? Do you have any extensions like ad blockers etc that might be blocking it ?

I have an iPhone 6 Plus. I just bring it up because since there’s so few other way to make a living (ya know with pandemic and everything) it’s a good back up plan if you need to make money

God damn yes, it does:banghead::banghead::'(. They answered me just now, asking to check out my mic and cam settings and sending them my stream settings. Still having the same shitty error.
I haven't emailed Liz because I don't know her email. Could you please tell me?

I usually love to use Firefox, I tried Chrome (it shows thesame error) and Edge (it couldn't even download the page lol)
Just checked firefox out, I have no extensions at all. If you get the same thing all the time, how do you manage to fix it?

it;s their NEON Live, yes? And it s supported only on iOS. Damn I'll have to buy iPhone then, lol.
I thought of finding another cam site of the similar kind, while trying to fix this, but read here (some girl wanted to do the same) that streamate is super dooper unique.

yes, I did, Chrome shows the same thing, Edge can't load anything at all. I even reset the whole Windows to factory settings and erased everything from my laptop, but it did not help.

have you tried the regular browser on a phone? That is what I use on the iphone and ipad bc neon doesnt work properly for the past year on a ipad. support said to use the browser instead
I use it as a last minute resort bc if lighting is not perfect it looks grainy if Im using the front facing cam. i haven't tried casting it to another device using the back camera

outdoors does great

i loved the app bc i could run it on data w a clear stream but not in the browser on my phone. shit is grainy when im driving

I don't have iphone, always used laptop for streaming. Everything was good until I tried to log on 5th Nov. Now this shit just haunts me, this is almost a week, their support is dead, and it sucks to look for another cam site like this one.
I've messaged Liz this morning, but got no answer yet. what is DxDiag?
SM support asked if the system has access to my mic and cam and also required screenshot of my stream settings. Fck, I hate to...be unable to fix it. I'll screen record anything they want, if they can solve this bug :biggrin:
Girls who get same message on SmConnect - do you get it when you try to log online or you get it when you are live already? I ask because I can't even start and curious how you fix it. I 've tried anything, really. Thought it was my laptop and took another one. It sees my cam, my mic, everything is OK. Then - bam - same shit again. So I bet it's their bug.:'(

Two hours... $1.50 and now needing to borrow money to pay my already late rent this month cause daily pay is being pulled as we speak from BModels and I didnt hit the deadline. I so much wanted SM to work for me when I am able to sit and cam but its looking more and more I have to move my eggs elsewhere. I've noticed a lot of us (even top row models) are sliding down the page so I know its not just me, it is most all of us that are feeling the pain on SM but damn ya know? I've noticed a few of the tops ones have even left the site to and are on onlyfans now and other venues. This is sad for me! For all of us!

Snapshot feature mandatory from next month. Mine doesn’t show (as far as I can see) when I’ve tried using it so I have no idea if it makes a difference to traffic or not. I don’t bloody want it, little annoyed.

Glad I am not the only one who can't see the snapshot show up on the front page (use firefox and keep my cache clean) Seems like some guys can, email made it sound like they all will get that setting now.

I really like the idea of it though, and can see how it can bring in customers...

but this is going mandatory because they are using this as a verification. They are covering themselves that they know we are true to our IDs and that we are willingly logging on. I may not like all this but at least they are ahead of the game.

I’ve tried chrome and safari and can’t see mine when I’ve tried, but I can see other people’s. I just really don’t like it as I look gormless on all photos taken with my webcam/laptop compared with my static biopic or even photos taken on my phone

When you guys experience this issue, you're not having the snapshot feature pop up at all? I feel like the issue has to be a glitch on SM's end.


they never heard of the issue and to screen record it when it happened again
everything was sent to tech support
after i sent them my file i was told to make sure i was only running sm. Tech saw where i tripped my cord but to them it looked like I had a few crashes. i have those daily. seriously, my stilettos are next to my cord
told them it happened on ipad as well lol
and
i was told to buy a new computer lol

ETA: my problem is usually solved when tech support is involved
If it is on my end they usually tell me

I have snapshot from starts, since I'm set for trying their new features while they are in beta version. It works well, but if I use firefox I could only make one snapshot when I started the show. In Chrome I could see the snapshot button on my video window though (I use web encoder).
I agree that it's better that their previous random ugly shots lol. I like the fact they let us control them now.

Then I log into my account and see messages from SM about what amazing new features they just made. I used to have some problems right before their new awesome updates, so it led me to think they fuck their system up sometimes with updates. But I've never encountered with the shit which doesn't let me cam for a week. Whew!
Now I miss their oldschool chat mode and using external encoder. It looked awkward, but it worked properly. *crying*

My stream was trash yesterday, but I think it's a tech issue on my end. I'm looking into getting a new modem/router. For now, I've moved my cam equipment closer to the router. Maybe try that. If it works, the issue is on your end.

If you have a model profile on PH ask SM support how to hook them both up so that when you are live on SM an icon comes up on your PH channel to let your followers know your camming live

I got an email from support about 3 weeks ago saying as I had ticked the box to try out new stuff they were putting a link in my profile to connect SM and PH.
I've got about 10K followers on my model page on PH and have really noticed my camming money go up since connecting the 2.
Try emailing support and ask if its possible for you to do the same.

So what ended up happening? Because I'm under the impression that you're not having the issue anymore, did you buy a new computer or did the issue randomly fix itself one day? Also was it an intermittent issue and you were still able to get your stream going at times or was it like Luci Fer's issue where you literally couldn't stream at all for days?

I'm trying to figure out if you and Luci are having the same exact issue because a few weeks ago we were all having issues with getting our streams to start and the website timing out(which was annoying for me because like you I start and stop my stream a lot and it was a pain in the ass every time I needed to restart) and it was definitely on SM's end.

Took a snapshot and it's updated on SMConnect, but when I check all models it's still showing my old pic. This thing just doesn't work.

I don’t give up too easy. I would spend a hour or more to connect it. It times out after 2 minutes
It happened for 2 weeks. Everyday. I emailed them October 5th after a week.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with my computer. My specs are great. I think they wanted to blame my crashes but the iPad did it as well. They told me to use the browser. I already use the browser on iPad. NEON hasn’t been working properly.
I emailed them and my problem was fixed that day with no explanation

I know when it is sm or my computer.
As long as my problem is fixed when I email them I don’t question it.

I have snapshot from starts, since I'm set for trying their new features while they are in beta version. It works well, but if I use firefox I could only make one snapshot when I started the show. In Chrome I could see the snapshot button on my video window though (I use web encoder).
I agree that it's better that their previous random ugly shots lol. I like the fact they let us control them now.

This tool is used to collect info about devices to help troubleshoot problems with DirectX sound and video. A support person might ask for this info, or you might post it in a forum when you ask for help. In Windows, select Start and enter dxdiag into the search box on the taskbar

6.5 hrs to make medium goal. That's it...it just takes around 6 hrs to make my med goal now. Just gotta STFO these days. There was a period of 2 hrs where I ddin't make a dime. Just totally dead. Well, it is what it is.

Hello :) I wanna ask you ladies if some of you have been allowed to stream at 4k or 1440? I just check 1440 and nothing happens and still appear 1980x1080. I dunno. Thanks in advance. is some new update I saw when I click the resolution. :(
