I've just emailed Paxum to ask them if they use PacNet as their processor. There certainly isn't any information regarding any issues using their services on the site.
Hopefully they're not using Pacnet and Paxum will still be good to use x

Apparently paxum also uses pacnet.
Re payoneer card in some shops you can use the card to get cashback and draw out your money that way to avoid the atm fees. I haven't found anywhere i can do that as yet but know people who have. You can use it as a normal debit card so that's how i have always used it. I just use that money for online shopping and paying some bills. Having to cash it out is going to be a nightmare considering how much most of us earn!!

For clarity, we also need to know if they use PacNet as their Paxum>Bank Account (EFT/Direct Deposit) processor. I know some ladies have the card, but this is expensive to obtain and comes with transaction fees.

Pint of milk, packet of brioché and £480 cash back please and thankyou.
I've signed up for both Paxum and Payoneer now, I'm not overly concerned at this point about not being able to cash out my credits because as it was mentioned on the AW forum, some folk will down tools over this so there's potentially more clients to go around. I know that may sound a bit crass but better to make the most of a bad situation and work work work I think. Then when something gives there's a pot at the end of the pissy rainbow to celebrate with.

I have started threads on UKPunting and UKEscorting to see if any of the guys have had (or will have) problems buying credits. You can see the threads for yourself, but I will report back anyway.
I'm not on cam or I m this week due to internet issues but I'm still getting calls so I guess the guys can still buy credits.
I reckon a lot of our AW busness comes from the likes of UK Punting - It might be better to delete that thread if you can Cat. Its only going to dent customer confidence - We don't want to scare anyone off.
Adultwork will find another processor - There is no way they are going to let a multi million pound established business go under just because of a payment processor problem. They will get it sorted. They have to do because this will be costing them big time.
I know its stressful for us all this and it a huge worry but its best to try and not panick and just carry on as normal and trust that AW will get something sorted ASAP
Hiya, just checked on their fees and cash withdrawal is $3.15 per transaction, which if you take our your weeks money doesn't really work out much, it does if you're withdrawing a little bits over time, but I wont be.
I may email payoneer and ask about cash withdrawals and if accepting money from AW is affected.

I emailed them this morning but not heard anything. Up to 5 business days for a reply! Which is pants

I'm just looking at this https://www.hsbc.co.uk/1/2/overseas-account-opening. Its says 'Whether you're emigrating, retiring, studying or working abroad, or just need an International account, we are here to help.' Could be something?
I looked into getting a Canadian HSBC account recently...there was a requirement to have Canadian nationality (which I have), but you have to have an HSBC account here first and pay a few hundred into it every month, and there's a £100 fee to open the international account.

That's exactly how I am trying to see it. However, I have a nagging concern that we will never see this money AND that the customers soon won't be able to purchase credits. No customers, no income.
I am not usually a pessimist, but Damn these last 24 hours have knocked my industry confidence.

I can't delete, but will let it drop. I don't think much of the cam biz comes from UKP - many of them are quite vocal in that they wouldn't ever want to spend money on AW the site itself. Plus I hope I worded it without a scare-mongering tone. The guys who can still spend WILL spend, other guys might try a test purchase and find they now have a few credits to spare. And when the good news comes that a new processor has been found, that should give new found interest.

I wonder if we can still tomorrow take our payment s via the EU way like we use to before the UK/FPS system got set up as they today had the email from the webmaster asking for more infor hopefully overnight AW will update the page and that may be an option but I would think as it did say they have a new processor company earmarked for UK that they will get it sorted ASAP as they losing out too. I am holding my credits there for now in a holding pot and I think the payment in pending as not recieved wont go through as if done for fraud that company ceases so hoping we can get that back onto our AW account tomorrow as they put something simialr in the update at bottom of the pacnet page x fingers & toes xd xx

Yes, I just asked if they was using them as a processor & I explained the PacNet situation ( In case they didn't know) Once I get a reply & if they say they're not using PacNet then I'll ask them to clarify that they're definitely not using them for EFT payments.
I've got a feeling that Paxum might have been better prepared for this than AW - PacNet has been under suspicion for years from the article AW linked to on the AWF.

Adultwork was not even prepared for the whole VAT shitstorm. They had no idea what they were doing / charging etc.

Paxum tends to change their affiliated banks and service providers like underwear. I wouldn't worry about them coming up with something quickly.

I know its a huge headache - my blood pressure is sky high today I'm sure - what with this processor issue, internet dropouts and to top it off theres a problem with the phone mast in my area!
I'm going to be using Paxum & just hope for the best and I've cashed in a small amount of credits on AW and I'll transfer that to Paxum 1st as a trial run just to make sure it gets there without any problems.
I have used Paxum for about a year now and I've not had them mess up any of my EFT payments so far. I've just been using them for a side site I work on.

No idea, our Payoneer models are about 90% card users as GBT hasn't been an option in years for new US accounts. I think this is partly the reason - they weren't counting on long-term relationships with second-tier banking partners due to risks like this (and the fact its a financial loser for them). Their card system is far more profitable and less risky, in other words. Of those we think are dual-linked (Card to GBT accounts), nobody has gotten back to us yet saying it didn't work.

OK...I am now being spammed on AW from an AW group (member? co-manager?) about joining their group due to this PacNet problem. I stress again, I will not be joining a group. Is this one of you?
The message reads:
Hi
Please check my profile so you know who I am. I want to stress straight away that this is not some kind of scam and is only in your best interest to read this email in full, as it directly effects you and all AW members.
You may or may not know about the issues AW are having at the moment and that all UK bank payments have stopped. Please see the the following link for details
https://www.adultwork.com/PacNetIssues.asp
As a result my group manager has asked me to contact certain AW members that aren't yet a part of a group to offer them a chance to register to ours, as payments with us are not directly from AW, so you will still be able to receive your payments as usual into your bank.
Being a part of our group also means you will not have to wait for your earnings and can be paid daily/weekly or whenever you request.
What do you get from joining our group?
*Daily or weekly pay (immediately available even including current credits)
*No 20% VAT to pay
*You keep your independence
*Profile management/maintenance
*Featuring on the home page of the site giving you 10x more coverage
*Assistance with absolutely ANYTHING 24/7
If you would like more information please leave your number and either myself or the group manager will give you a call.

I suppose they want to have it confirmed and be 100% sure that money they send for processing isn't going to get frozen with sanctions imposed, etc. It's one thing to have this nightmare going on, but quite another if OUR money gets frozen in Chexx's accounts. Not sure that would happen, but maybe that's the thinking.

It will not have been Collin, he's had a ton of new applications for DP already since yesterday. Any members of the group wouldn't bother with this either. We used to get referal payments but they stopped ages ago so no point trying to entice people en masse. It's one of the crappy copy cats no doubt. Anyone offering you a free webcam or whatnot is definitely NOT to be trusted!
