They usually answer in about 3-4 days or so. And you have already done the best thing in this situation - messaged Liz. Idk about their days off, but you probably 've done everything possible and just have to wait for their answer.
in the usa its a 3 day weekend. so just hang in there. liz answeres so fast. i hope she is enjoying her weekend . when she is back im sure she will answer. i cant imagine how many emails she gets on a daily basis.

Well they finally checked mine again. Misread the date on the bill and refused it again. This is insane. I hope Liz appears today and sorts it.
Makes me so mad. I have been on the site 6 years earned them a fortune and now I am sat here unable to work. I will remember this. I have other sites but it is my main egg. I am seriously pissed. Of course the majority won't do anything so they won't care.

Is the verification different for everyone?
All I was asked for were front and back of ID, I used driver license and a selfie.
I find it funny it said cute smile or something along that line after selfie was taken. I hate selfies.

When I did it it asked to track my location, headshot holding ID, front of ID, back of ID and then Selfie at the end.

It asked for a selfie but I believe it wanted a selfie WITH you holding the ID as well. The whole process was terrible for me. I was pulled offline for 2 days.

I submitted my documents, but my account still got closed! Grrr. I might try myfreecams until they get it figured out. Anyone else have their account closed due to their new process. I emailed Liz. Although I wasn’t rude or disrespectful, I couldn’t hide my anger. They should have asked me to resubmit my documents before closing me account without warning. I’m hoping it will get resolved sooner rather than later.

Yes I mentioned this. It was such a huge headache and I felt a punishment. It stopped a rather large income stream for me over 2 days. I submitted my documents and verification several several times. Finally they reset something on their end and it got sorted out FINALLY. 2 full days offline then by the time I got reactivated, it was too far in my working day to recover the 3rd day as well.

I could have sworn it only asked me for a selfie. I had seen people saying here it asked them for a selfie holding ID so I thought maybe that would be next, but after my selfie, that was it. I’ve been second guessing myself since.
The EU rep responded quickly and said if the verification wasn’t clear enough, they may send me another link by email to try again. A bit vague if you ask me. I suppose it’s a waiting game.
I can only imagine over 4k models doing the verification, guess they have assigned the task to several employees to verify what they receive thorough the provided links, errors may happen so people get their accounts closed accidentally. What a struggle for a lot of cam models.
I am happy all went ok with my verification few days ago so I could continue to stream, I too was nervous here.
Yes they asked for just a selfie at the end and the text was kinda funny-friendly, I was surprised here.

Submitted mine today and got the message it was successful. I'll message Liz tomorrow so she can verify.
For those that got their accounts closed, it wouldn't surprise me if support thought you wanted your account closed. There are some real special ones, LOL. Message Liz so she can rectify the situation.
The 'working 40 hours a week' stress must have really gotten to support!

I am so embarrassed for them. If I owned a camsite I would never run it in such a manner. It really shows how much they don't care about us to devote so many resources to add facial recognition to cover themselves but can't be bothered to have a phone help line for us. We can go anywhere. They need to realize that they have no income if we don't work on there. Almost every single camsite has better communication than SM

I mean the problem with the verification is that it is a third party that takes on this responsibility, not streamate. The software isn’t that good anywhere.
These facial scans fail like this often, one is being used for benefits is Louisiana, and has denied people their money that way.
They shouldn’t be dropping people especially since they obviously only tested it on a employee’s iPhone before making us put our livelihood in their hands.

My form of ID was a passport. After I submitted I received an email saying that it was successful. Then a couple days later I received another email stating that my photo was blurry and to resubmit. I’ve emailed support twice to have them send me the link so I can resubmit, but haven’t heard back yet, it’s been nearly a week now :(

mine was a passport too, I never got an email, but the whole process was completed and it said done or whatever, I can't remember now. I still have the banner at the top of my dashboard but if I click on it, it just shows the 5 circles full - so process complete and then returns me to the dashboard. I am still streaming though so I hope everything is ok.
Still cant change the room topic, but I made a bit of a nicer show description so at least that makes a bit more sense.
Banned words is a good thing I found out about today though. I'd love to see the list, and even better I would love to be able to add to the list for my room. Imagine that!

I know you’re just being cheeky, and Liz is a good at dealing with most of our issues. I don’t have anything against her personally, but corporate is a whole other story.
I have a small savings and am able to work at the club, but not all of us have other options-now we know why we should never rely on one employer (camming or vanilla work.) The customers are able to call support, but we’re expected to take our 35% and wait days and sometimes weeks for our issues to get resolved?
Once they see their revenue drop they’ll work quickly to get girls back to work. If not cam sites are a dime a dozen. Starting over sucks, but at least there new model money on other cam sites.
I’ll work on my other business and income generating activities. That’s all I can do anyways. I would encourage other models to just find other work until this mess gets cleaned up.

well when you get fired with no explanation or remedy that’s cause for a meltdown. Im usually sweet but this was poorly implemented. I’m going to try to be patient. I’m guessing once they see their revenue drop they’ll work quickly to get girls accounts reopened. If not cam sites are a dime a dozen. Starting over sucks, but at least there new model money on other cam sites.

Liz does not equal sm, sm does not equal the credit card companies and their rules dictated by anti porn groups. But there is still fault on sm.
I’ve been the Liz in a vanilla company and it is especially hard when the company you represent has dropped the ball. So when I have to reach out I do the same as you. They are for their legal protections separating themselves from determining our adult status. They really have to up model support especially with the new requirements. They are understaffed and it is really showing.

Regarding the 35% that have been mentioned over and over, SM doesn't keep 65%. While it's true that there are sites offer up to 80% your cut but 80% of zero traffic is still $0.

Yes, you can. I do it all the time. I run Lovense in the background and keep Feel Connect open because it tends to disconnect more often. It doesn't disconnect it as often as it used to though.

I was just asked for a front and back ID (I provided a passport) then a normal selfie, no selfie with the ID either.
On the other hand, I never got any message back from SM (I submitted my documents Thursday, as soon as I was given the link), the link banner isn't gone and the guest performer still has to get verified which he physically can't do because the verification page isn't working anymore. I'm somewhat surprised my acct is still working.

I've seen at least a few models put their IG handles in their topics suggesting that ppl subscribe to them - could be under the same smartass studio (kinda similar room decor and personas), or mb one of the girls was the first one to do it and others deemed it a good idea. So probably the site's trying to somehow prevent people from doing so.

This. That thing bothers me too. And the fact that there 's some 3rd party company, and nobody provided us with their Terms and conditions. Who are them? Where are they located? How long will they keep the shots on their servers? How will they use it? It's irresponsible as fuck, how can I be sure they won't sell my data to darknet to some shady motherfuckers?
And what if I don't have damn iphone? So should I go and buy it just because someone cant figure out if it's me on my account. Ffs. I start to question if I am me at all.;D
Ladies who went through this, is it better to use phone or laptop? I am very awkward when it's about making pics by phone.

I appreciate that I have no idea what SM spends the 65% cut on that they take from our earnings but I would have thought it was ample to be able to employ a decent small support team. It's not even like they need an office, it works perfectly well remotely.
